Hey K, I find your videos fascinating and very informative moving forward on the Titan. I have a 2016 with 62,000 miles with emissions intact. My mods are very modest with all AFE products. I am very curious why it blew but for you Titan owners with the Cummins, CFT put a video out about Titans blowing and cranks splitting in two based on bad tunes (one of which is the GDP tune). The video was made around March 30 of this year, and I would advise all Titan owners who are thinking about a delete to watch this. I'm keeping mine with the emissions, just because it runs so well the way it is. Keep them coming K Bridges, love the content!
Great to see your diesel Titan content on TH-cam. I have 2017 Cummins Diesel that is still bone stock w/70k miles on it that has been trouble free. I don’t tow much but have lent it out to coworkers who always praise the capability of the overall powertrain. I know you don’t want to go gas, but 5.6L gas XD’s seem to be praised for performance over the diesel. The Nissan V8 is a mildly revised GM motor. The engine meant for your 240 could be an excellent match on that eXtra Duty frame. Cost wise, that could be an effective repurposing of resources you already possess…just an idea. Looking forward to future content, as always.

So i would like to know what the hold up would be to do a 6.7 cummin swap into 1 of these trucks. They already use a cummins ecu that could be rewritten with a 6.7 file, and the trans is self contained with its own ecu. Youd have to go to the larger bell housing but otherwise thats the only difference between these trans and what the early ram chassis cab trucks ran. It wouldnt be hard to swap to the aisen that goes in the 6.7 h.o. rams either as the trans is the same size and uses the same electronics which i believe is all self contained in the trans but im not 100% sure on that part. Anyways id be curious to know if a 6.7 would fit in these or if id be too long
I've seen a couple videos showing that the crankshaft breaks on the 5.0 cummins. I do want a titan xd because i am a big nissan fan. I just can't make up my mind with the older diesel or a newer gas version. I will continue to watch. I am really curious what happened to yours. Thanks for the content and good luck!

Check the wire harness that feeds the injectors make sure the wires did not short out and blew your motor.

Get some Speed of Air pistons made for that while you're rebuilding it.

Maybe this is just what you needed to keep your content up. Keep up the work and solve the mystery that Nissan and Cummins is keeping from us.
The turbos on our engine are unmatched. They're hard to tune, but no other turbocharger setup can touch them.
