Blocking distance alert sensor on Volvo truck

Mine out of adjustment. Stopped cruise control. I like it. Safety feature

I just pull the connector out thats to the left of the sensor. The only thing that comes up on the dash is a check light.

Unplugging it disables it without any issues?

Try re orient it skywards a drill n som screws myt thro a code but non big

Thay doesnt work !! It will lock up the brakes while doing 70 mph it happened to me

@@hectordelgadillo9952 There’s a little orange or yellow release. Slide that to the left. That will expose the locking clip. Pull that towards you as you slide the plug to the left

Just put aluminum tape over it. That’s what I did. Not one more distance alert came up
