For the benefit of the panel and all our friends watching, I would like to tell you:- China electricity price continuously dropped in the past twenty years. Thanks for its huge investment in hydro-power. China medical cost and education cost have dropped a lot in the past five years. Thanks to Xi's effort to curb corruption and allocated resources to help the middle and lower class.
Housing prices are dropping. Thanks to the CCP policy, houses are for people to live not for people to speculate. Yet it is this government that get tons of criticism from the West. China may need to sell more mirrors overseas.

Rule based international order is by definition some nations or group of nations created these rules and trying impose these rules onto other nations. Of course, given the cultural differences, levels of development etc. this is very difficult to achieve. But the worst part of this rule base international order is that it is frequently breached by the States pushing this international order. In other words, they are applied by the initiating states only at times when it is beneficial to them

After the WWII, United States has determined to be the world leader. It conducted a series of invasions militarily and otherwise. This otherwise includes economics, financials, information, technological, cultural, media, election process etc. When we look at the western countries, they all have democratic systems. At the same time, their government bodies are filtrated with US appointees. Their national policies and strategies are very much controlled by United States. It was almost effortless to turn Australia away from the French and choose to buy the submarines from United States. All leaders from the western countries fully understand that anyone that stand up against United States will get kick from all sides.Germany, Australia, Britain etc. are no more than a State similar to California.

The proof is manifested - for example - in Tamil language (NOT friggin Hindi) being accepted in Singapore and Malaysia as one of their official languages. Who is to say that objectivity or sense/reason/pragmatism leads towards order and not "chaos"? Perhaps an objective, pragmatic and reasonable view is to accept that not only the world, but the universe or reality itself is chaotic in nature.
Perhaps objectivity and reason leads one of to accept that there is no such thing as objectivity and reason to begin with and that everything is relative and chaotic/random instead.
There's many objective or sensible, pragmatic people who believe in chaos theory and a non deterministic universe.
It could be a self fulfilling prophecy that such beliefs breed chaos and conflict itself. Others believe that competition/conflict is better than accomodation and harmony in terms of human progression.
It is a question of philosophy and ideology that is as old as human consciousness itself. As long as one has free will and self determination there will always be competition and conflict.
It is like religion or god. Many supposed objective, reasonable and sensible people believe in an invisible,. omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent god. Free will, belief, ideology, spirituality, consciousness is a complex topic that had no objective answer and is relative just like most if not everything in reality.

The US regime has this propensity to always redefine events, definitions, eras, geography, agreements, contracts, developments and next to everything else, to suit its whims and fancies. That's when corruption becomes lobbying, murders become collateral damage, lies become alternative facts, torture become enhanced interrogation and so on.
You can never hold and trust the US regime to any agreement, contract as has been proven again and again. In that sense the current Ukrainian Russian conflict is a classic case of that untrustworthiness of the US regime.

However, the foreign intervention as always going on has made China to be more aggressive to contain the outside interference. India is fundamentally an expansionist continuation of illegal British India. There was no empire called "India" before England conquered and pieced together unconnected territories on the subcontinent. Before that the northern one-third of it belonged to muslim Central Asia. Ladakh was originally a Tibetan kingdom just like Sikkim, Bhutan and the entire Northeast inhabited by Mongoloid people. Tamil Nadu had always been a proud independent Chola kingdom with our own ethnicity, language and history. Even Canada recently called for the recognition of an independent Khalistan. Kashmir people do not deserve to be brutalized by the invasion of the Indian army. As anyone can see, India was never a naturally-evolved nation but came about when England exhausted by WW2 hastily handed power and the army to their cronies in Delhi. It was akin to thieves passing on their loot to robbers so today India is still an illegitimate empire that needs to be broken up.

Our soldiers did not venture out on their own to raid the Chinese border guards. They did not choose to die at the Galwan Valley border. They were ordered by higher command. So we must ask why the Indian high command decided to carry out this ill-fated military operation. Did they do so with the blessings or permission of our political leaders? Or was it a misunderstanding/mistake down the army line that led to unintended consequences?

