I was riding a Triumph Tiger 1050, but I moved to a rural area, mid Wales, uk, beautiful countryside, my Tiger just felt top heavy and dangerous on the tiny windy lanes, i realised I needed a smaller cc duel sport, I test rode a Honda CB500x, I zoomed in on a KTM 390 Adventure and them I came across your Chanel, you’ve completely turned my thoughts around, and guess what happened.........today I bought a Granite black 2021 Himalayan, I pick up in 6 days, can’t wait, have joined a national/ local green lane group, lovin life.......thanks to you sir 🙏😁😎
@@mohusain8996 no, still waiting, I visited the showroom Saturday and have been promised it would have arrived by this Tuesday 🤞, although I’ve been told that twice before🤦♂️ I’m still hopeful though 😁
@Prasanta Rajkumar If Enfield Himalyan is doing well, it's great news. I hope they sell lots in Europe, America, globally. They apparently have a good product and deserve the success.
I made a 4000km here in Argentina last month and it was absolutely perfect in all sense. I did all types of roads, pavement, dirt, dust, rocky and always same excellent result even when I was carrying a lot of stuff. Also I climbed in some places where other bikes had issues and it was like nothing it was amazing, since them I feel I'm riding a goat because its climbing lol
Been following OMR for a while. I'm an old but recent biker. Changed from a Versys to a Himalayan. What a difference. The bike gives me confidence. I love it.
Good review! At present I'm watching Itchy Boots' 274 videos, and she's done 2 large trips with the Himalayan. Now, I'm 67, and after an interval of 38 years (!) I started riding again, and when looking for a bike , I ran into a Honda CBF600SA from 2010, that I could obtain for only 2400 $. Now, I can't fault that bike in any major way (handling/power/braking) but it DOES lack in one regard: it doesn't have a 'character'...It's like an electric motor, the torque is there, but it grows so linear, more like a car. With the Himalayan you look forward, and see nice & simple instruments in front of you, with that Honda it's more like a dashboard of a car... Granted, the RE doesn't have much hp, but my days of fast driving & cornering have long gone... Besides, there's a 462cc cylinder upgrade & with a powertronic unit available for this RE, that does a great job in giving more torque, as well as a slight hp increase. That's where my question comes in: 8 out of 10 times I'll ride with my wife, and how is that (power-wise), when accelerating & braking with a passenger? Must add, both of us are no heavy weights (combined about 135kg's)...Could you (maybe) do a (short) review of this bike and how it handles on normal roads with a passenger?
I have 2 videos out riding double. Look through my Caalog of videos you'll find: "Can You Ride Double" & "More 2-Up On A Stock Himalayan" Enjoy & Welcome back to riding!
Really happy with my subscription of this channel. Thank you Ronin. This is mature content. I am young but I don't really like the way other channels like Yammie noob give examples and try so hard to be funny but actually they are not. You are riding it and reviewing it simultaneously. Amazing. Lot of respect my man! . I own a himalayan and I love it just for the joy of motorcycling. Experiencing that nature while riding through the countryside.
In 3 months I will be 66, I am somewhat athletic, very fast learner, good vision etc. I am 5’9 , 180lbs. And this will be my first motorcycle. I saw your video on the ER Meteor 350 and your enthusiasm was overwhelming. After seeing the meteor video, I changed my mind on the himalayan. And now! I am flip-flopping again with the Himalayan. I live in central part of Mexico and a 1/2 hour distance from a Royal Enfield exclusive dealership. Well you can say ride them both! Valid, but I am a newbe, what do I know. My expected rides will be more likely country paved roads and ocasional fire roads. HEELLLPP!! Thanks for your videos, gracias amigo.
I've been watching a lot of videos of the RE bike. Today I came across your channel and after watching two videos, I can tell you that you helped me confirm my purchase of a Himalayan. A hug from Lima Peru, see you on the road.
