Warranty replacements usually don't include labor charges unless it's the company that installed the unit. But in no way does it cost 1200 dollars to replace a motor even if it was out of warranty maybe 500 at the most. For an inducer motor.
You made it back out to replace Inducer motor and notice because you used good custumer service skills and was, honest with her while she was upset and then calmed her down so this time She trusted you and you got a new customer from it. And I say that Charles because I have seen comments on other channels where guys go I charge an extra 500 dollars for yappy custumers or whatever maybe they should learn good custumer service skills because I am one of those people who would never want to buisness with people like that. And finally Charles by keeping systems up and running it keeps them out of landfills even though I personally in todays world hate natural gas or oil fired furnaces for most cases. That does not mean you just quote out new systems or whole new systems but you can give them something to think about like in this case a heat pump might be an option for the future but you can certainly leave the gas furnace in place with the gas, furnace set as the back up emergency heat too. VS selling them whole new systems. And Charles I don't care what anyone says whether it's a package unit or whatever when you replace a compressor you replace the reciever dryer with it. Whether the homeowner is in hurry to flip the house or not as it's an extra 20 minutes to an hour to put that in with the new compressor. As even with cars you must replace the reciever dryer with any compresor replacement and with my car it's decasant pack you replace that's maybe 10 dollars and then you need to vac down the system it might take 2 hrs but so what go get your lunch then you are good to go. And I don't want to hear while my boss said this or that. Know your stuff which is my point.
I like how this one came with a pre installed gasket

WARRANTY only covers the parts, homeowners pays for the work. The other company quoted 1,200, we did it for 340.
