Nice....ordered this once they announced it was available. I've been impressed with their quality with all the products they produce, they put a lot of thought into their gear and take these type of bags to another level. There are a lot of other bags on the market....most with sub par quality other than the major company that I won't mention, this video just gets me all excited to get my order. Great overview!
Tim, thanks for the awesome video on the Mobius 2.0! Really awesome job detailing the new features, especially the 'Maximized' front pocket organization. Keep up the great work! - Alex @ Vanquest Team
Great review! I'm looking for an EDC to keep in my truck. This looks like it will work perfectly. Thanks for taking the time to go in to all the details!
ETV, Great review! I've been debating on getting one of these. I'm sold. I'm getting the Vanquest! We all know of the fantastic engineering and build quality.
How much bigger is this than the old Mobius. I know it says 15% but looking at the pics on their website it looks almost comically big on the guy who's wearing it. So i'm wondering how much larger it actually feels to carry.
Hey Tim. Nice bag. Vanquest has some nice stuff. Nice little review. The high vis inside material is great. I think Vanquest was the first to use the inside high vis. Cheers... Wheels out.
I've had a UTG version of this bag for two years and have beat the hell out of it and it's still going my strong. YMMV. It cost less than half of what this one does.
The UTG isn't the same as the Vanquest in terms of quality and function. They are all based off thr original Maxpedition Jumbo, but Vanquest takes the original and adds a lot more features than the Jumbo did. The problem I have with other "brands" is that they wear out a lot faster and aren't as durable. If you have a chance check out Vanquest products in person and you will see and feel the difference.
I've run this style of bag since 2008 as a true EDC bag- all day, every day. I own two Jumbos, a GEN1 MOBIUS, and the UTG bag Eladgarr mention. I purposely went out of my way to use the UTG for a year and a half steady. Zero issues. Now, yes, on paper, the UTG bag appears to not have the same level of quality of materials, but, pragmatically speaking, it makes no difference in the real world. This is especially true when you factor in cost. At a third the price, you break-even point is a third of the so called better built bags' life span, right? The "features" isn't that persuasive in my mind either because we are all individuals with individual needs. What works for one of us, won't necessarily work for another. So, while you may give up a little pride of ownership if you were to go with the UTG bag, and it will be harder to impress your friends on the interwebs, the UTG bag is a perfectly viable alternative.
I really love this bag. Specifically because it is ambidextrous carry... (I am a lefty). Thanks for the review and the video. Is this still as pre-sale or is there a place to order one? (cant afford one now but I wanna keep it in mind for my b-day)
Well now I'm going to have to get one in place of my Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack. It's like that model from Maxpedition but on steroids and ambidextrous. Any gear trading sites that you know of? Great videos and reviews! Have been subscribed and watched many of your vids. Thanks! Jeremy, KS
+pickledbologna Agreed. Love my Jumbo Versipack also. Tough as nails. Something new, more advanced is always creeping up, usually right after you buy the product! One thing I will mention about the Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack...do folks that own them realize you can cinch up the water container holder by folding it up from the bottom, therefore letting the velcro strap reach below to bottle container area...there's a spare patch of Velcro with a grommet hole. Start the strap from the bottom, fold it up, cinch up the straps and use it as another, smaller, vertical-type storage space, or cinch it flat. I haven't heard one review on TH-cam mentioning this tiny trick?
Vanquest has done an outstanding job with this the V2 this pack. I was in the market for a new pack with my Mongo being too big and heavy after 6 years of filling it up, it was either this or the new Maxpedition line. My problem as been the room for a tablet with this bags (not deep enough to sit comfortably in the sleeves, but with the deeper bag looks like they have addressed that. Looks great!
You seen the new 2020 version? Made of cheaper materials, Vanquest have sold out their valuable and loyal customer base. I loved their products before. Sorry, no more Vanquest for me. I’m going to 5.11
I'm like in the back back but dude you gotta be a little bit more specific on your dimensions and all that you need death pick up the bag and show as the compartments pick the bag app open up that compartments and display it
Moley? like holy moley? No, nobody calls it that. It's pronounced Molly like the girl's name. First came Alice then came Molly (MOLLE). Both girl's names. And what is this bag made of? Koo-dora? Maybe you meant Cordura (core-doo-rah) unless this really is some knock-off fabric with a similar name like a Sorny, Magnetbox, or Panaphonics TV. ;)
PacSAFE is better in my opinion also NON-TACTICAL LOOKING! Bags like these are going to get SOMEBODY'S HEAD BLOWN OFF since most in law enforcement are very aware of these types of bags by VANQUEST, 5.11, MAXPEDITION etc. As a civilian I RATHER NOT LOOK LIKE IM TRYING TO DO A LIVE ACTION SKIT OF "G I JOE The Movie" BAGS LIKE THESE ARE NOT "GRAY MAN!"

I have several bags and items from Vanquest. I have an addiction to the now. I love their products, never have I found anything even close to them.
Vanquest has so really smart designs
Great review! This bag is perfect in every way for me. Vanquest seriously out did themselves with this bag, really smart folks there at Vanquest.
Great review! I'm looking for an EDC to keep in my truck. This looks like it will work perfectly.
Thanks for taking the time to go in to all the details!
Glad to do it - this is a great bag - my favorite from Vanquest.

Glad the video helped. This is a great EDC bag.

That bag has a lot of features. It may be my next bag is my UTG messenger bag ever wears out.

Hey Tim ,,maybe you might know ,,do you think this is bigger than the 511 Rush MOAB 6 ? I like this bag
I'm thinking two of them for saddlebags for my DR650, or something similar.
Very cool, love Vanquest.
great bag. great review. vanquest bags and gears are great.

I was considering the same thing
especially if the shoulder strap is totally removable. I still love my jumbo versipack

Vanquest...good stuff. Streamlight...good stuff.
Looks just like the PUSH PACK by 5.11, just bigger.
Nice bag..
You really carry that everyday? What do you do for a living that would require you to carry so much stuff?
Can a guy ride a bmx bicycle while wearing this pack comfortably?
Good video. I have a "messenger" bag now and it's just ok. I think this one will be perfect for EDC and my truck bag.
When will you guys start using centimeters like the rest of the world?