I had just spent my savings on a RE Continental GT 650 2 weeks before watching Ronin make me wish my choice was the Himalayan instead. But I was very satisfied with the Conti tho, just really really curious to try out the Hima
See here I'm having the 2016 carburettor model in India as my daily rider...total 28000kms and dreaming of a used Iron 883.... because I think it will make me happier 🙄
In India they also use sometimes cheaper parts for the local market bikes, like a ukranian injection pump instead of the japanese one in the export model; Tyres too, Indian tyres tend to be harder, have lower grip.
Got my license beginning off December, bought my bike Bommeltje The Himalayan end of January and have no regrets whatsoever. Having great fun with it at 56. I couldn't agree more with you. Great to see you love it as well. Greetings from Victoria, Australia.
I think "Itchy Boots" who bought one in India about 18 months ago said it cost the equivalent of about $2,500 in India! If I ever go to India all I am packing is my riding gear and a set of the improved Brembo brake pads from Hitchcocks here in England which apparently sort the brake issue !
I'm a Harley rider who bought a himalayan because I need & whole new loom from the USA. Now I'm loving the little 400cc Love your content Sir keep cranking them out.
RE has put the fun back into motorcycling. I have had many bikes and love my interceptor 650. Enjoyed the video and I understand where you are coming from!!
Hey Ronin...great video ..okay let me confess one thing ..for starters ..since your first video about Himalayan ..been following you ..at first I used to think ..just one more from the lot ..who would say cheesy things about the bike..coz believe me or not ..the RE Himalayan is a subscriber Magnet ..if you are honest( not buttery..& definitely shouldn't be a hater) ..meet these two conditions & the subscribers just start tumbling.. Having said that...watching you from less than 1000 to over 5.7K subscribers..over period of time .I now know firmly ..that you mean what you say in your videos..its pretty evident in the videos too ..Here in India too ..prices have gone up post lockdown..Hope to see more good content from you as always Best wishes .safe rides Lots of love from India to our dear Uncle Ron
Thank you ever so much Uncle Ron. I always mean what I say which means I'm a TERRIBLE salesperson, because I can't force or fake it. If I love something I'll tell you. If I don't ... Mum is the word. Cheers from Ohio and THANK YOU for your support!!!!!!! 😃
Another great video- your passion for this beautiful motorcycle shines as always. I’m in Yorkshire UK which is a great test ground for my 2018 Himalayan. Just hit 10,000 miles and running smoother than ever. I’m looking forward to more moto camping very soon when we have freedom to travel Keep up the good work and enjoy that fabulous Himalayan of yours. Be well ol man Ronin 🏍🏕☀️
Woke up, saw there was an Ol Man Ronin video, immediately watched it, and had a smile on my face at the end. Another great video, Ronin, as per usual. Enjoyed zipping around Ohio with you in the morning. Keep it up!
Looks like I have a lot of catchup to do. Before we go further, I wanted to thank you for the stickers I have received. Much appreciated. I have lately been busy with other tasks, but hope to catch up with your videos soon. Thanks once again!
Every time I see your video,it's like I have already thought about it and you are narrating it.As you mentioned coming to India in the 70'S....lot has changed since.Hoping that soon you visit our country and ride your beloved Himalayan. As we are passing through the tough times of Covid19,praying and hoping better times are ahead for this world.Always a pleasure hearing you, everything is quite relatable to the masses.Stay Safe,Ride Safe!
Just got a preowned Himalayan yesterday, you inspired me to go get one, I think I have watched all your Himalayan videos haha. I am totally blown away by its comfort, I love it so much! Thanks Ol' Man!
The wife and I have had ours for about a month now and we are loving them. She’s still learning but I’ve had some great rides on mine. We have thousands of miles of logging roads, trails and awesome two lane asphalt here in Oregon. Perfect for our riding and exploring goals. Thanks for some great videos on the bike. Be safe.
Oregon here, too! Just got my Himalayan today and drove it from Eugene back home to Portland. 32 y/o and my 2nd bike and I can barely get to bed wanting to get back on the thing!
