Camtaia, of course. 😄👍 ...hey, does upping the frame per second from 30 to 60 noticeable to viewers you think?
I notice it when creating video tutorials that have zoom and pan animations.... they're much smoother at 60 fps than 30 fps. But I don't notice it in the camera recordings, so I record those at 30 fps.
Camtasia....
Hello dear Rob. Camtasia...

Thank you! I'm starting a bee channel soon and there's so much to learn! You make video and intro editing look so easy. I don't have Camtasia yet due to budget but hopefully I'll have it by next week.
Thanks again for a great video.
Best of luck with it!
It`s realy work
Very practical good clear advice. I'd like to see how camtaisa templates are constructed/ designed.👍🏻
I will add "Camtasia Templates" to my list of videos to create :-)
Awesome
I really liked you
Great video! I use Premiere Pro as well but this looks a lot more user-friendly and easier to learn.
Thanks Jordan! I've got Premiere Pro as well, I just find it difficult to learn... and I've been using Camtasia so long, it's hard to change. The right tool for the job is the one you're going to use!
I agree, Premiere Pro can be intimidating... much like most of Adobe’s software lol
I use Adobe Premiere Pro but It looks like animating in Camtasia is super easy! Great video keep it up 👍🏻
Thank you! You can't go wrong with Premiere Pro... but Camtasia is definitely easy to use!
all workеd

Hi Rob - When you're back, would you tell us about the suggestions that TH-cam talks about to make the video more desirable? like mention with a "@", thumbnail (I knew how to do that at one time), Add video to playlists, automatic chapters, places, shorts sampling, categories.....? Thanks
Great idea! I'm getting much closer to be able to start back up making videos and doing live streams... and part of the last few months has been me trying to sort out the best direction to go with this channel...
Awesome tutorial. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

