      I’ve lowkey experienced this on my trippiest strain of weed. It’s like your brain freezes (like a computer screen) and the last thought going through was terror so it stays for a long time, but since your brain is frozen your brain can’t even process what that terror means for you, so you don’t really FEEL feel the terror, it’s just frozen in your current conscious

    I was reading people’s experience on this drug and someone said they took it at a festival, passed out, and when they woke up they were so disoriented, shocked, and confused because in the 10min they were passed out they had lived an entire lifetime in Mayan society. Like this guy was a kid, grew up, got married, died, and then woke up. Apparently he was depressed for a couple weeks after. I thought that shit was so trippy. I wish I wasn’t predisposed to anxiety, I have trouble submitting myself to the experience of the high, and I start to panic, fuckin sucks :(

    • @tiimo881
      @tiimo881 6 ปีที่แล้ว +58

      This guy Alan Watts sure has his ways of making things seem easier than they are :D
      I mean this in a good way though, for me there's always been this kind of pressure on psychedelics... a pressure to not turn crazy to not let yourself go when you actually should and ever since I started listening to his stuff these feelings left for good... Now I feel confident when I'm tripping and also more confident in day-to-day life... I just think it's crazy how much a person like him or a community like this can be there for you even though you've never had personal contact. It feels as though there was different ways of living that are clearly distinguished, not by the way you act, move, or work but on a much more instinctive level... don't know if my explanation sounds plain crazy or not hahaha would love a reply

    • @runreilly
      @runreilly 6 ปีที่แล้ว +49

      @@tiimo881 Not crazy. I've felt the exact same way. That urge to resist. I think that's where I run into trouble. There's definitely an immediate kinship when you're talking to someone and you find out they've tripped. Kind of a mutual understanding. "You've been there, too."

      There’s no way anyone’s going to have a good trip anywhere near this obviously pretentious, attention seeking and self absorbed guy like this. His ego precludes him from caring or even coming close to having a genuine interest in anyone but himself. Clearly shown as he has to finish the guys sentences, and repeatedly undermine and belittle his experience. DO NOT include a narcissistic person like this in your life at all, let alone to be near you while you are tripping on DMT. Obviously his very presence has an effect on what could have been gained from just allowing this guys experience be explained in his own words in his own time. He is irritating to watch. I find it utterly confounding that people are commenting saying that they would want him to be their “trip sitter”. But hey that’s just my opinion right...each to there own. PEACE

    I thought I was tripping for hrs in reality it was only 5 mins max..
    I love my trips like acid and mushrooms but DMT IS ANOTHER LEVEL..
    I was actually scared of not coming back and never felt more humbled to just be back in my own body again and just be normal, really hard to explain haha

    Last time I did this, as I "went under" I had a horrible fear that I was entering the "true reality" and leaving a false one. The only set back, I've spent the last 42 years in this false reality, creating a life, with a wife , a child and a fairly strong grasp on how life works. But I had this whole rush wash over me that I was finally waking up and leaving all that behind and could only remember pieces and small instances that seemed to fade like steam rising from a boiling pot. And it made me sad that I wasted my whole life only seeing the dream. Then I sobered up, only do drugs that enhance your reality, not ones that make you question it. We're stuck in this one and we can't change that fact.

    • @lyt_w8t
      @lyt_w8t 6 ปีที่แล้ว +90

      David Allen actually there are lots of "consciousness explorers" who claim that they constantly live in the 'larger reality' and only use one aspect of their consciousness to live in this reality, they mostly also discourage against drug use and try to encourage people to get to this level through meditation and doing the right thing in day to day life.

      People are so eager to experience being "awaken" to "reality" but our physical mind was designed to assist us in evolving in our physical world. Enjoy this earthly experience. Accept life both with the good times and bad but more importantly accept yourselves. Accept your virtues and your flaws. Part of our goal is to be imperfect. This reality is not false just a part of the bigger picture. People shouldn't be in a hurry to experience whats else is out there. In time we will all experience it.

    I’ve been completely sober for over 7 years and i still remember my experience with DMT. The peeling away of the layers of reality is unmatched but once it wears off you never get all those layers back. I gained a freedom from my experience that helped me access my talent as a lyricist in a mechanically cognitive way if that makes any sense and magnified my synthesia in ways that changed my life (for the better) I’ve yet to completely describe. Interesting to watch someone discuss the entities as well, as you always seem to run into someone. Also, I only got to go to where I went once despite a few attempts, after that i realized that place is to be found within. Be safe out there people.

    I came up with a DMT theory around 30 years ago while on a mushroom DMT trip that altered my sense of time. I realized that a common house fly isn't moving that fast, but to it we are moving that slow. Do to every living thing creating DMT in it's body the amount of DMT controls the perception of time. By slightly increasing the amount of DMT in the Human body it is shown to lower time perception, but increase reaction time.

      I like your head space.. Most who come out of a DMT experience find it hard to locate words, let alone describe what they felt and saw. To have a full narrative of your 'blast into everything' is rare. One usually come out of it remembering only bits and pieces. Maybe a particular color. Or a face. Or a sentence 'someone' spoke to them. My second DMT trip, all I could remember was a clown-like jester flipping a HUGE rolodex card set and each picture was to remind me of things. But all I remember of those cards was that one of them was lime-green. My first DMT trip I remember EVERYTHING..

    The last time I did DMT I lived out an entire lifetime where I was completely paralyzed, and unable to speak/communicate but my mind was untainted. I was in a mental institution because I needed 24/7 care. My family came to visit me at first, then years went by with no one coming to see me because they would end up in tears by the time they left. I watched the other patients come and go in the facility, some because they were "cured" others because they died. I've never been afraid of dying or things like that but after this trip I realized that my worst fear is being unable to take care of myself and being a burden to others/hurting my family members because of my poor choices. It was the most intense wake up call I've ever had and I haven't touched DMT since.

