It doesn't matter. Even if you know they're there, you don't pull up next to somebody. You go find them elsewhere. It's really a win because you end up finding new spots. The more spots you have, the better trips you'll have.
Thanks for another great video. I work part time in the marine department for a major outdoor retailer. I am always directing folks to watch your videos for tips and tricks with Garmin, livescope and fishing in general. Thanks for all you do for the fishing community.
You have the best videos on livescope I have seen. I tried watching on last that had 70,000 subscribers and he didn’t put his camera close to his livescope till halfway through and I got sick of it. I decided to put my own clip on TH-cam last night. Livescope crappie fight. Also was that school stationary on that tree? I have fished them here on Ky Lake and most of the time they are on the move. Ready to try a new experience with my livescope. Have 289 keepers on my last 7 trips
I haven’t caught crappie since I was a little kid fishing with my dad. There used to be a great spot at Webster people called crappie road. When Webster flooded years back, the spot was destroyed unfortunately.
This is a learning question, was those crappie on the move , or holding to that tree I saw in the middle of them ? OR was that just the look of the live scope?
I love your videos. Very educational. Clinton is my favorite lake also. Question, during the crappie spawn, do different parts of the lake spawn at different times?
Couldn’t tell ya. I really couldn’t care less about the crappie spawn. I’m done crappie fishing by the second week of March. The boat traffic is asinine, and the walleye bite is too good to think about a crappie around that time period.
MAN YOUR VIDS ARE THE BEST!!! MOST INFORMATIVE OUT THERE!! I'LL WATCH YOU OVER THE NFL AND NASCAR. WISH YOU WOULD DO MORE ON THE SETTINGS YOU USE SO'S ME N ALOTTA OTHERS CAN GET CLOSE TO BEING AT YOUR LEVEL OF RUNNING THAT GARMIN LIVE SCOPE. WATCHED YOU N WENT OUT N GOT ONE!! NOW I GOTTA LEARN TA RUN IT LIKE YOU DO.
Can you tell me how you are finding those fish are they on a drop off or holding to some kind of structure? I watch your videos a lot sometimes you tell sometimes you don't so I was just wondering
Lov the video i got a tip leave the livewell open and bank board them crappie it keeps the noise down from walkin back and forth where i fish they spook this time of year
These fish are 10-20 ft down here, I don’t really have issues with them spooking while walking in the boat. I do like tossing them from the front though!
@@KansasAnglingExperience yep yr water is stained they cant see yr boat im fishing clear water different ball game except when y get that ocassional perfect day 👍
Man I don’t get it. I’m almost 40 grew up fishing that lake and know most of your spots. You have a lot I don’t know. I would never pull up on someone fishing like that and if I happen to be on one of yours while I’m fun fishing you just ask me to leave. I’ll never mess with someone’s lively hood while out fun fishing. Keep up the good work!
Great fishing video. It's always funny to me when I hear someone talk about other boats near them. It doesn't bother me as long as hitting me boat or getting in my line. We don't own the lake.
Why does it bother you when someone comes close. You don't own the lake. When l find a school and have people that start coming close to me l just invite them to fish the area with me. Everytime l do (which isn't often ) l always have a great conversation with them and meet some real great people. No I don't move in on people myself because there are too many people that think they own the lake and it aways turns out bad. Just wondering why God be with you.
@@KansasAnglingExperience Drive me insane man. My local lake is 20,000 acres and they will pull within a cast of ya or cruise by real slow within side imaging range to see what you are fishing on. On another note, how is the rear livescope working out? Im currently running two up front but have been thinking about moving one of them to the back.
@@tobytester2674 it’s great, a very long overdue addition for clients. Been a fun winter having 3-4 clients in the boat all having their own livescope and screens.
It’s not cheating at all. Because I know tons of local anglers that have it and still don’t catch a damn thing. It’s an educational tool, and you’re only as smart as the technology you can be deadly with.
Lol shit's hilarious. Im the same way if anybody is near me. Won't think of anything other than absolutely hating that mf'er. Even if I fished that exact spot the day before and know they're there, I'll go find them somewhere else before fishing next to somebody. I think these people are just lonely and want a new friend. He probably sensed the hate energies eminating from you with the turned back and decided not to chit chat.
@Kansas Angling Experience it really is. I fish at big hill pretty often and you'll have people come up and literally cast right where you're fishing lol. Theres been some heated conversations on big hill🤣
just out of curiosity, when u make a living posting stuff online for 300+million people to see, are u expecting to not have another angler next to u? I'd understand the complaints and frustration if u had literally any other occupation. in 10 years there will be 25 boats on u instead of 1, all chasing a by then stale bite and u will be wondering what happened to your spots.
First of all, I make my living as a fishing guide, with close to 300 guide trips per year. This TH-cam shit is just for fun. Second, if “300+ million people” watched my videos, I’d be in Turks and Caicos naked with my wife living our best lives drinking ourselves into oblivion not giving a shit about another boat fishing out my livewell in Kans-ASS. Just remember when other boats watch these videos and come find me on the lake, they’re the clowns and always will be. Absolute embarrassment.
Your Livescope footage is on point man. From seeing the movement of the jig all the way to the movement of the fish. Like the boat. I’m in the market for a boat that style. How many feet is it between your steering wheel and you live well in front of the motor. Thanks
I love how you act like you're the only one one who knows where the crappie are schooling up 😂

Great video. I love seeing the cooking side of the story. Nice dynamic. Keep it up.
Man! Your livescope looks so good compared to the ones I've fished with on friend's boats
Where do you get those jig heads with the plain shanks?

This is a learning question, was those crappie on the move , or holding to that tree I saw in the middle of them ? OR was that just the look of the live scope?
Holding to the edge of the channel. Sometimes there’s a tree, sometimes they’re out just slowly roaming around in the channel.
Thanks
How could a day be any better after a work-a-thon Expo? Crappie taco's sound and looked great. Thanks for the video.

Is that an 8612? If so does it work on in colder weather/with gloves?
1243xsv. If you have gloves that are touchscreen friendly it’s fine. I usually fish fingerless though.
Is your monitor a 106sv Ultra Echo Map?
Which one? My livescope unit is a GPSMap 1243xsv. And a 106 below it. At my console I run a 106 and 126.

Not sure bud. It’s a Crestliner 1850 Raptor DC. It’d guess without measuring that it’s about a 6-7 ft cockpit from console to back deck.