Id like to thank you for your reviews on the Himalayan. I am a newly licensed motorcyclist and I have been drawn to this bike since I first saw it at a local dealership. I have been watching countless reviews on the Himalayan and your reviews by far are the best and have helped me decide to make it my first motorcycle. Thank you and stay safe.
I have had a few issues with regard to manufacturing glitches, not all of them minor, but they have all been put right under warranty. In the past i would've got rid of it, but for some reason having been riding for 55 years on all sorts of stuff, i would forgive this little bike anything, i just love it and it gives me endless pleasure. I can't see me getting shot of it any time soon. Stay safe out there.
Seems like a number of your subscribers are from the Philippines! I’m from the Philippines too! Got my himalayan just last month, thank you for your informative videos!
Are you aware that the 2021 model is a bit different, and that here in the UK anyway, the price rose a little at the same time. Now the forward subframe rear angles have been changed to give more knee room, and the tubing looks a little bigger in diameter. In Euro 5 configuration we have a catalog lyric converter in the exhaust downpipe, not far from the head port. We also have Royal Enfield Tripper basic navigation device mounted on the right of the tach as standard. CEAT tyres instead of Pirelli MT60. The rear rack subframe looks a lot stronger and includes a flat top plate. UK price £5299 including the aluminium pannier set. Picking up mine in Granite Black tomorrow.
Excellent feedback on the Himalayan, Sir. Happy to know its fab at "doing easy" and offroading and your joy comes through about the bike.Wish you miles of joy.
Got mine back in 2018 with the carb still. It has taken me to so many places, on and off-road, and still enjoying it to this day. Love the camaraderie of the community of RE owners here in the Philippines. Glad it's catching on in your part of the world, too!
Have mine since april 15th last year; new rider, first bike; new; now 18.000 km’s with no problems at all. In less than a year here in south of the Netherlands, Ardennes and Eiffel area. Easy riding on and off road. Changed tyes in january at 15.000 km for Mitas MT07; (50/50) good behaveour on the road and a lot better in mud and gravel . Consider these instead of the stock Pirelli (60/40) if you do occassionally trail riding. Get on it... start engine, start smiling... ride... and keep smiling all the time. Riding the Himalayan last year kept me in a good mood in the past 12 months during lockdowns and curfues. And indeed.. the bike attrackts a lot of looks and compliments too. Speaking for myself ... the dealer here (150km away) is top nitch, passionate, dedicated, even delivered the bike at home last year. Good work and always friendly.
I understand you need a video channel to explain your feelings about this bike. It is a box of surprises. Mine has got 21K kms and it is amazing, I do not understand why people is not mad and queue in dealer shops to buy this incredible machine. Are bikers blind? I got this as a second bike for off-road, just for the price it would make it. God, how it surprised me! It is my first and only bike to commute, off-road, traveling, it is simply awesome. The main difference with other e.g. Chinese bikes (nothing against them of course, which many are very good) is experience, history, trade mark. This is a masterpiece full of character, a make with 100 years. You say in off-road shines... more than that, it humbly brights as sun. Cost-effective, trustworthy. If you understand its character, on road it is a rough, comfortable and pleasant machine. (I will need another channel to explain...) @RE: "Bravo!!!!". I am 55 years old and had several bikes. If you do lot of off-road, Ronin, try Mitas E-07. Makes a difference. Next ones I will try are Metzeler Tourance. Excellent videos, take care man, and thanks..............................
You sir are an inspiration, gentleman and scholar to a wanna be new rider riding the Himalayan. Love both your delivery, content and passion. Keep up the great work. I definitely subbed. Thank you.
Thank you ever so much for the kind words and for watching! I sincerely hope you have many great and fun years riding the Himalayan. Cheers & Subscribe!
To me it seem like the "Itchy Boots" effect has run it's course with these!!!! Seems like plenty of supply here in southern OH for the 2021's. One dealer has 7 in stock and the other has 4 last time I checked. Pretty sure the dealer up in Columbus has a few as well. Seems like sales have slowed down. With the being said, I am in the market for one and am trying to decide on a used one with some added bits, or new.