It is not just talk that definesc 21:49 a man. this is how the world is what it is today. Look over what and how a person did as he reached his peak n his spiralling downwards with hows and whys before passimng judgement of what what he said and did thereafter. Too many simplistic conclusions and comments of a siutuation n superficial talks have resulted in why singer DaoLang album, Lasakhizi hits billions as he pull open the plug on the effects from such simplistic approach. The German politician and the alert sounded by other nationals still hinged on simplisticism n hidden fear of self criticism when mysteriusly awakened by Daolang cry for justice n annihilation of yuniaus' n mafus' gongon scamish arrogance n bullies. Perhaps John Lennon's Imagine sounds the first alarm of dirts will be dirts regardless how extensively they r cleaned which incidentally reminded what Churchill said once 'a £ is a £' which most thought how stupid can he be but essenhtially it is no different from 'dirts r dirts'. This recalled Christianity basic message delivered as Jesus was nailed to the cross "save the sinners". Nevertheless generations later used the bible on which one vowed to tell the truth and nothing but tge truth but ignoring the more significant Chistianic call "save the sinner" but instead they persecuted, financially stripped n their lives. On the other spectrum of Karma n its consolling message to those sufferers of the evils deliverers when Karma seems not falling with 'it is not there is no karma, it is not time yet, perhaps waiting for more evil persistence'. Yes all these justified the existence imaginery or factual of LoSak Wherein noormality is reversion, simply put evils r virtues and virtues r evils or black is white n white is black. Aunitofu, Alleluya with apology to other great teaching for the ignorance of their equivalence.😊

The individual at the core, then family, then the ethnic, then country, then world/ human, then spirit/ Godly represented by the moral expression and action which is missing now, lost in commercialism. The quality of governance needs to be judged by generosity, equality, lack of corruption, crime etc etc., It will s like Russian dolls, Babushka. Inside one there is another. Stop pretending the prehistoric Maurya empire has anything to do with India any more than it has to do with Nepal, Pakistan or Sri Lanka. The ancient empire of bygone ages had long vanished into the mists of time, and over the ages, mass migrations happened. Given sketchy records and dearth of historical evidences, it's unknowable if the ancient people in those days were even related to any of the present populations here today.
Beside, India is purely a recent British birthchild pieced together with the unconnected regions of vastly different languages, ethnicities and histories. Yes, India as a nation - even the name "India" is a recent British creation - has a history of only 70+ years. Don't let us pretend India has an ancient history of thousands of years. There was simply no political entity called India before British colonial rule.
This is all fantastical hindutva propaganda of a mythical bharat - drawing on mythologies and Mahabharat fairy tales - to justify an expansionist ambition to subjugate every other sovereign nation on the Indian subcontinent! India as the offshoot of her criminal British colonial master has indeed inherited all the British predatory instincts. Even as she now flatly denies it, she has every intention of subjugating every other remaining independent nation on the subcontinent.

George Yeo was manufactured by Singapore's westernised education system. Thus, there is a limit to his understanding of Chinese civilisation. He is a person who believes in God, not knowing that his Chinese ancestors shifted away from the practice of divine worship 2500 years ago. Chinese intelligentsia has been secular for more than 2000 years. He is like a diploma holder who didn't get the chance to attend university, therefore, something is missing.
Thanks to our great sages, we Chinese don't think in black and white like sheep; we also don't play the God's game of good versus evil. Around 1000 years ago the Mongols under the leadership of Genghis Khan had built an empire that reached some parts of Europe. Mongol armies pulled back from Europe when the successor to the throne were killed in Sichuan, China.
But, today, Mongols is a member of Chinese family, and Genghis Khan has become a part of Chinese history. This wouldn't happen if Chinese were to play the God's game of good versus evil like what westerners did in their long dirty history.
No matter who you are, Chinese will accept you if you believe that you're a member of this family and willing to fight to protect this family.
Many Chinese sages who lived 2500 years ago were socialists, thus, socialism has a long history in China. This is another subject westerners have yet to explore.
Western system of top 1% (God) ruling over the other 99% (sheep) will have to end in the future. In the past, they used God and churches to rule; today, they are using Democracy and mainstream media to lord over the people. It's a feudal system that is not going to evolve faster than the people it lords upon.
    Ha ha ha!

GY is trying to explain to the West in terms and context which at least they could be interested to listen. Talk to the West about socialism and they will condemn CN as communist and that Western democracy is much superior to CN. The West is idiotic and misguided bullies. But how else to talk to these kind of people. So thank GY for speaking to the West in ways which CN is not able to or hate to do.

George Yeo is very knowledgable when it comes to China and global
Geo-politics. The problem with Yeo is that his views are ‘tainted’ by his Catholic-Christian beliefs. So his views are very pro-Vatican, therefore by and large, he has a pro-European bias. A fellow Singaporean diplomat of his, Mr Kishore Mabuhbani, who is also very knowledgable of China affairs and geo-politics is neutral in his view point and not tainted by his religious or ethnic background.

As Winston Churchill once said India is no more a country than Africa. Too many different races, languages and origins. How long can you force diverse free peoples in a Frankenstein union. To justify its dubious existence, hindutva nationalists cluelessly clutch at straws of a fictional bharat from ancient times that no less a knowledgeable figure as Winston Churchill had confirmed is merely the geographical expanse of a South Asian subcontinent. India is a creation of Father England, and really has no ancient indigenous roots as a nation. It began only in 1947 as a political continuation of the British India empire. The day will come this clueless India must disintegrate.
