- Days of our Lives bad girls, Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali) and Emily O'Brien (Gwen), chat together for the first time in this exclusive conversation with Michael Fairman for the Michael Fairman Channel.
Tamara, who recently returned on-air to her Daytime Emmy Award-winning role of Ava, shares: details on coming back to the long-running NBC soap opera, Ava's back-story, what it has been like to share scenes again with Stephen Nichols, Mary Beth Evans and Lucas Adams, and the recent shocking twist which revealed Ava had another son, Charlie! (Mike Manning) and what that means to the story as we head into the new year.
Emily previews that soon viewers will know what has been driving Gwen to do such manipulative and horrible things in her vendetta with Abigail and the rest of the Deveraux and DiMera clan, plus what it has been like for her to work with Brandon Barash (Jake) as Gwen's former flame. Cant believe Tamara is going to be 50 next year. She looks like she's in her early 30's. She's so pretty and such a great actress.
She also studied at RADA (Royal Academy Of Dramatic Arts) in England whose other Alumni have been Ray McDonnell (Ex Joe Martin All My Children) and even Robert Reed (Mike Brady The Brady Bunch) who was also on Search For Tomorrow. I also would have loved to have asked her what was it like being part of the First Lesbian Wedding on A US Soap.

These two ladies are one of the best things about DAYS they bring energy and entertainment. I love their evil bad girl characters as I love Tamara Braun on anything she's in going back to her GH days but I love her Ava character the best as she's doing a great job in her return. I always loved Emily going back to Y&R but I'm absolutely in love with her Gwen character on DAYS it always seems like she's up to something. Ava and Gwen are among the best thing about DAYS these days for sure.

I knew when he first stepped on the set ( or I suspected) he was the rapist, no one comes to salem new and without a story...I was like who is this new guy charlie, " I bet , he is the real rapist" just hypothetically speaking and it was fact...
I notice Emily's accent is way less in this interview than in the show.
Apparently she is able to speak different English dialects.

@@lucysilvestri87 Who would the mother be? Also, if you did a timetable, would Gwen had been born while he was either with, or married to Jen. Gwen looks older than Abby, by in soap world who knows. If Jack and Jen get back together, then it comes out Jack is her father, that could destroy any chance of a reconciliation ,if it was while they were together

Tamara's scenes with Mike Manning's Charlie were amazing and fantastic! TPTB didn't understand how great Mike Manning was going to be and there was a huge mistake in letting him go. (Let there be an identical twin!) (; Her scenes with Mike M were her best since she has come back to the show.

Great interview! Will say I love Tamara Braun, but wish writers would have brought her back as another character. The return from the dead, obsessed female story is very old. They also took the character way too dark the last run. I love Emily, and look forward to Gwen's background finally coming out.