Noraly WAS a great spokesperson for RE, but she is now a Honda girl last two bikes. RE Marketing Dept has dropped the ball I fear both there and here. But what do I know???
@@OlManRonin Didn't mention it before but love the video's! I wish I lived closer where you are to some back country roads, and trails! Jealous! I have to ride out an hour and half to 2 hours to get the S.O.A.L route ( OH ADV riders GPX track) FB page. Rode out to Pike state ADV riding area on my WR250R a few weeks ago. A good hike on that bike.. LoL...
I bought the REH on the 2nd of April this year. Fully loaded along with panniers (all RE accessories) it cost me $3630 including insurance and road tax. Punjab state, India.
Hello from Greece!! Very very nice video !! Can I ask about the breaks and what type of tires do you recommend ? Also what is the average fuel consumtion ?
i have RE Classic Reborn 350, this is my first RE bike and i always feel like in heaven while riding this beauty. Soon i will have Himalyan in my Garage which will take me to Leh/Ladakh in Jun 2022.
I am from India and now we have BS6 bick. I own bullet 350. But himalya cost about 2 Lakh that is about 2691 USD. As BS6 now u gets abs with batter fule economy.
I don't have a Himalayan, I have an Africa Twin. I should have bought the Himalayan. I too, have developed new skills from my days on the Road King. I am a better rider now and I hope to get better as time passes. I enjoy you attitude towards motorcycling.
I've already decided to upgrade from my 125 to the Himalayan, only thing is here in Colombia we still don't even get the 2020 models yet, they're basically selling the 2019 one with 2020 colors and 2021 price. They're not super clear about it and the reason seems a mix of the Indian factories temporarily closing because the pandemic and the BS6 standard not being homologated yet. But this month they're launching the Meteor, so that should mean the BS6 models are finally allowed here. And more than the colors and tripper system (which are nice), my main reason to prefer a 2020 or 2021 model is the switchable ABS. Plus I do think is unfair they charge full 2021 price for a bike that's not really that model. Converted to USD it's only $4300, but that's several months of my salary down here, so I'm giving it a couple more months to see if they finally update their offer.
Anyone know if the gearbox will handle port, polish, 462, 477 jug, cam, clutch upgrade. Haven't fig out if the cam mod works with the larger displacement. That should fix the interstate speed, power problem if the gearbox is strong enough. Would be nice to know if anyone has done it. If it had problems?
Kid at the bike shop thinks gear box will handle more power. Clutch is probably the limiting factor. That has to be upgraded. Clutch probably hits the limit of upgrade first. I ended up not buying one. Nearly took it home. Ended up with T7 instead of the Himalayan. Still like the Himalayan enough to buy one that needs some work in the future. Factors were mainly to much weight adding up on the Himalayan to tour on it for 7,000 miles or more on TAT, BDRs,. Some highways in between with steep grades 65 to 75 mph limits. The Himalayan would be doing 55 or 60 at best on. Thanks to you and others for the videos for research. Kind of wishing I had the Himalayan in hand with the extra $10,000 or more in the bank after mods than a T7 on order. 10 more HP, one more gear or 125 less pounds I would own a Himalayan today!
OL Man Himalayan is not that expensive in India. $2,728.36 = ₹2 lakhs( Approx) is the price in India. Most probably cost of shipping is more. That's the problem of US tarrifs man, they made this bike quite expensive. Maybe anti-dumping duties were put on Himlayan.
Years ago I read a story obout motorcycle touring in the Himalayan mountains. You would ride a 350 cc street bike. In the story were how these street bikes were tough. So this bike you ride was designed and built with knowledg3 of what works. I'm "antsy" for the 650 version.
or are you just realising having a bigger bike means you're compensating for something? just kidding. Its not the size that counts, its the s**t eating grin the bike produces when you ride it thats the biggest factor
Hi Ol' man, I'm following you from Argentina and I enjoy very much your videos, also learning a bunch of new things about motorcycles. Even I'm old (think older than you ...) I'm new in the motorcycle's world. I'v just bought an Honda XR190L but I think pretty soon will change it for an Himalayan, as a bonus Royal Enfield are mounting motorcycles here in Argentina with parts coming from India.
