Hi Andrew, it is so nice people try to fix things. My e-bike, a Vogue Discover N8, i bought cheap ( €450 ) 2 years ago. It had some miles on in but the battery still was and is in good shape for my needs. Now there are some point of attention. The rear wheel is wrecked. It is so far gone the bike mechanic told me i had to buy a new wheel what will cost me close to €400. No way! I bought a €5 ball bearing and the wheel went 3000 km further. Now the wheel is in need of repair again. Then i bought from Marketplace a broken Vogue elite bike. Just for the rear wheel and maybe for the accu. The accu is different and iḿ not sure if it is wise to convert it. The good thing is, the complete holder of the accu, the thing what fits on the frame, is the same. Also the rear fender is the same. Both are broken on my e-bike. And to my surprise the Vogue Elite i bought is not broken. It was a bad connection in the wiring. The bike looks very ¨ used " but it is/was running very smooth and only 1500 kilometres on the display. I scrapted it with the idea to build the front wheel motor on a better quality bike i still have in my shed. Vogue bikes are like their new price suggests not the best quality. I just love the Bafang mid engine on my Discover Vogue. It pulls like crazy when you go up a hill. The freedom to be creative is also a big plus. On many Dutch brands you cant use the bike anymore if you changed a tyre. The bike has then go to a dealer to reset the computer. Very bad!

Hello! If the accu is the same voltage, i don see any reason not to switch it on the bike that you use. I did the same thing on a Batavus Fonk E Go, wich i bought for 30 euros, because was in a car accident. Now, my Batavus runs with a accu like the one in this video.
You can convert the motor to other bike, for your own satisfaction, like i did, but personally i think Vogue bikes are not that bad as price is suggesting. Most common dutch bikes are manufactured in the Netherlands, Germany and France, while Vogue (Holandia, De Ruyters, etc), in Romania, where the salaries are way more lower.
Good luck with your project, i hope i will here more about it!
