- I recently ordered Joe Szabo's Arcade1Up Terminator 2 Acrylic Marquee replacement for our T2 Cabinet and Joe let me know he would send me the marquee that I paid for along with his Midway Stickers and Acrylic Lighted Topper for the purpose of review. Everything is sized correctly and looks pretty damn good on this Arcade1Up T2 Arcade Cabinet! Let's check it out!

Patrick, the Midway decals have clear transfer tape on them,them, after you have them installed on the cabinet you can remove the clear transfer tape on top.

I looked up the Terminator 2 topper. I will wait for the high quality lower priced card stock version for $35 to become available. When it becomes available I will place my order immediately. It is unfortunate there is only the acrylic version available. The topper with no light is $90 after shipping and tax. The light up topper is $120 after shipping and tax.

Thanks PDubs, I love his replacement marquee and decals. Not a fan of the topper though, TBH. I had one of his toppers for SF II and it warped. The adhesive on the plastic bracket also loosened and it fell off the top of my cabinet. Not real happy about that...

I have a Szabo topper for my Attack From Mars pinball and it definitely makes the machine. It's not cheap, but it looks incredible. Sure looks like Szabo nailed the additions for T2.

I know that this is a new item and it is probably easy to fulfill new orders for reviews quicker, but there are several of us still waiting on orders for older items on your site for orders we placed late Q3 / early Q4 2021 that we still haven't received. I don't want to come across as a complainer but the old orders really should be the priority instead of rushing new products out to friends with channels, right?
@@mikehawk-hertz8668 Agree 100% (and FWIW I don't have a standing order) I've seen TH-camrs get items rushed to them before from many sellers while the sellers websites have pop ups urging the patience to customers that orders may take 4 weeks or more. No fault to the TH-camrs (like PDubs) but not good biz practice by various sellers IMO.

The topper is nice, but it’s from Terminator 3. It would be a lot better and more fitting if it was actually from an endo scene in T2 or even a battle damaged Arnold from the end of T2.

Given the price of the 1up t2 and adding a subwoofer i was really on the fence about joes topper and marquee beings there a bit on the pricy side. I'm really glad i went ahead and ordered them anyway. There stunning! This cab is one i'll never sell and that topper takes it to a whole new level. It's also gonna be a badass night light. Thanks for another great video.

I ordered my topper first day it hit. Love my Attack from Mars one. As for the marquee, I don’t want to take this machine apart. Ughhh. Wish there was a way to pop it out and pop new one in.
Yep - you have to take it off to get it in there without breaking it. It's worth it.

I'm not a fan of the topper on the cabinet because the cab is so square and this one is rounded. BUT I would totally buy it for a room display piece because it looks 1:1 scale!! The marquee is excellent!!!

Hey Pdubs a little off-topic I love the video though probably gonna get my marquee from Szabos..so I missed the ms Pac-Man cabinet it’s now sold out everywhere but I found two people on eBay who have the one with the custom riser & lit marquee.. but they want 650 with shipping I got the guy to come down to 650 total with shipping included which is still a lot for that cabinet but I’m in love with the look of the Ms Pac-Man cabinet I think it’s amazing!…but class of 81’ has MsPac-Man, Wi-Fi, more games & it’s on sale for 500.. stuck on what to do I really like the Ms. Pac-Man look better though🙃

I think I’m gonna go with the class of 81’…Amazon has it for $500 & it’s the best version that has that panel under the control deck with artwork that some of them don’t & it looks bad ass!… i’m sure I’ll be really happy with it…I’m not the class of 81’ but I was born in 1981 so thats kind of cool..(Not a huge fan of the front riser panel artwork might have to black that out as the real machine did not have that I believe)…& I’m definitely going to get that Retro530 Marquee!!..& a real coin door kick plate panel from Tulsa Arcades!! (although I’ll have to get a new set of artwork & somehow install it with that coin door maybe I can take it off..put the graphic on & then stick it back on not sure)….thanks so much PDubs!!🔥🔥👊✌️

Is the version of the marquee in your video the $38 "translite material" or the $60 "reverse mounted on 1/8" acrylic"?
Link is in the video description. When you select T2 Joe will send you the exact same one I have which is the reverse printed acrylic because it has to be this one for the T2 cabinet. All the other 1up marquees are different except this one because you are not mounting this on top of the existing marquee that you peeled, this is a complete swap

Looks great as does all of Szabo's work but PDubs you should take into consideration that you are receiving service that his normal customers are not receiving. The problem is they keep releasing new products when in actuality, unless you are a TH-camr, you are still waiting on your products from early fall 2021, Szabo's is about 4-6 months behind on processing orders from last year and should really stop taking orders until he gets caught up. The items I'm still waiting on were for a mod I've finished months ago with alternative art from other vendors (placed order with Szabo's in September 2021). Truth is, unless you are a VIP like PDubs or a TH-camr with lots of subscribers, you don't get preferential treatment from Szabos so don't plan on ever including any of his products in your mod unless it is something you have 6 months to wait on. Hopefully he gets caught up soon, this T2 topper looks like something I normally would have jumped on!
Hey Mike I can respect that feedback and appreciate you. Joe does great work and I myself have had to wait a couple months for products that I ordered that weren't for the purpose of review but when they showed up the wait was worth it. I hope he gets caught up so everyone has a great experience
First I want to thank you for your order. Me keeping up is always an issue. I work 16 hrs a day trying to fulfill orders best I can an it’s just not enough. I wish there where more then 24 hrs in a day honestly. As far as new products in this an any industry you have to stay current an with new products to keep sparking interest it’s a hard balance to manage for sure. I do wish I could make all orders fulfilled faster but honestly with me doing it myself an that is how I feel I can keep the products quality at there highest level it’s just not fast enough. I turn down more jobs in a day of people wanting custom work I hate that I have to I just can’t do it all. Not a day goes by that the stress of not being able to satisfy all my customers doesn’t really bother me.
I think Joe's stuff is the best of the best, but it comes at a price. For Canadian buyers who need to add another 25-28% plus very pricey shipping it gets extremely costly.
There is no argument on how good his stuff is. He uses every bit of his talents. The true test is how things look in the dark and as you did a great job of showing in ur video, he knocks it out of the park.

Szabos is the worst I ordered 2 months ago and nothing. 4 toppers from China would have come quicker! Retro 350 rocks they get you your order out fast and their products are amazing!
I support all the aftermarket guys plenty of retro530 stuff on my channel. Joe does have the slowest turnaround