Hey Ronin, Just picked up my Himalayan on Tuesday. I knew I'd love it the first time I saw one in Hoian Vietnam in 2019. With the pandemic, and not getting to rent bikes around the world, I decided I'd just own one here in Korea. So far, it's really quite nice. Sublime at 40mph. Such a chill cruiser. Thanks for the videos.
I bought the 2021 edition of Himalayan. It has decent working GPS navigator. I love it lil changes except it's clutch lever is lil hard. It costed me 3340 usd in india.
I"m in Cambodia. They just got into the Asian trading group a few years back. This made many bikes made in India, really good value here. A royal enfield dealership has opened up in Phnom Pehn so I've been looking into the Himalayan. In India it can be picked up at the dealership for about 2200 USD. In England, about 5500USD, In Australia over 6000USD. In India if you ask me it is a bargain. The only difference as I understand it, is the export models are fuel injected for emissions compliance. You can't register an Indian made one in Holland for example (Itchy Boots channel). I don't know what part of the process is responsible for the doubling of price, but it is a rip off if you ask me. If you are in Australia, due to the higher purchase prices and of everything you will need a mechanic or bike shop to do with these things, they are an over valued luxury bike for what they are. It would be a great bike here, as I've found Bajaj's to be very good value here over the last few years. But I wouldn't own a Bajaj, in a non Asian country. In Australia for example: Due to the amount of mileage you run up on vehicles, the performance requirements of highway running and the extra servicing they need, as they are not as reliable as jap bikes, make them rubbish. All things are relative. If you can get a royal enfield for the right price and parts and service are cheap, go for it.
I don't think there are carburetted versions of Himalayan in India as it is mandatory for every motorcycle manufactured in India to be fuel injected. Maybe I am wrong. My friend owns one and although it doesn't have an auto-choke, it is FI.
@@TheShukladhvaj You are most likely correct. I don't remember where I got the idea it had a different fuel system. I looked at this video from Itchy Boots channel again and I think all the rules and regulations adding cost to things in western countries are actual more pervasive than I first though. watch from about the 2min 40 second mark and you will get the general idea. th-cam.com/video/phtlcrvc5ZI/w-d-xo.html
@@TheShukladhvaj I think this clip was where I got the carburetor idea from. From about the 1.15 minute mark, the guy talks about a carby model BS4 and changes and improvements made to the BS6 and for export models. th-cam.com/video/pdMi_G0Bx4I/w-d-xo.html
Love the channel. As a tall and bigger guy, I really think you would like the RE Touring Seat. It distributes weight so much better and is super comfortable. At $50 or so shipped, it's well worth the investment.
Wanted one but couldn't find any for sale that wasn't further than 150 miles one way in every direction anyway made a deal on a honda 250 had several small bikes over the years love them all, but it's a joy to just hop on a little bike, but will be looking for a royal enfield
I just installed the Adventure Double Take Mirrors on my Hima and it was a night and day difference. The factory mirrors are garbage for seeing anything.
Greetings from Gdynia (Poland). I have a Yamaha Tenere 660 and now I am looking for my second bike. I think the Himalayan will be the perfect choice for me. Thank you!
Would the cleaner oil be because of the lower revs?..less abuse in the cylinder, and lower temperatures? I'm no rocket scientist, but I imagine that high rev bikes create more friction and heat. That's why it is important to use the proper oil for a particular machine. Oils lubricate best when they reach the proper temperature, and that temp could be different for different types and weights of oil. So, this makes me wonder, if the oil is cleaner, am I getting more internal wear due to lack of viscosity, or...can oil reach It's proper viscosity and still look clean? Another thought,...when you say clean oil, are you talking about the color if it, or the amount gunk and bits in it? Maybe Ol Man Ronin will do a video on this topic.
