I was having so much suicidal thoughts 10 years ago as a teenage, also suffered severe anxiety and mental disorder. I got diagnosed with bipolar, spent my whole life fighting bipolar. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment changed my life for better. I can proudly say i'm totally clean for 6 years and still counting. Always look to nature for solution to tough problems, Shrooms are phenomenal.

I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.

Hey mates! Can you help with the source? I suffer severe anxiety, panic and depression and I usually take prescription medicine, but they don't always help. Where can I find those psilocybin mushrooms? I'm really interested in treating my mental health without Rxs. I live in Australia don't know much about these. I'm so glad they helped you. I can't wait to get them too. Really need a reliable source 🙏

I'm so very happy for you mate, Psilocybin is absolutely amazing, the way it shows you things, the way it teaches you things. I can not believe our world and our people shows less interest about it's helpfulness to humanity. It's love. The mushrooms heals people by showing the truth, it would be so beneficial for so many people, especially politicians and the rich who have lost their way and every other persons out there.

DMT, LSD, and psilocybin mushrooms are truly remarkable. A few years back, I was grappling with severe depression and mental health issues, and was diagnosed with BPD. It wasn't until a friend suggested psilocybin mushrooms that things began to change for me. It was a lifesaver, and I've been completely clean for 6 years.

I am a physician myself, who has endured 3 episodes of major depression, each lasting 2.5 years.
For anyone, who has not had a clinical depression, it is a brain disorder like schizophrenia or Parkinson's and it is in my opinion the worst disease out there (I say this as an oncologist!).
With depression, your brain becomes your private torture chamber every day anew. Your brain's reward system is shut off and you feel like you have a severe flu, barely able to move sometimes, but mixed with a terrifying anxiety, which sometimes gets you agitated, although you don't have any energy. No pleasure can be felt, the touch of your loved ones feels cold. Your capability of associating thoughts is low, so you withdraw from your friends, because you cannot contribute anything to any conversation. Your disintegrating brain just turns in circles and repeats "I feel so bad" like a broken record. Just surviving the next minute seems like an unsurmountable rock.
Psychotherapy (7.5 years altogether, different treatments) never helped. Probably like a paralyzed person would not start walking again after psychotherapy. Talking doesn't cure a biological disease.
The gross negligence of psychiatry and psychiatrists in doing deep brain research is appalling. Psychiatry got stuck in the 20th century, meanwhile e. g. oncology - by hardcore research and clinical trials - has "landed on Mars".
Thus I beg psychiatrists to wake up from their ineffective "talk about it" stupor and enter modern braingineering!!!

@Martin Weihrauch, it's not a brain disorder or a biological disease, that's a western medical term, just like it is called a mental illness. It may react biologically and it may affect the brain, but that doesn't make it a disorder. It's a very normal and natural but no fun process of our being.
As it is a spiritual process / warning / awakening, a sign for you to take action to work on and heel from past traumas and transform into the real you, the divine you. Have you seen the documentary Crazywise, it's on youtube? It explains beautifully how 'mental disease' is not only seen but also treated differently in western society than in ancient / indigenous / traditional cultures. Not trying to diminish what you are going through, as I have been on and off therapy for more than 20 yrs for depression and c-PTSD (which they have failed to diagnose). But therapy did me more harm because the therapists were working from protocols (dsm), the head and not the heart & soul, and most importantly they hadn't worked on and resolved their own past traumas, which unintentionally they will project on to the patient. I'm determined to get there by meditating, talking/asking for help from my higher self /universe / source, journaling (helps a lot and gives me clear insights), drinking ayahuasca, psilocybin. All this is helping me tremendously and I will continue. I am also trying other sources of trauma therapy like hypnosis, regression and somatic healing. You may already know this but trauma is not only stored in the mental body (subconscious mind), but also the physical body and the energetic body. There are many videos on TH-cam that you may find interesting and may help you (gabor mate, irene lyon, christina lopes). I wish you well on your healing journey which is also your reconnecting soul journey. Be kind to yourself. And this is also meant for any body else reading this.

