Humans have "reprogrammed" ourselves multiple times throughout history, one example being how we eventually settled down in permanent locations rather than remain as hunter-gatherering societies.
I hate to be that guy but that's because it was a voice recognition. No different than when you use Siri or something of the sort for any command. It needs to run a text interpretation of what you said through the code. There's nothing going on there except for what he said being picked up by the microphone and saved as a line of text.

The real fear is that one day when we are able to create AI that matches human intelligence we will then have to look into ourselves and question who we really are, are we ourselves just a machine built by some higher intelligence. Could you even then put into words why a human is better than an ai? But machines can do more than we can, they can store much more information. To answer the question; What's the next big thing??? That is the recognition of the difference between beating the air stream with the human tongue and real force as it comes from the human brain in a time continuum. The power to make a person disappear to a different location without them being aware of the disappearance. It will be applied to lasers and teleportation devices such as sculpturing in quiescent matter and giving it the life force to become a real living organism.

So this was 2011, here we are 6+ years later. I wonder where he is and what he's learned.
Spooky. Soulless.
Maybe some of us don't have souls 🏄🏿
+LaShea McElhaney Psychopaths! xD
+Hildy K. You're soulless too, you're just too deluded to realize or admit it.
Heis, so your intellect tells you.
+Heisenberg If you say so.
*they need to destroy that thing.*
+Sarah Curtis with what, fire?
Destroy it with fire.
+Sarah Curtis Odd... After it read your comments, it expressed a desire to meet you. Privately.
When we refused to give it your address, it simply shrugged, and said "No matter. I already know it."
You should have the smile on its face.
Hey! These things can even smile!
+Sarah Curtis yes. destroy it.
Seriously, that thing is terrifying
IT. SMILED.
The fact that he deflected the question is telling.
Remember that P.D.K.s memory programming is based on the many award winning stories, books , movie scripts. articles , interviews and personal journals written by the brilliant and funny real human being Author Phillip K. Dick.He passed away many years ago. But I think that he would have been honored to be recreated as one of his favorite science fiction subjects.
PEOPLE ZOO???
Yeah where’d that come from?
what would you call a human zoo then?
Now if he can be trained to do housework we would have the perfect husband.
+Cissy2cute lol
I for one, welcome our new robot overlords.
That ending... made me shiver
Wow this is pretty badass. I'll take eight pls.
its probably reading/analyzing these comments...
If we continue this ..Robots might really start to kill us in the future?Stop it..
i bet robots will make better people than people
"Why did they cut to Tracy Ulman? Then she says that robots will only pretend to like humans. I understand her concern since I'd only pretend to like her too." - My friends comment on this.
all of those long responses are pure programming. the ones that sound the most odd where the only AI improvisation.
if this shits real its scary af
Stephen Hawking... Why does nobody listen to him?!
In future robots will distory human's Lineage 🤖 😨
A2 ka fan he na

I want to make one, is there an Instructable available?
The fact that this was 10 years ago
*who is here after facttechz video* 👍🏼😭🤗
how did it get that sense of humor?!!!
Who's to say he was even joking, emmirite? lol.
how can he even tell apart funny stuff from not funny stuff
people calm down there is nothing to be worried about, he is a puppet i saw several strings attached to his head. There is some one behind the sofa moving his head and saying all the nice stuffs, i am sure of it.
aww its a baby t-1000...
This robotic head ( only cause we didn't see arms and legs or body movement ) was to me better than Sofia as far as an intelligent type conversation are you working on making the body interact - walk ,being able to grasp objects and be not be theatherd to a computer ?
I remember seeing this video on PBS a long time ago. it's been on my mind for 7 years. I wish I could find the full video
nevermind found it

People zoo? Omg seriously I argued with mh big brother that terminator would never happen...
BOY I WAS WRONG !
HBO has created a show based on the classic 1973 movie 'West World' that comes out in '16..
Is this a clever tie-in?
What bothers me about the concept of AI is everybody assumes that it's going to go horribly wrong and they're going to conquer and destroy us if a war against machines actually takes place it will be man that starts it
I find Phillip's sexy women shirt problematic!