@@tangoindiamike9189 My experience is exactly that. Why I run higher viscosity oils in summer or if I'm running at faster rpms. Heat kills oil and frequent oil changes extend the life of oil and engine
@@tangoindiamike9189 fort9’s video was about pre-first service oil and factory contamination. It’s pretty good, and fort9 is the only other motorcycle TH-camr I subscribe to, other than Ronin, of course! You should check it out.
“Supply and Demand” at the dealer end is otherwise known as ‘Price Gouging’. I don’t charge more for my pottery when it starts running low at an art-fair.
Great video. Any thoughts on motor maintenance? Is it like the old BSA 441, pushrod type of single, or OHC? My concern is I do not want a bike I have to "mech on" all the time. Cheers.
I don't know that this question has been asked. I have a section of highway that I get to spend about 40 minutes at 85mph or get run over (1 hour commute). What is the effective top speed of this motorcycle. Is there a kit to bring this up to be able to run that part of my commute? Or get a different bike? Your thoughts?
85mph?? no way the Himalayan will do that. If you need a bike that will accomplish those kind of speeds I'd check out the Harley, Pan America, BMV GS, Triumph Tiger, or Honda Africa Twin
@@joehillbilly They will by all means do it easier. But 650 cc and 85mph is still on the upper end of its performance for long term riding. Passing speeds no worries, but the higher rpms on that engine will push it
@@OlManRonin thanks for the excellent channel and quick replies. AZ highways around Phoenix are unforgiving and 85 is common. 75 on the highways closer in to the city.
Great video as usual I get my R.E. Himalayan Adventure on the 17th so will be able to relate about how you feel riding this machine Great for driving around Scotland
Glad you still loving the Himmy. I do a lot of off road, so I changed my tyres at 2000km to the Mitas E07 Dakar front and E07 Plus on rear. Fantastic tyres.
I own the best of two worlds right now. Both Kawasaki W800 and a concourse. Both perfect bikes for me for choice of riding and want that off road and quick shopping mule bike to polish off my collection. Only issue is, no dealerships less then 250 miles away from where I live. Any opinions
depends, if you're handy with a wrench then buying a bike from miles away is no issue. If not, then its better to find something that will fit your needs. I found that stuff turns up in the strangest places, especially when you're not expecting it. Good luck in your quest
@@OlManRonin you might have me buying this bike earlier then I would like to. I own the two bikes I stated, and a 22 year old truck that keeps me safe on days that heavy rain or snow. Ride almost every day for work as I am a PT that rides 60 miles a day. Some highway and half that is rural roads. But thank you for what you have offered. I am also interested in your food truck business. Mexitalian! Both cheap ingredients that I don't see that in the infusion in restaurants. Just my idea, spaghetti and meat balls ( small balls) in a taco with a kick.
Hi man! Love from India! Have been following you for sometime now and I just loved the way you have put together your thoughts in this video! It's relatable, quite a bit...I too have been owning the Himalayan for two years now...and I think the only substitute to a Himalayan would be a Himalayan itself, as and when it arrives...though not quite sure how the 450 is gonna fare since it's supposedly going to be a high-compression engine and probably will be suspended stiffer given the kind of performance it would offer... but, this motorcycle, the LS 411 is a gem, I agree with you on that! It's probably not the best motorcycle your money could buy but yeah, I haven't had so much of a strong emotional connect with any motorcycle from the long list of them I have owned prior to this bike...I have owned some Hondas too and they are bulletproof, to say the least... but, again, this might not be the most reliable, most refined motorcycle but it's imperfectly perfect and there in lies the beauty of it! Haha! I could rant on n on when it comes to talking motorcycles, but tbh, I really admire your work...have watched a few other videos too! Am gonna watch the recorded 450 live-stream next! Keep up man! Wish you lots of happy miles on motorcycles of different genres and sizes! 😇

I always compare them to an AR15...when I got an AR many years ago, I was always swapping and upgrading rails, grips, sights, trigger groups, scopes....it is the exact same with the Himalayan...added hand guards, engine guards, getting the pannier racks, panniers, upgrading the plug, wires, and boot...want to get the oil cooler and rear master guards, mud guard riser, tank bag, front rail bags or gas cans.....I am sure there is more....LOL....lego's for grown ups....LOL

In India they also use sometimes cheaper parts for the local market bikes, like a ukranian injection pump instead of the japanese one in the export model; Tyres too, Indian tyres tend to be harder, have lower grip.