I had my entire world view flipped on it's head. I had the most terrifying experience of my existence, which led to the most period of my life. I went from not knowing where I was going or why my mind was wandering where it was going, to have a crystal clear view of where my problems lay and how to fix them. I owe this research team deeply for what they have done. Without these initial results, I probably wouldn't have bothered trying psilocybin. I'm now a life long convert. This was very much like waving a magic wand for me and I think it's the most miraculous mental health treatment in existence today. I don't know much about the science behind how psilocybin works on the brain but I do know, with absolute certainty, that the results I experienced were nothing less than astounding. It was Magic. The results only lasted about 3-4 days after each dose but those days were filled with a sense of complete clarity, inner peace, calmness, & understanding that I've never experienced before. It literally felt as if my soul had been playing only discordant, macabre, & off-beat notes and suddenly began to play perfectly harmonious chords that were meticulously synchronized with the rest of the universe's orchestra. I KNOW this sounds corny but there really is no other way for me to explain the sensation of being abruptly released from the prison of Major Depressive Disorder and suddenly find yourself in an absolute state of frequency synchronization... completely at peace, positively energized, & connected.

Fantastic film, thank you film-makers and subjects being filmed.
I can confirm that this drug can be life-changing in a very positive way; had a huge trip when I was 18 and that banished teen depression completely - I saw where I was in the Universe, saw and felt the connections between everything, and fully believe it made me a better person, more empathic, kinder, more loving, less selfish, more open minded to new experiences and ways of thinking, less materialistic.... a profound change. I went veggie, vowed never to keep captive animals again, got into 'protecting nature' and green politics, and I've never looked back.

Used to have a recurring nightmare when a child that filled me with enormous fear.....years later had a mushroom trip that went awol and right there that same fear like a black sea that would engulf me...when i returned from this seismic life-changing experience i realised straight away that the fear was within me and the mushroom just highlighted it for me....the 'bad' trip was in fact a catharsis. Just to add that i've had other trips that filled me with a quite ecstatic love and connection with, what seemed at the time, the whole planet.

Could you elaborate even further? I ask because my son went through a similar situation. He has tripped before on lsd and 2grams mushrooms. Those experiences went perfect. I assume he become brave and his ego blinded him from the respect he should show psychedelics especially mushrooms. He took approximately 4.75grams. 50 mins apart. He really tripped out said he was dying, started having body convulsions not like seizure activity but real strong jerks and jolts he would flop around face down on the ground and then with like superhuman strength just jump to his feet and start running down the hallway screaming I could not wrap my mind around what he had taken I knew it was some type of psychedelic, but I actually thought it was some new drug. I did not find out it was mushrooms for the amount until the next morning. it was somewhat amazing to watch but very terrifying. But now that it's over it has dramatically changed him for the better he's a lot more empathetic with his siblings and a lot more in touch with mother nature and Earth just more caring in general. He went from this selfish teenage boy that only thought about things that related to him to a empathetic animal and new nature lover. He definitely agrees he had a bad trip but he seems to have integrated why and how it happened. It is also brought us closer together as mother and son that underlying disconnect that was once there has vanished, if that makes any sense. Any advice?

I love your intentions and your highlighting in new ways that people can feel better and get better. I was a psychotherapist for 27 years and I have to say that for people with trauma who defensively become miss trusting it takes a year without things like ecstasy to hopefully develop a trusting alliance with the client before they can even begin to deal with those old hurts that are driving them to drink or get high. I’ve use ecstasy in the past socially and I know the intimacy and trusting feeling that you feel when you take it I can only imagine how powerful it would be in a therapeutic relationship. I had taken it recreationally in my 20s but had no idea it could be used to treat conditions like what I was experiencing. A friend of mine told me how it cured her of being suicidal following the death of her husband from cancer. At that point I didn’t feel like I had anything to lose so I tried it. Deep sadness / depression is a VERY important topic! I applaud this documentary and the professionals spearheading this MUCH needed research and testing, as well as the test subjects (REAL PEOPLE with real issues and past traumas). Psychedelics can play a role in recovering from past traumas, and there should be an extended time period of treatment-level dosage sessions done regularly. For the most part, NO treatment or supplement is long term effective after just one dose. Experience, support, learning, integration and cycling through these stages is essential for life long changes.