Thanks so much. Useful Video.
Is that Music used in Camtasia Audio Library? What's the name of the Audio in question? I like it.
I think I got that music from Storyblocks.com at the time... that was over 3 years ago that I made this video, and I believe Storyblocks is what I had a subscription to at the time. I can't seem to find it now... but if you search for "Upbeat Corporate" you may be able to find it or something similar. I hope that helps :-)
@6:00 Can you use a font you have installed on your PC instead? Like some other open source font?
Yes, absolutely... any font you have installed on your PC will show up there in that font drop down. Also, if you do add new fonts to your PC while Camtasia is open, I believe you'll have to restart Camtasia before the fonts will show up there :)
Grear video. Just wonder where you got the sound and where to download that specila sound . It's reat
The music I used was from storyblocks.com... where members can download and use royalty free music :)
Would you do a video for "Add an End Screen" on You Tube? thanks
I will add it to my list :-)
Love you and subscribe your channel
Hey Rob! Your tutorials are great, but I have a very basic Sync problem maybe you can point me in a direction. I'm editing an Interview video shot by someone else. The Sound was recorded on a separate device, and I've had problems with sync. We determined the frame rate it was recorded (24), and that's working, but we're just a few frames off sync.
I just want to slide the audio track incrementally to match the slate, but I'm not finding any instruction on how to do that!
I'm hoping you (or one of your knowledgeable followers on here) can let me know the best way to do this...I know it's gotta be a simple process, I'm just getting frustrated and decided to reach out!
Thank you, anything will be much appreciated!
Here's what you do... if they aren't already, make sure the audio and video are separated on separate tracks (and not grouped together). Place the playhead exactly where you want your audio to snap to... you can be super precise and move the playhead 1 frame at a time with the comma (,) and period (.) keys. Then grab your audio track and snap it to the new location. It may take some trial and error to get it exactly in the right spot... but that's how I do it :)
how can i put a effect on my video like Scrach with white or like most videos on tiktok,
Can you show me an example of the effect?
Hi Rob - how does one 'trash' a video off of Camtasia? I have some that are partial or some I wasn't happen with, just want to get off the 'template' on that new 2022 listing of videos. thanks
Oops. Not Templates, the Projects on that Welcome page.
I'm not sure how to get projects removed from the opening welcome screen of Camtasia... I just ignore those and ALWAYS click "New Project" when I open Camtasia... then if there's a project I want to work on that I had previously saved, I'll open it using "File > Import... > Zipped Project". But that will only work if you SAVED your project using "File > Export... > Zipped Project".... which I always do :-)
What is the appropriate size to make a graphic background for an intro or any other static graphic? In Photoshop Elements I'm making them 8x8 at 300 dpi. Is this sufficient? Thanks
It depends on what resolution your video is going to be. If you're making a video that's 1920 x 1080 (which is 1080p), then I would make your graphic background 1920 x 1080 pixels. I'm not that familiar with PhotoShop Elements myself... but when I hear "300 dpi" that's "dots per inch" which is typically a measure used when designing something that's going to be printed. So if you have a way to change that measurement setting to "px" or "pixels" and set it to 1920 x 1080... that's what I would do :-)
@@RobtheMaritimer thanks
I do not see 'Library' in my Camtasia program.....
I believe it was Camtasia 2021 that I used in this video 2 years ago. Today I'm using Camtasia 2023 on a Mac, and the Library is in a different location. Click on Media in the left menu, then you'll see 3 icons at the top... Media Bin, Camtasia Assets and Library... click the third icon to get to the Library :-)
When one saves their intro, then can it be accessed from where it is on the desktop by the Media bin and then brought down into the time line and be all set to go? ie can cmproj s be brought into a Camtasia project.??? Seems like I saw that somewhere! thanks
If you want to use the same intro in multiple projects/videos, there's a couple things you can do. 1) you can save it as a template and then have it available to drag down to your timeline of a new project. Or 2) you can open the video project you want to copy from, highlight the elements in the timeline you want to reuse, CTRL-C to copy them, then open the new project you want to use them in, and CTRL-V to paste them. The "template" method is probably quicker... but I actually use a third way... I will often start a new project by opening an old one, and renaming it as the new one... then I'm starting a project that has several elements in it that I want to reuse, including the intro.... and other things like highlights with a specific fade effect, etc. I hope that helps!
awesome, this was going to be my question@@RobtheMaritimer . Thank you, saving a lot of time!!
Ok, very helpful, but you didn't show how to save it! As a new user, I'm stumped!
Sorry about that! I actually don't use templates... I simply save projects that have an intro in them already, and when I'm starting a new project with the same intro, I start by opening the old project and saving it under a new name! Using templates would probably be much more efficient ;)
I need cool music for my videos. What do you recommend?
I personally use www.storyblocks.com (used to be Audioblocks.com) for all my background music and sound effects. You can easily search for the type of music you want :)
@@RobtheMaritimer thanks
How do you save this as a template?
I'm working on an updated video that will describe the exact process and it should be out next week. In the meantime, once you have your project file ready for saving as a template, just go up to the top menu, click FILE > Save Project As Template. That's what it looks like on a Mac... it should be similar if you're on a PC. I hope that helps :-)
@@RobtheMaritimer thanks a mil Rob.
Struggling with my channel intro. Any suggestions for it?
I'm not exactly sure what problem you're having... what do you mean by "channel intro"? My video was about creating a "video intro" and how to do so using Camtasia. Are you referring to a youtube channel intro video?
@@RobtheMaritimer I meant my TH-cam channel intro video. Seeking to improve it.
Ah ok! Well, I've never really approached the channel intro video as any different from any other video on a channel. In fact what I do, is every couple of times a post a new video, I make that one the one that shows as the channel intro video... just so people see my latest content. Trying to get people to subscribe to a channel from a generic intro video is certainly one strategy... but I tend to think of each video I produce as a standalone advertisement to my channel... and if they like the content of that video, then they'll subscribe. I guess what I'm saying is I don't really think it's necessary to have a separate video that is just a channel intro. Most people aren't going to find your channel first anyways... they'll first find a video of yours in youtube... and then if they like it, they may click to view your channel. But your videos themselves is where I think is the best place to advertise your channel and requesting people subscribe to it. Having said all that, you have more subscribers than I do... so keep that in mind when taking my advice lol! ;)
How do you save the entire intro to reuse it?
Oh I see now. Thank you.
Awesome! Let me know if you have any other questions :-)
How to remove background voice from entire audio in one click .?
I've never found an effective way to remove background noise from audio in one click... however, with Adobe Audition, there are a few different noise removal tools that can be effective :-)
I use a free program called Audacity for audio processing. It has a noise reduction tool :)
Well idk he is giving out free hacks
You keep saying "professional LOOKING video". What do you mean by that???? Camtasia does create professional videos!
You are correct :)
So informative, thanks a lot!
This soft worked nicely, thanks a lot buddy
