Hurricane Milton is so powerful that they considered making it a category 6. I remember Andrew blowing away my house years ago. If I were in Tampa, I woud get out of there while you still can.

The mayor did not say that you might die. In the areas she was discussing, she said you WILL die. Get out now! Or as another official recommended, get a sharpie and write your name on your arm so recovery teams will know who they found.

This will be weird not seeing reporters at the beach during a hurricane, but glad they are not going to be stupid in where to be. Have a submersible drone as the water goes over to record what happens if you had stayed.

What the government needs to do is bring interest rates down to 2% again so people in North Carolina, Tennessee and in Florida can get the money they need to rebuild there lives or to buy new property so there bot homeless. @BarbStewart-x8h stay there during the storm and tell us if they were overreacting. I stayed during Helene and watched my whole community get flooded, and a couple of houses catch fire all night. Grow up!