The withdrawal and side effects of antidepressants and anxiety medication are really rough. I have walked away from a doctor's office with bottles of SSRIs that made me feel the worst. Speaking from experience, I consider Psilocybin to be a lot safer than the medications that have been given to me, especially done in intermediate microdoses. t's inhumane that most of the world is deprived of these natural treatments. Growin mushrooms it's straightforward and discreet, and it could save and change lives.

I don't want to sound flippant in the least, but this actually makes such sense to me. I was an LSD user in the early to mid-'70s. I can recall almost every high and I can certainly understand why it would work for these people. I lost a beautiful niece several years ago. Perhaps had this been available to her, we'd still have her. It warmed my heart to hear the love of their spouses. They were only thinkiong of their loved one taking this trial drug and concerned for them. God bless all who participated.

Me and some friends drove to derbyshire around 20 years ago, We got there about 4am and parked in a little carpark next to a huge hill with a wall going across it at the top....we drove there to find mushies....it was early october so perfect season.....
we decided to climb the hill and sit on the wall have a smoke and take in views before sunrise....we didn't find any mushies climbing up the hill.....
we were all a bit glum about that but by the time we got to the top and sat on the wall we were met by a beautiful view....the sun was coming up and we found ourselves in a huge valley with a lake or river divding it and on the other side another huge hill....we didnt know where we were but it was a magical place....the cars in the car park looked so small....didnt realise how high that hill really was till we got to the top....
On the way back down we spread out and one of friends found a mushie....we all went to him to see it as none of rest of us really knew what they looked like except for being in a small bank coin bag all dried up...
....Then magically and mysteriously they were everywhere....it was like all of sudden god clicked his fingers and made the mushies grow all at the same time.....i never had bag.... i ended up using the bottom front of my jumper as a dish as i found that many on the way back down....i had hundreds....by the time we all got back to thd cars we must of had 2000 or so....i found a tates carrier bag in my boot and we put them all in that....it was pretty full....
We shared them out when we got back home.....I then went to our local libary to find out if what id picked was actually what we were after.....turned out it was....
Ive never had a buzz like it before or to this day....i had far too many the next night .....it was amazing.....but i could not walk....it was mental....
I can imagine sheep and cows getting out their faces on these each year in some places in the uk..An awesome drug given by god....no BS class A chemicals.
Ive been drug free for 10 years now and quitted smoking 7 years ago....
I was lucky to be a teenager during to mid 90's.....epic rave scene....amazing times.... !!!

I suffered severe depression, anxiety, suicide attempts for 15 years. I tried around 15 different types of medication... the whole range types of antidepressants, antipsychotic medication, pregabalin, mood stabilisers, benzodiazepines etc. Nothing helped. I took a very high dose of magic mushrooms and experienced strong ego dissolution and became my own psychologist. I came out of the trip feeling cured and remained that way for two weeks. I was laughing, smiling, engaging once again with family and friends, cycling, in the gym 5 days a week looking buff. I had a sense of life affirmation every day. I processed negative emotions totally differently and healthily. I had to trip once every two weeks to maintain the effect. I had my life back. Then I could no longer get mushrooms or grow them so my depression returned and here I am again... a suicidal mess. I should be able to legally access these. I just want to live and be a productive member of society. Makes me so angry. I feel like my life genuinely depends on getting access to them because I feel backed into a corner at this point and have planned my suicide to such detail and feel like it's only a matter of time before I act.

I think the key might be to reflect on your revelations when you were tripping. Try to remember the solutions and what it showed you. I've also heard people say to try and meditate, learn to quiet the brain. The shrooms dont cure you, just help see things clearly. Its up to you to find the answers. If all else fails, try other ways to get the mushrooms.

Magic Mushrooms were life-changing for me. I always think you need the whole mushroom as nature knows best how to help us heal. Separating it and processing the chemicals doesn't seem to have the same holistic experience. I move lots on some of my healing sessions and they are maybe more suited to a shaman guide than a psychologist. I had to follow a deeply intuitive approach to the healing process with them that took about a year of microdosing and trips. I had to do base work first to know myself and trust the healing process. It is silly to expect 18 years of depression to be cured in 2 doses. Although I appreciate the gesture in exploring a medical approach.

