@@HerculesCandyASMRwhat a generous gift for us one day I am going to be able to afford nonessential’s again, and you will be the first Candy spot! I want some of that ribbon candy your mom so eloquently makes by hand. When I see your video about the ribbon candy I was blown 🤯 never would have thought someone did that by hand. Your prices are very modest for the work involved.
To get the little bubbles in it and to make it shiny. I would LOVE to try this Pumpkin Spice candy. I’ve never even heard of this flavour before. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
You have done the world a great service with these videos. My only suggestion, close up shot of the delicious candies finished and beautiful, but before they are bagged.
Would guys ever consider adding an above shot on the candy press? It’s already so satisfying to see the candy go from short and thick to long and skinny, and I think really seeing the full action would make it even better
To add air into the mix, which will change color and texture. You hammer either to shake the candy off, as some had stuck to it in the past, or to keep it attached to the wall mount.
if i remember right, when you finish with the hook, you hit it with the hammer to release any crystalized bits of the candy which were sticking to said hook with the vibration of the hit? the bits sticking to the hook is what makes it difficult to take it off when the stretching is completed.
i have two questions if anyone can answer: how long do you keep the mixture on fire and when packaging you guys put 2 small white items in with the candy what are those?
You should check out friends over at Rocks & Rolls candy, they're in the Netherlands too! I was actually there to meet them back in July, really great people and candy!
It would just get too cold. And unfortunately yes, we do. People have said they would like to buy it from us, but unfortunately it very quickly all sticks together with a rather unappetizing and sticky texture, so for that reason we throw it all out
Why do you use these cooling tables instead of a marble table like some other candy makers do? To me, a complete outsider, it seems like you have more control of the cooling process with marble. Genuine question.
Actually you have significantly more control with a cooling table because you can run water through it of whatever temperature you want to heat it up or cool it down whenever you want. Marble only really cools down and heats up based on the previous batches and how you're using the table during the current batch.
He can bare hand the corn syrup because of the very high heat the candy will go through. I was a food inspector and looking at one operation with these big copper drums that rotated small candies to make them smooth with adding wax noticed the operator bare handing the candy to feel if the candy was done. He was upset when I told him he needed to wear gloves. He was right in that touching the candy was the best way to tell. So instead we decided on a small scoop to take a sample for feeling, then discarding it. It's no fun telling someone that knows his job and has been doing the same thing for dozes of years that he has to change but that's progress.
I cannot begin to tell y'all just how calming this is. I put it on to start getting ready for bed and it's honestly so helpful to listen to.
I purposely put no ads in the middle of the videos so that people can fall asleep to them 😴 so I hope it helps you fall asleep too

You knead, stretch and fold the candy to add air. The tiny bubbles enhance the candy in many ways. 😊
Correct!
Have you guys made a cleaning up video? I would love to watch how you get things clean again. No idea why but think it would be cool.
Oddly relaxing and satisfying for being the creation of pumpkin spice candy.
Truly an art form. No industrial machines necessary. Just good candy, made the old-fashioned way 🍭🍬

In addition to what others have said, it further mixes the ingredients, expecially the dry stuff.
That's true too!
I would definitely buy a bag of the little bits that come off the candy when you shake the pieces 😊 oh and you hammer the hook to release the candy!
I wish we could sell it! But unfortunately very quickly it turns into one big lump of very sticky candy that nobody wants 😢
You have done the world a great service with these videos. My only suggestion, close up shot of the delicious candies finished and beautiful, but before they are bagged.
Love watching the crank machine ❤
will always tune in for these vids
There yall go making me drool again!
It helps to release the air as well as to get the correct colors and consistency
Would guys ever consider adding an above shot on the candy press? It’s already so satisfying to see the candy go from short and thick to long and skinny, and I think really seeing the full action would make it even better
Yeah maybe we could rig something up on the other side of the machine 🤔

Somebody has been paying attention in candy class!
That's one heck of a lot of sugar! Bloody lovely! 😁😁
I find it crazy that such little cream of tartar can stop so much candy from cracking
Love
Your
Videos and love your family ❤
Thank you so much!
Love no talking . Great video!
This is the right channel for you then!

My fav local candy store
OMG DESCUBRÍ ESTE CANAL NO LO PUEDO CREER
Why are you dropping them? What did that Pumpkin Spice ever do to you?!
XD You're tearing them apart!
Good video btw lol
The candy in the hook acts like a non-neutonian fluid. It becomes solid under the percussive action of the hammer. Thus releasing the candy.
you pull it on the hook to make it good, you hammer the hook to stop it from being bad, easy
Wow, you are truly a candy expert!
You hammer the hook to shock the candy off it, similar to working with molten glass
Correct!
Not 1 but 2 asmr videos in one week?! We are spoiled haha
The hook pull is to add air and mix it well? The air also lightens the color. The hammer is to detach the candy from the hook?
Pulling candy adds air which makes it a lighter color.
Как вкусно это выглядит
So cool
Good job
Thanks, hopefully it helped you fall asleep!
Why aren't you able to stir the dry powders into the liquid before you do the pour? I've thought this question when you add sour as well.
i have two questions if anyone can answer:
how long do you keep the mixture on fire
and when packaging you guys put 2 small white items in with the candy what are those?
Until it reaches 310°F and those desiccants, which help the candy from sticking together 😊
@@HerculesCandyASMRThank you!!!
11:10 Are the gloves to protect your hands from the candy or to protect the candy from your hands?
Both?
You hammer the hook to release the candy 🍬 it gets stuck to it because it's sticky. 😊
True!
What does ASMR stand for?
I feel like you should be using a rubber spatula for scraping the bowl, no? I just feel like you can get more out that way
How do I find this job?!?!🥺💜
Putting it on the hook puts air to it and changes the color and the hammer releases it off the hook.
Somebody has been paying attention in candy class!
is that straight tap water you use?
I wish it wassn't like a thousand euro's to ship your candy to the Netherlands, otherwise I would have bought so much allready
You should check out friends over at Rocks & Rolls candy, they're in the Netherlands too! I was actually there to meet them back in July, really great people and candy!
Can you “over hook” the candy? What happens if you do? Also, when the drops break, what happens to the candy dust? You throw it away?
It would just get too cold. And unfortunately yes, we do. People have said they would like to buy it from us, but unfortunately it very quickly all sticks together with a rather unappetizing and sticky texture, so for that reason we throw it all out
why don't you mix the powder in when it's still in the bowl?

@@HerculesCandyASMR Ok! Thanks for the answer.
How many steps do you guys average?
Why do the pieces of candy need to be so small to go through the machine that cuts it ?? Could you not just feed a long strand in ??? ♥️♥️♥️
Out of curiosity, How many tonnes or pounds of sugar and corn syrup do you all go through in a year?
If both sugar and corn syrup are both sweeteners, why not use just one or the other; like, what purpose does each bring to the recipe?
I think the ratio affects the texture and gloss. Just sugar would be much harder, more difficult to work with, and less glossy
i need to find the talking videos
To say hi
Wow you're good!

It's amazing how many times we touch our bodies without noticing. I counted twice that she touched her hip and forearm, then back to the candy. 😮
Shouldn't the weight be without those little pkts...then put them in
Not first.
