Question about Interior Ceramic, does it actually block UV? From what I've read, exterior ceramic coatings don't actually block UV, but rather protect clear coat from oxidation, which in turn preserves the clear coat's ability to block UV.
I've tried 5/3 stack and 8/3 stack. I prefer the 5/3 for that gloss and it certainly has an interesting feel to it. It's almost "soft" if that makes any sense. Thanks for including my white Jeep. I just stripped the gyeon mohs evo off and put 5/3 on a few weeks ago haha.
I wonder if 2 coats of the 5 year would provide more gloss than the 5/3 stack? Also I was considering Gyeon Pure Evo as it apparently has fantastic candy like gloss, which would have better gloss Gyeon Pure Evo or the 5/3 stack?
@@KostaPagoniou 1st question: I don't believe 2 coats would do you much good for 5 year but if you're only doing one vehicle and don't want to buy 5 + 3 coatings then it might be worth a shot to do 2 coats if ya want. Haven't tried so can't confirm. 2nd question: Mohs Evo was easy to apply and was gorgeous in the sun as well. Easier to apply than 5 year imo (not that 5 was super difficult either but Mohs has a bleeding effect that was easy in my conditions). Mohs also doesn't have as long of a durability (3 years on 1 coat, 4 years at 2 coats) if you care about that. They both were amazingly glossy and slick. I couldn't say which is glossier but Mohs is a more clear "cool" candy look and if you slide your finger on the paint (if well maintained) it won't drag at all. First few washes after coating my wash pad flew off the paint. 5/3 is more of a deeper wet look and makes the clearcoat look thicker (if that makes sense) but just as smooth to touch as Mohs. Like I said tho it's slick but almost "softish" feeling. Hard to explain. I don't think you can go wrong imo. I would say depends on budget, preference for look, and durability claims. Mohs lasted 3 years on 1 coat for me in Wisconsin well maintained so id say worth the money. Can't say anything yet for diy 5/3 lasting

can you stack 5 year with c6?
No benefits
Would my ceramic diy 5 coating go to waste if i don’t wash it after a week . I have so much work to do that not enough time to do mine
No, but wash it at least every 2 weeks
@@diydetailofficial ok , because there was bird dumpings on the roof and it was in the hot sun then we had a down poor and i was stressed it could have ruined the coating. O have a lot of house projects. Busy with one.
So i need to wash it with in the next week or so . I might just crack at it today after the project. Can i use rinsless wash on it then dry it with diy plush towels. .
@@diydetailofficial Thank You!

Good choice
Has anyone tried the 8-5 stack?
Pretty sure, they're saying that it's useless to do that
Not a good idea, you won’t get any additional performance
If you have a matte paint protection film on a red car and want to extend the life of the PPF do you recommend a 8/3 stack?
Yes
Good day one @ all

Can I coat 1 panel per day. Due to my health, I don't have the energy and want to polished the panel with the gold standard, then do the 3-5 stack. Can you advise, please