I dose 1-2 times a year, rarely have done it more than 4. Utilizing it with other coping / healing methods is so beneficial, so it’s important to keep in mind this is only one factor for treatments. You need to hit it from multiple angles, and that means different things for different people.
This is coming from someone who’s tried TMS, various prescriptions / combos, holistic doctors and self treatments. You can’t rely on one treatment solely and expect full recovery. You need to be understanding and realistic.

I used liberty caps by the handful and always had epiphany type experiences, very similar to LSD. When I was using LSD in the early 80's it used to last about 10-12 hours. Mushrooms on the other hand, no matter how many you take, it will only act for a fraction of the time. Maybe up to 4 hours. I suffer chronic depression/anxiety and am on a multitude of drugs which are addictive. Weed and shrooms. Weed for chronic pain and I may try shrooms again to see if it can sort my head out. I know a good few picking spots, and we are nearly in shroom season. Happy hunting. Very sorry and empathise with those who have lost loved ones. Treat others how you would like to be treated. If everybody did that the world could heal. There are no races or ethnicities, only the HUMAN race of which we are all brothers and sisters. Take care.

depression is having one's own sadness and anger ignored.. which teaches us to depress our own feelings of sadness and anger.... and so we are stuck and unable to express ourselves even to ourselves which means we cannot respond to anger or sadness or the reasons for them either within or ourselves or with each other... and so we are just suspended in no feeling under a lid of ignorance and fear of not sharing our sadness and anger which would help us find our way to be happy in and with others living .

Such a sad and scary thing to know there's this horrible state of mind that torments so many people and because of various reasons we feel the need to hide it deep inside of us so as not to bother those around us. I really hope the future will bring more open mindedness in regards to using these sorts of medicine to treat mental issues. Mushrooms are no joke if you're are not ready to fight and face your fears of yourself and the actions you did. Along with what was done to you in your life, DONT TAKE THEM! it's a constant crying, then laughing then remembering this really sad moment to these happy moments. I went to a park at night for my first time. I got to run around and be in nature.. what was crazy to me was i couldn't touch any tree, because I felt i wasn't ready for what knowledge they had to share. (Doesnt make sense but when you're high nothing makes sense. Lol)
I now look way different at trees. They are all knowing, and magical. Trip on mushrooms and walk around some trees. They have a spirit in them that's real..
Mushrooms will bring this strange peace after it's all done its amazing, but the anxiety of doing it again is what fucks you up. To much was revealed all at once and it's a lot to process, giving myself time to think heal, and reflect on what just happened was a must for me.

Depression is massive and the only medical help is antidepressants , how do they work ? nobody knows !
how many people have ever been cured from depression with antidepressant drugs ? not one single person ! (fact) suicide is so hugely thought of as the only way out because it's the main side effects of the prescribed antidepressants , its a disgrace ! my mothers been on them since she was 19 years old , shes now 76 and still cant wait to die , she came off them for a month 4 years ago and she couldn't actually cope with her own mind as she started to actually have thoughts of random things as her brain woke up, so so sad to be sedated all your life and longing for it to be over !

I need to do something like this someday. In February of 2019, I had a bad LSD trip. It was only my second time tripping and although I did not put enough intention into set and setting, I wasn't doing for recreation but to explore my own consciousness. I ended up panicking. Convinced I was dying, I told a stranger what I thought was happening and they called for an ambulance. I spent that entire trip in an emergency room. After I realized I wasn't actually dying, most of the trip was spent remembering sexual abuse from a family member. I kept trying to tell the nurses, "I was humiliated when I was little" - but there was no one to hold my hand or help with relaxation. Instead one of the nurses looked at me in pity and said, "Well it's too bad you took drugs do deal with it". I kept begging for a therapist and no one took me seriously. Imagine reliving sexual trauma for several hours straight and surrounded by people who just think you're crazy. It was a horrendous time. I did not resolve anything or have any sort of breakthrough like the people in this documentary, but I did learn dark, dark things about myself. I haven't taken a psychedelic yet ever since because I know that I am extremely vulnerable, but when I watch something like this, I guess it gives me hope. I need something like this.