      It's not your brain using your fear against you, it's more your brain can't hold the wall that holds back your stressful thoughts it stores in the subconscious, so you're experiencing a lot of happy thoughts but your also experiencing bad thoughts that are overwhelming you because you don't want to experience them as frequently as happy thoughts so you're not used to the bad thoughts being normal in your head.

      Imagine hearing about a roller coaster that is so high you can see all the great lakes. Sounds crazy, exhilarating, fun.. Then you go there.. You're strapped in and it takes off, no stopping now. You climb at an astounding rate. In that moment, you realize your powerlessness. "This is going a lot higher that I expected."
      Then, without warning, you are shot to the top of the coaster with such momentum that your breathe is taken and tears flood your eyes and cheeks. Instead of it's assumed path back down, you break free from the rails and are sent on a brief orbit of planet earth, before returning rather briskly to the ground via parachute.
      A spokesperson for the local news is there and asks you, "How was it? What was it like?"
      You might need awhile:)

    I tried DMT for the first time yesterday. I learned that I’m not just me or maybe that I’ve lived more than one life or I kind of think it meant all life is connected? I was at least 4 other people during my trip and there were beings guiding me, it’s like they wanted me to know something. There were at least 3 times where I almost figured out the truth. I could feel something watching us and they didn’t want me to know what was real. They were trying to confuse me. So there were two groups, the helpers and the confusers.

Antidepressants at 18-29. 31 now. I took way to much, but took about 20g of Gold caps (Psilocybin containing mushroom) I analyzed my entire life. @@fabiannname4573 mkay, under normal circumstances the body will most likely make this response. However, she is on DMT which changes the way her brain is perceiving the world and everything that is happening. There is a reason why to become an actual doctor (not this nutcase) you have to study for years and years and years. Because he has no clue what the water is actually going to do to her. Will it A, wake her up. B send her into a panic attack due to suffocation that prolongs the traumatic experience. Which in turn activates a psychotic event that is irreversible like psychosis or schizophrenia. C drown her actually. Or D, not do anything and her brain dies? Under no circumstances was pouring water a good idea. If someone isn't breathing, do chest compressions to keep them alive, using your nail press down hard in their nail bed to force a "fight or flight" response, have smelling salts, or just use an EpiPen. But seeing as though this marvel of chromosomal research went straight for the water, I rest my case.
      Edit: have you ever used DMT? And if you have, do you think waking up to gasping for air will sit well with your brain? And seeing water going down your face as the result of you waking up? Your pretty sure you just met God, and now you just almost died too? I'd be shocked if she didn't have mental trauma from this to this day.

But has really taught me about vibrations and freqencys. The most crazy experience was when me and a friend did it over the phone together. It was like he was in Antarctica he kept sounding so far away I was seeing Aztec faces and I kinda got mad and said you already showed this to me before then my right hand and right leg started shaking out of control. My trip - I thought I died when I smoked it and I accepted that I did and there was this explosion of pink light and i was floating in these pink fluffy clouds and i could hear this magical beautiful symphony of music playing and i realised the music was every single living organism in the universe just living and exisiting all at once. The I saw these pink orbs of light in a circle around me (around 6) and they were telepathically talking to me saying that love is the answer to all, love is god, love is key and they said they were going to heal me and love me and they all come towards me all at once and i was glowing pink and i felt like I was in this puddle of water that was sparkling around me. They asked me to come with them and i started to get spooked and said I wanted to go back home, go back to earth and then i started to fade back into reality. My life has never been the same. I used to shake from withdrawals from alcohol dependence but it vanished. It was mind blowing crazy

  • @zzzhuh
    @zzzhuh 5 ปีที่แล้ว +157

    What DMT feels like:
    The initial exhale is where you'll be in shock. It's an overly intense 'brain rush' that makes your mind feel like it is melting, and exploding at the same time. I can only imagine that something like a seizure or head trauma feels similar to it.
    It's not a pain, but it is VERY intense. Overly intense. It's the rush that puts your mind into a realm that is above 3 dimensions. Think of the initial 'high' you get when you peak on molly, but much more in your mind,less throughout your body, and a lot more to process at once.
    After that you're almost scared because you're not sure how much longer you can hold on. After that you are induced into a high much more powerful than ACID or Shrooms. It's not that you 'hear' things, it's mainly that you start to see patterns. Your eyes will automatically be shut (like this guy was here, but it feels like they're open) and you'll see patterns forming, crystallized shapes, patterns of diamonds in immense form. Essentially these patterns become infinite. Some will even start to see other beings (haha, I typed that as he started to talk about 'them'). They fade in and out, zooming really close, moving far away. These two things repeat in ways that it makes it hard to concentrate.
    Some people puke (which i don't blame them, after the head trauma you just experienced). Whenever someone get worried on a dmt trip, you just have to remember that it doesn't last nearly as long. It's also something where you don't get 'head games' like you would with ACID, where you start to question your reality. It's more of a personal experience, where everything in front of you become absent, and your mind is where you dive deep, deep into.
    It's the only hallucinogen that I actually enjoyed (I've done it about 5-7 times, but I no longer do, I've seen/done it enough for my life time). Shrooms. Acid - both of those I would never recommend someone. Those toyed with my mind in ways that took me a few years to get past. To this day I still have random 'flashbacks' that are not pleasant. No one has probably died from ACID, but I can bet there are many that were never the same, and not in a good way.
