You're the only TH-camr that's ever convinced me with a product review, I got the Olight H2R Nova a while back and can't fault it. It gets daily use, mostly as a headtorch. Way better than the smaller Petzl headtorch I have, which I just keep for hiking now.

I can see this as a very tactical device in the event that you are pinned down. Turn one of those on in their direction and it will instantly change to status quo. You hit an attacker in the eyes with that and it will dismantle their ability to aim or track properly for sure.

You're average punk on the street isn't prepared with military grade goggles. And in places where you're not allowed to have a weapon this is great to blind an assailant long enough to run away from the danger.

Man, that’s awesome, I picked up a Lumintop Tool AA 2.0 a few months back to use for my every day carry flashlight, so far I have been impressed, it has worked out really well for me, but that 100,000 lm flashlight it’s just amazing!
By the way, I love your channel, I love the fact that you are very down to earth and you have some really informative and smart videos, keep up the good work!

Hey Nate, thank you for all your valuable lessons. You are and have been an inspiration to me and probably many others.
This is probably my most favorite practical learning channel.
If the end comes sooner or later, please know that i feel you have improved my chances of survival considerably. Not just by fancy gear and skill tips but also in psychological aspect of a SHTF situation.
One of my favorite videos is probably the one where you explain about loss and grief. It really helped me translating my feelings and realising it when i recognize changes in other peoples behaviour after loss of any major kind. What a treasure that was.. thank you and may you live a long, loving and happy life.. Surely Karma demands it! ;)

That's great that the output is 13k lumens but how long can it work at that capacity and for how many cycles before it kills the battery. Also, does it overheat and does it provide a focused beam? More light is great but not necessarily better if it doesn't last long.
When i go camping i light up the whole forest for 10 minutes. Thats all the batteries last with this torch and im in complete darkness for the rest of my trip. Its ok anyway because my retinas are burned from those first 10 minutes.

It doesn't overheat because you get 45 secs before the first step-down, then 60 secs on the next before you have bog standard lumen levels! Chasing status on this one rather than practicality. The olight Maurader mini is way better for a small light. Holds higher setting for much longer - then holds high settings for a couple of hours. Also night vision protection, hunting and fishing lights (Red, Green, Blue), plus a gun mount style spotlight without much flood effect. The seeker pro 3 is also a good alternative! 👍

I bought one of these because of this video. I found that the flashlight has a locking feature on it. If you press the button 3 times, it locks and won't turn on accidentally. Then press it 3 times again to unlock it. So no worries with it turning on by accident because of the button anymore my friends. Thanks for the great content. Keep up the good work. Years ago I took a night hand gun training course. The instructor was the best I have ever had for gun training. I have been to dozens of gun training classes over the years. At the time (about 10 years ago), the instructor pointed out that for night defense get the brightest flash light you can possibly can. This allows you to disable any potential attacker. It may give you a few seconds longer to be able to neutralize a threat.
At that time the Imalent MS03 was not available. I am considering buying one because of what that instructor said a decade ago. The only problem I have with the MS03 is the location of the switch. It would be better to have the the on/off switch at the end of the flashlight. This allows you to more quickly turn on/off the flash light. In a hostile situation you really don't want to keep the flash light on after you spot and possibly stun a potential enemy.

LOL those are insane! I've been somewhat of a flashaholic for the last 14 yrs or so and remember when even 100 lumens out of a pocket sized Surefire was impressive.

Great video! Flash in a pan springs to mind though, inasmuch as you get 45 seconds on brightest - then only 60 seconds on next step down. After that the lumens are underwhelming!

This would be a great non lethal self-defense weapon for night joggers, deters the assailant and it’s so bright that cops will come out of curiosity
The easily depressable on switch would be too dangerous in a pocket while jogging as inferred in the video. Surefire way to immolate yourself. I have a skillhunt m300 2000 lumen accidentally turn on in my windbreaker like pocket with broken stitching once, must have hit about 90C almost burnt myself trying to fish it out and I thought it was supposed to have inbuilt heat detection to stepdown. Scary moment.

I just picked up six new flashlights at walmart, they were a dollar each, including batteries. They are pretty darn bright and the switch is recessed and positive. They are very lightweight and the pink ones are easy to find if you drop them.
Good for emergency backups, but not well made or reliable.

I REALLY ENJOY my Imalent MS18 and my Nitecore tm9k. The tm9k has 9,500 lumens, I have been looking at the Imalent MS03 for 10 months, and I may get one, but I already have over $2,200 in high performance flashlights, so one more won't make a difference...LOL🤣

Actually, I am all in favor of having multiple ways of starting a camp fire - I grew up camping in the mountains of northern Wyoming and camp fires were on my mind. I currently have three (ways of starting a fire) but if these things are rechargable and can start a fire then they would be my fourth.
I totally agree with you and literally just commented that it would be nice to have a backup light for my bugout bag that's capable of starting fires in case of a emergency out in the wilderness and not able to get a fire started with waterproof matches or other 3 methods I use.dont really camp anymore due to friends all having families so we don't get together much for outdoor trips but in this day and age with all thats going on in the world you just never know what's gonna happen and when you'll have the need to actually get a fire started for a survival situation.never hurts to try being prepared for any situation.
