I really enjoyed your video. I just purchased the E7 Plus. I wish I would have seen your video before purchase to use your code. I still have to assemble and am a little worried as I am not very handy with building stuff. I feel more confident having watched you build the frame. Great job.
No No No thank you! My girlfriend and I each just each purchased the Flexispot E7 Plus (frame only) using your product code. Thanks for the $50 off! @@JosephKim
Thanks to your detailed end to end video I just made my own desk! Same wood (thanks for the link), Old Masters flat water based poly, and I used the Flexispot E7 Pro. It's great to have such a nice wood desk that also allows me to stand. Thanks again!
Great video! Thanks for the detailed walk through! I am concerned about how the electronics will hold up over the years, though I guess time will tell. Acacia is a relatively soft wood. Have you seen dings or scratches with how you finished it?
I am extremely careful on my desk as I know the wood and the finish is not the most robust material. It makes handling products on my desk a bit of challenge, but I love the look. I do use a desk mat normally to protect it from day to day wear and I have not had much dings or scratches. If I drop a phone or a camera I'm sure it will damage it 😂
Hey, buddy! I found you about the keyboard video, I have exactly the same needs as you for a keyboard, mechanics, brown switches, full block of numbers, multimedia. What kind of keyboard do you end up using? I've been using SteelSeries Apex 7 for a long time it's great, but my fingers started getting sore from it because it's too tight on the blue switches. So I'm looking for a solution and I've settled on the G915, but I realize that I don't need the extra macro keys and will get in the way. Or Keychron K5 SE, I see you are still using it, right?
I plan to get a standing desk and use with an under desk treadmill. Also I am on carpet. Would you say it's worth it to get a 4 leg over a 2 leg? Flexispot sale + 15% code means I can get the E7 Plus for $550, and the cheaper 2 leg E5 would be $300
Is your floor elevated? (second floor or over crawl space) then you will see lots of movement that no desk can accommodate as your floor will move. Mine is on second floor and have lots of stuff mounted making it it more wobbly. But I would probably go for 4 leg as I will end up bumping into the desk a lot on the treadmill.
@@JosephKim Yes I would be on the second floor, and on carpet. I would also prefer to mount my monitors for adjustability. I guess the 4 legs would be worth the extra cost?
Not at all. I'm not 100% sure which is the part you are referring as the support beam of the frame, but no portion of the desk comes in contact of the chair.

Oh, you will do fine! It's not that hard. And you will get the sense of achievement which I enjoyed!
I got to say thank you for making a thorough video. I really appreciate showing a full assembly and alignment of a desk.
My pleasure!
Great video! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this video.
And thank you for watching :)

After having the Flexispot E7 plus for a bit now, How would you say it performs on carpet?@@JosephKim
Not sure as I am not using on a carpet. But I've been loving it!

I’ve been watching your videos for several months now, but I never had a chance to subscribe until now. I think this is the right time to do it!
Haha, thank you!
Solid review with good coverage on the front to back shake which is really important if you have stacked monitors

About to upgrade my top to a similar butcher block. what screws did you use to attach?
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing this. Does this also have a lot of shake from front to back when the desk is at standing height?
It has the least amount of front to back shake for all desks I've tried.
@@JosephKim I appreciate your response!
wouldve loved to see more of and know where u got the case underneath your desk that holds the computer tower
It's one from iMovR, but you can get similar mount from Amazon.
You have a very unique way of speaking. Slow and pauses inbetween.
@@coreanstacker5427 people generally complain that I talk too slow. But I can't help it 🤣
@@JosephKim no it's absolutely great and very good to follow ❤️
Great video! Wantednto ask if you have noticed any sort of sag/lean towards the back afterbhaving everything mounted.
Not at all!
how did you mount your desktop tower the desk?
I used a mount. Not the same, but similar to this: amzn.to/4dO0oL8

@@JosephKim What switches you prefer, stay with brown?
@@nerual_dreming yep! I tried both red and blue, but brown seems to meet my taste.
@@JosephKim Razer DeathStalker V2 Seems interesting, perhaps you've had experience with it? I'm thinking of giving it a try.
What was your favorite two leg desk for front to back stability?
IMovR's Lander was quite solid. But not as solid as 4 leg.
Thanks for the video! How big was the drill bit used for the pilot holes?
I forget the exact size! But you should always look at the stem of the screw, not the threads. I often go one size smaller just in case.

140 oooooooOOO they are up to 250 by me, i havent decided between birch or not yet though.
Birch is good too!
Hi! What mount are you using to have your insta 360 webcam on?
It is mixture of things. F38 quick release+regular ball head mounted to a monitor arm. (you have to disassemble the arm head)
what pc mount are you using?
I've inherited one from iMovR. I've tried several ones over the years, but am yet to find one that is really really good.
Is it the same model as QS2 of Flexispot?
I don't think so.
