    Brian, Were you going to different places along the channel with cover that you marked previously to locate these fish or did you Side Scan for them, mark, and then close in with the Livescope or a mix of both? Any specifics to where along the channel and approximate depth as well as the maximum distance between any two schools would be good to know. Just curious? I know it's been a while since this was filmed, but any recalled input would be greatly appreciated!

      I have hundreds upon hundreds of trees marked. I just put Livescope down and start checking waypoints.

    Do you have any problems with using spot lock on your trolling motor and damaging transducer cables on your front graph? I've read that has been an issue for some.

      No because I don’t have any cables on it...I use built in sonar on the trolling motor and my livescope transducer is on the separate pole.

    I’m definitely all about good crappie vids. I know you were adjusting the camera to get the best shot on your garmin for the video but selfish me I was wanting to keep track of your clock and voltage readings. O well, still a great video. Stay safe and have a Happy New Year.

      😂 clock ranged from 11:37 to 1pm! Voltage 19v to 17v! Hope that helps

    How are the generic dewalt batteries doing ? I set my system up that way also but only have 5 AH batteries. They last about 4 hours but thinking about buy bigger generic batteries for it. Thx

      I picked up a few knockoff 9a for $66 each. Definitely the better option than 5-6

    I like the view of watching livescipe and then you setting the hook. That was great audio too. What kind of microphone do you use on the go pro? I just got a Go pro 8 and am curious.

      Hero 7 Black. I use a foam shell that fits over it. Helps keep wind noise out.

    Thank you so much for the chips and the lessons that you give do you have no idea how appreciative people are of it. Can you tell me what rod setup you're using? What length it is and what pound line do you use braid or monofilament?

      That rod is a 7’ medium light, 2500 size reel, 10# braid. No mono for me.

    Question.. how do you like that Cabelas Guidewear extreme? I'm thinking about buying that jacket but wasn't sure if it was worth the cost, and if I should go with reg or long version. Any insight would be great. Thanks!

      I love it but it’s not my cold cold weather suit, I have Ice Armor if it’s below 30. Definitely still need to layer with Guidewear. I have the regular version and I’m 6’ tall and it fits perfect

      Because the Helm feature of Active Captain to record the screen is not compatible with Echomap units.