I think "Itchy Boots" who bought one in India about 18 months ago said it cost the equivalent of about $2,500 in India! If I ever go to India all I am packing is my riding gear and a set of the improved Brembo brake pads from Hitchcocks here in England which apparently sort the brake issue !

Welcome Ian and thank you
Have mine since april 15th last year; new rider, first bike; new; now 18.000 km’s with no problems at all.
Thats awesome and welcome to riding and the channel!!

To me it seem like the "Itchy Boots" effect has run it's course with these!!!! Seems like plenty of supply here in southern OH for the 2021's. Came here from Her2wheels. Picked this video as I was thinking of the Himalayan.

Thank you Gerald!!!
Not alot on line or from Techs to know. Are you the first? 😉
Hi its good to know the Royal Enfield is doing good in the US.
I have a 2021 Himalayan B6. I can live with the 411cc single popper engine, but I'd really like a 6th gear. Else, love it.
Agree with you, for a 6th gear !
There is a 463cc upgrade. It moves the upper end of the torque curve to about 4500 rpm. This might help.
Years ago I read a story obout motorcycle touring in the Himalayan mountains. You would ride a 350 cc street bike. In the story were how these street bikes were tough. So this bike you ride was designed and built with knowledg3 of what works. I'm "antsy" for the 650 version.
I totally agree with you; riding a smaller capacity bike made me change how I ride the bigger one.
Awesomeness thanks Mike
Same here 👍
or are you just realising having a bigger bike means you're compensating for something? just kidding. Its not the size that counts, its the s**t eating grin the bike produces when you ride it thats the biggest factor
Just bought mine today... Can't wait to get out there. Rubber side down my friends.

I bought the 2021 edition of Himalayan. It has decent working GPS navigator. I love it lil changes except it's clutch lever is lil hard. It costed me 3340 usd in india.
Thanks so very much for watching my friend. Cheers

Checkout fort nine video on first oil change. RE had the cleanest oil
Annandale i have an oil change video coming as well.

@@OlManRonin do you think the re 650's are up to the task? No I'm not stuck on getting a Himalaya, but I definitly appreciate re's efforts.
@@joehillbilly They will by all means do it easier. But 650 cc and 85mph is still on the upper end of its performance for long term riding. Passing speeds no worries, but the higher rpms on that engine will push it

depends, if you're handy with a wrench then buying a bike from miles away is no issue.
I picked up my 2020 himalayan today first impressions the seat is like a plank of wood other than that its spot on. Thanks for youir review it helped me alot.
Love your VLog while riding and watching sceneries beside roads.... Your ride is excellent and describing bike details while ridding is a class part.... You continue with your videos like this..... Love from 🇮🇳
RE Himalayan is the AK47 of bikes, simple and reliable 👍
Good analogy
I always compare them to an AR15...when I got an AR many years ago, I was always swapping and upgrading rails, grips, sights, trigger groups, scopes....it is the exact same with the Himalayan...added hand guards, engine guards, getting the pannier racks, panniers, upgrading the plug, wires, and boot...want to get the oil cooler and rear master guards, mud guard riser, tank bag, front rail bags or gas cans.....I am sure there is more....LOL....lego's for grown ups....LOL
@@chicknman72 AR15 does not work in mud though
@@chicknman72 lol great comparison lol
@@wolfpack3590 neither does a Himalayan with stock tires.....LOL..
