I literally camped there last night, was wet and windy although not quite as bad as your crazy night, but close . 40mph + winds. Glad you survived fhe night! I've never been in a situation like that but I imagine it's very scary. Can't believe you still kept your sense of humour haha" you know it doesn't make sense! " 😂😂 my favourite channel!! 👍
The storm reminded me of when I was camping in a tent near lake Michigan in the USA. I put a large tarp over the tent and staked it down. Some folks were walking by and said to me, "Y'all expecting some weather?" 2 nights later it stormed all night with strong wind and rain. I slept in and started my coffee before looking outside. All the other tents were flooded and folks had their sleeping bags hanging up to drip dry. I stayed dry and will always use a tarp over my tent.
The whaskey review section was hilarious - you trying to be serious about it and the 2 Chris' taking the proverbial! Then cut to your knackered tent, in a bit of a panic. It looked very scary and unpleasant, but hope you have managed to recover from the experience! The Lake District is such a beautiful place, but it can be so unforgiving sometimes! Great video as always, looking for to the next stealth camp.

I had the same happen in a storm on the Isle of arran but luckily the car was nearby so I was able to sleep. The tent was down valley by daylight. 3 mandingos and a little whasky made the most sense this time around. AAHH you better believe it did. Rights 👍

This so reminds me of the time when the older Chris tent was decimated the by the wind and rain, exact same conditions and that weather did sound atrocious - loved it...well, from a nice warm house anyway 😁. "I'm going to be nice and warm", talk about famous last words, never seen a tent get as flattened as that before and I thought you had the best pitch too😲 and I 'know' this doesn't make sense. What an adventure Mandingos! I use the same tent for my camping, so I'm a bit concerned now. I noticed you didn't use the Tensioning Belt System and I wonder if that would make any difference in these conditions. The best world famous whasky review so far 🤣🤣🤣

I record on my phone too and I actually bring two of those rugged solar charging banks. They'll charge a phone like 4 or 5 times full, last me for a couple days with 2 phones (my camera phone and my regular service phone with no good camera). They're also relatively waterproof in the rain or dropped in a puddle, and they're super rugged, and don't break if you drop them a few times. Real life savers.
