In this video, I cover everything an immigrant can expect at their marriage-based green card interview, based on my 14 years of experience attending interviews with my clients. I start with the differences between being married to a U.S. citizen versus a green card holder and how your location impacts wait times. I then go into how you should construct a relationship timeline, how to gather and organize important documents, and how to properly answer questions asked by the USCIS officer. I also explain what a Stokes interview is and how to handle various different interview scenarios. You'll get insights into USCIS processing times, tips for managing your interview day effectively, an overview of what questions to expect, and advice on what to wear. Whether you're facing an interview soon or just starting the process, this guide will help you navigate U.S. immigration procedures confidently and significantly increase your chance of approval!

Hi. Wondering if it’s ok to start with having a family first then proceed to getting married because the future wife is eager to become a mother and doesn’t want to wait too long to become a parent. My suggestion was yes, and that we would bring proof of paternity so that they can see the child is ours. Is this something you have seen or come across with? Thank you for all the information love the channel ✌🏻

I am several years older than my husband do the interviewing officers tend to be more inquisitive because of age differences? My husband and I have been together for six years in all, and we just celebrated our
3-year anniversary in June. But we have never lived together. I went to Africa to marry him because we wanted to have a wedding in his country and one in the USA. For our first anniversary, I returned and have not been back in two years due to finances and health issues. We filed our I-130 in 2021 and we just made it to the NVC stage. What are your thoughts on this matter, please? 🤔
