Was watching Scottish comedy series Still Game on Netflix (highly recommend) just last night and one old guy says to the other, “SCRAN time!”, as they go to fill their plates. I love muffins. I’ve tried making them homemade and they’re delicious but a little too dense, I think from over mixing. I also have a hard time getting muffin tops. This recipe would be really good with pumpkin too!!

I like this method its easy and looks good . BTW in the recipe you say 2 cups of flour is 300g but that's not true one cup of flour is 120g so the right materials are 240g

sadly the chocolate chips did not melt and would be much better if it was. why are using baking soda instead of baking powder? there is no acidic in this recipe so why use soda? anyway, its just a decent recipe not that impressive.

I just put them in the oven! I made a double batch of batter and used large muffin wrappers, I got 18. Can't wait for them to come out of the oven. 😋
