For sure, but Katelyn definitely isn't the person to wake these kind of people up or to change their opinions on anything. An fair enough, it's not her responsibility or obligation to. Some of these people CAN'T have their minds changed, regardless to who or what they hear. An regardless to the facts and or any statistics, but it's always good to encourage conversation and to understand why others think and feel the way they do.
Especially when you know that their opinions and stance are directly tied to their emotional feelings, whether that's because of a personal experience they've had. Or because they've been brainwashed and programmed by the Media, to believe and view things a particular way. Which is how the Media etc get people to think a certain way, by attaching these things and subjects to what emotionally appeals. An focusing only on the negative aspects of those things and/or subjects. A lot of times people don't even realize what they're saying, an have no rationality behind what they're saying or thinking. Because they're aren't thinking, an don't like to accept reality or accountability to take control of things for themselves.

It's not unreasonable for someone who has been shot to feel gun ownership needs to be controlled. Unfortunately, most crimes are committed with illegally obtained weapons.
And by the way, the 2nd Amendment allows the colonists to bear arms to provide a necessary militia to protect the state. We have the military and law enforcement to do that.
Just be truthful and say you own guns because you want to. Passing more gun control laws is useless; criminals don't usually obtain guns legally.

The weird part is we are watching insane people that shouldn’t have a gun, argue that guns should be banned. Their own behavior is the strongest argument against guns. They are unstable. Still that only means we really need guns today because insanity is at a all time high.

It’s simple, anyone can take the responsibility to learn how to defend themselves and their family with a firearm but most are too afraid, so they want to take your ability to do so. It’s morally disgusting.
Most are too afraid, or too emotionally/mentally unstable to handle such an extreme tool related to "self defense". I dont agree with these anti-gun folk at all, but to suggest that the only way to solve this immense issue is more guns to "responsible" gun owners for self defense purposes has always felt off. It's such an insanely rare coincidence that someone actually solves any consistent issue where a mass shooting may take place. Giving any yahoo who wants one for defense reasons isn't enough the screening process for a CC license needs to be rigorous not just costly.
Anyone can forfeit any of their own liberties and freedoms or their property. What they aren't free to do is to take those things we hold dear from someone else, and ur bound by ur sworn oath and duty to not perpetrate such heinous acts as a public servant. She should've asked her how she felt about the woman in West Virginia who was lawfully carrying a pistol and shot and killed a man who had an AR or AK bussing at a crowd of people with an intent to kill them as they gathered for a graduation/birthday party. There's plenty of other highly intelligent people out there there doing great work basing their videos solely on the facts. Check out someone like colion noir who's a highly educated lawyer and 2a advocate. Always gives solid advice. Just one example. Although you may not get the biblical scripture (which I like) you just get straight up facts.

I'm 63 years old when I was a teenager in high school we had gun racks with guns in our trucks and no one got shot if we had a problem with someone we settled by talking it out and if that didn't work we use our fists and after that we be friends
I'm 36 and it pretty much worked the same way with us. Fists were hardly ever used but we used words. And after a good Ole dust up we would get up and shake each other's hand and agree. Or agree to disagree.

I totally agree, and am so confused when people argue against gun violence, because the murderer is already committing an illegal act by killing someone, so guns being illegal would not stop them, as they would already be committing a crime in the first place.

Devin, I watch some of your music reactions and these your a very down to earth and i appreciate your perspective. I carried a 9mm basically everyday for 41 years I have never been robbed and never had to kill anyone. Criminals know the difference between a victim and a problem, I prefer to be a problem. the mother to my 3 boys was murdered almost 2 years ago she was stabbed over 25 times and her throat slit. I still cry when I think of she must have suffered. my son's will never be the same. I live near and work a lot in Atlanta and there are places you can't go without one. I guess my point is I've seen all one can see and I can't imagine not being able to protect myself or my family or someone in need.

As a ese paraprofessional I can say our right to defend ourselves is incredibly important.
I don't exactly understand when people value this for themselves but when it comes to school they feel that right should be different or taken away. I believe teachers should certainly be armed to defend themselves and their classrooms.

@@sundayaito4366 The first amendment is the Right to regress your government. The right to assemble for freedom of press, religion, and speach. The 2nd amanedment was put into place to ensure the first was not tampered with. George Washington himself said if the government gets too much power, it is our duty to take that power from them.

Anything can become a weapon. Hammers, knives, bombs, golf club, axe, etc..... Why don't we ban these items to? 🤦 Yes, ban to get a hold of weapons used in military only.
Even a iron skillet can be a weapon.
Ask any prisoner and he will tell you all about how you can make quite effective weapons with such items as toothbrushes and bars of soap..ANYTHING can be a weapon.
