This mod is going to have the largest map in Pikmin history, spanning over 100 square feet! Truly innovative.
Finally. I see so many Pikmin 2 mods that boast about the changes they've made but all the maps look like minor edits and/or recolors of the existing areas.
I'm glad to see someone that wants to create NEW overworlds to run around

I think it's alright, fine enough game as long as you don't go for %100 which requires not losing any pikmin on some levels

I'm not really in the community any more, but back in the day I made Pikmin 2: Monsterquest, which I believe was one of the first vanilla hacks of the game. There was also Monsterquest 2, which was more of a weird experiment than a proper game. Sometimes I consider digging up my old plans for Monsterquest 3 and diving back in, seeing what new tools have been developed and applying my new skills to create the complete custom overworlds I always dreamed of making. Seeing the fantastic things that modders are capable of these days is very encouraging. Wishing the best for you and this mod!
There is a bunch of new tools made I think its best you check out 251/216 to see the new stuff that can be added to the mods, like new cutscenes, treasure and overworlds. Also thank you btw : )
I love how Olimar's suit is updated to better match the Pikmin 3 and 4 models with the red and blue buttons alongside the whistle. Like, they are small changes and are not very noticeable due to the pikmin playstyle, but it's such a cool addition

Also I LOVE the inclusion of Rainbow Connection! It will play in the game, yes? That would be so great to run around commanding Pikmin while listening to it.
Thank you : ), were still working out a lot of the soundtrack but il try and include it into the mod if I can just there's a lot of copyright blocks around a lot of songs so its hard to add them into the mod.

It looks great and I’m happy we’re finally getting custom maps for this game, although I don’t feel like the textures feel natural enough, and kiwimin are just Bulbmin but BIRD, maybe make it so enemies have a low detection rate than normal with them, still this mod is fabulous.
textures were all from pikmin 1/2 in maps 1/2 also some caves are meant to feel fake like the golf cave, also I ran out of new stuff to give the pikmin so there just bulbmin but quick.
@@nintendocluberchannel42069hmmm what I basically meant with the maps/caves was that some textures feel out of place, and sometimes it feels too unnatural in contrast to the rest of the area, still looks great.

1:41 there’s no cut off or transition between the dirt and the grass, and that just kind of feels funky.
2:38 the top of the stumps don’t really feel “natural” as opposed to that one underwater logs, layout in 2 (sub level 10 in dream den) as there’s no transition
Basically what I feel like is missing is transition textures between objects/terrain. I still love the area designs I just feel like just not enough transition between the land.

Also correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the Pikmin squad numbers,sublevel number, and Olimar icon background a texture from the game Knack?
There from Mario Party one of the GC ones cant remember at this time tho, also if you have a pc or a phone you can easily set up dolphin to play mods.
