- Days of our Lives and former All My Children reboot stars, Cady McClain (Jennifer, Days, Ex-Dixie, AMC) and Rob Scott Wilson (Ben, Days, Ex-Pete AMC) chat with Michael Fairman in this exclusive conversation for the Michael Fairman Channel.
Cady, who recently took over the role of beloved Days of our Lives heroine Jennifer Horton, from mainstay Melissa Reeves, talks about stepping into the role, the recent Jennifer/Kate fight over Jack, and how the legacy series is coping with production during Covid-19.
Rob, talks about landing the role of Ben, how his character is struggling to move on with his life after the supposed death of his wife, Ciara, and his thoughts if they had to recast the pivotal role played by Victoria Konefal, as part of the supercouple "Cin".
Both Cady and Rob first appeared together in Prospect Park's online revival of All My Children. Here they discuss how they had high hopes for the continuation of the series, how it ultimately fizzled, and what it was like to be a part of the then groundbreaking first for a daytime drama series along with One Life to Live, and much more. - บันเทิง
I was so excited when it was announced that Cady McClain was coming and she did exceptional. Would love for her to return as Jennifer. . Yes Cady is amazing.

Cady is doing a great job as Jennifer. Plays Jennifer like more sophisticated and I feel like I'm watching a leading lady of Hollywood play the part. Hats off to Rob! He has improved so much from when he first started. Back then he was just eye candy. But now watch out! The dude can act! You believe what he is saying now. It's cool that they are both so humble.
I agree she's playing a more "leveled up" version of Jennifer but I still love Melissa no shade to her. But as an actress she lacks emotional level Cady is just hitting it out of the park.
@@blaze2001 Melissa is so familiar to us that we're just used to her, in spite of her limited acting skills. Cady coming in so strong really brings that home.
Cady does add so many levels to the character that makes her more interesting to watch. The emotion she expressed when she found out Jack cheated on her after just stepping into the role just ripped your heart apart. I love her and she's amazing.

This was a phenomenal interview & such a walk down memory lane! All My Children is the whole reason I even started watching Days to follow Rob’s career & I grew up watching Cady on All My Children. This was so great to watch so awesome to see their paths cross again on Days!

🦋I’m so glad I watch DOOL, it’s helped me through 2020. Love Ben and Ciara, the Bo and Hope of today. I’m happy for Rob that he changed direction, from necktie killer to the good guy. I remember Cady in Y&R, she’s great in any roll. Even the dogs are a welcome addition to this video. It warmed my heart in 2021. I can’t have a dog here in NC, a transplant from NY. Yikes!

Not crazy over Cady . Maybe I'm just pissed they got rid of Melissa because she liked some comments from Candace Owens. I say so what, big deal. She has a right to like any comment she wants, without any repercussions! Heard even cast members turned on her. What's up with that. Very disappointed in them.

I hate how things have changed so . I know what kind of world we live in now, but i wish it was still the one i grew up in.

I hope Victoria comes back too. I really hate the way they wrote Hope out. If they were going to get rid of her,it should've been with a happy send off, not a totally distraught mother trying to find her daughter that is presumed dead, and alienating herself from her family. What a really crappy send off. Hope she comes back.

That's where I know her from! I would be interested to see Laura Horton (Jennifer's mom) come back, I think they look alike. Actually think Cady looks more like Abbigail than Missy does (still want Missy back). Days is really good at getting actors that resemble each other.

Yes you're right he omitted Dixie discussing the other characters she played as recasted characters, I guess he didn't realize she was the second actress to play Dixie, another recast lol.

Actually Cady's been a recast FOUR Times LOL. She was Dixie #2 (AMC), Rosanna #2, (ATWT), Kelly #2 (Y&R) and now Jennifer #3 (or 4?) on Days.

I don't dislike the new Jennifer, but I'm not crazy about her. I liked Melissa Reeves way better, and with this storyline it would be so much more dramatic and heartfelt if Melissa was still Jennifer, because you can relate to both she and Jack from all the years they were on the show together. and really feel her pain. You can't do that with the new Jen. The connection isn't there. The new Jennifer just doesn't cut it for me.
In my other post I didn't, say anything about Ben He is a great actor too. JUST watched the interview with him very good 👍 👌 👏 😀 😊

Jennifer was a dreadful bore. Cady brought much needed life and interest to the character.

The reboot of AMC was fantastic!!!! It was financing that did it in ): I hadn't been enjoying AMC in it's last few years on ABC, esp. the insanity of moving it to L.A. ): It really ought to have continued, so disappointing.
well I'm sure Cady is a great actress, but in my opinion as a 3rd generation days watcher, been watching since i could look up out of my car seat , i don't like her as Jennifer, she's not a good match for the character. It is insane, to me, to know that Cady McClain has always been a recast actor. It baffles me how a soap has not created a role FOR her! But, being said, she has done incredible with Jennifer and do not wish to see her go!

I personally don't want Melissa Reeves back on the show - I want Cady McClain in the role. The show has been mostly terrible lately, on it's way to cancellation imo, esp. after stupidly firing Chandler and Freddie. The show is at 30% right now.

True. Cady made Jennifer better and gave her spunk instead of being the dreadful bore she has been for years. Cady breathed so much life into Jen that the character was unrecognizable.
