    It's cool how much information you can get from watching it. I always imagined that the whole school would dart around when one got hooked but they surprisingly don't react much if any usually

    What part of Kansas do you hit when fishing??

  • @dabeast6923

    I like your videos. You actually show the livescope screen. You don’t just talk about how you see it and then catch them, never showing what it actually looks like. I have and love the livescope! Would have a 500 dollar boat and 3000 dollar livescope system if I had to!!! This helps pass the days at work since I have a boring job

    Just curious what are average weight on these fish? Any 2lbers?

    • @KansasAnglingExperience
      @KansasAnglingExperience  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don’t really weigh crappies very often. Average is probably 1.5? Have caught several over 2 but not that common for this style of fishing on this lake

    Where do you look for schools? I don’t see many on my lakes, just singles or a couple at most.

    Just a tip for whoever care. If you can’t get them to eat when you get on top of them, back off and cast past them and let your jig pendulum towards them. Works every time.

    Can you give details on Air Temp, Water temp and depth you guys are fishing. Couldn't see it on the live scope screen. Wish my local lake in KY had chunks like you guys were pulling in. Nice fish, great video.

    Great Video, Do you get much vibration on you bow mount graph while the outboard is in idle? Or would you recommend putting the unit in 'stow position' while running the big motor. I want one!! Thanks

    • @KansasAnglingExperience
      @KansasAnglingExperience  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hardly any, especially if you put the additional mounting plate below the deck that it comes with.

      @@dsmith2858 Yes that is exactly what I was talking about. Here is a link to a few pictures of what I have done so far on my prototype underwater video system.
      drive.google.com/drive/folders/1DX4KEXKMyz3kGL4aNc1P1NsD6t7UPj-o?usp=sharing
      Of course, if you don't have decent water clarity you will get lousy video. I live in Florida and have no idea of what the water clarity of different lakes in your area is like. Just thought I would offer the thought in case it might??? be possible.
      Phil Krug a friend of mine helped me with my setup. It requires the use of the GoPro App and some small diameter about 1/8" communications cable that has modified ends. On one end the cable is placed next to the GoPro Waterproof housing and the other modified end is placed next to the antenna on my Android Cell phone which has the GoPro App installed. This will allow you to control your Gopro camera while submerged under water. I have about a 50 foot cable attached to mine and it works fine. Still working on a possible steering system so the camera can be rotated while underwater. The BIG part of the equation is having decent water clarity.
      Just something I thought might be helpful to others.
