I watch a variety of TH-cam channels. Many are pop culture centered, mostly tilted toward content that an old timer like myself may or may not find relevant. Others, far too few, have content that's culturally, politically and socially relevant ( for Black folks in particular). Your channel has a balance that's always relevant, entertaining, educational and excellent at telling the story about what's happening in Ghana. Please keep the content coming. Thanks.
Yes it’s very balance. I myself is being called to move to Ghana and I honestly got some really good information from this channel. People I will contact when I get to Ghana.
I had being invited a couple of times while in Ghana and couldn't honor it. Thanks Ivy for bringing the face behind Sai. Will certainly visit next time I am in Ghana.
Can you do a video on colleges and universities in Ghana? It would be great if African-American and African-Caribbean families begin to send their kids to study in Ghana and develop a greater appreciation for their African ancestry
Yes, I imagine growing up in London with its famous bad rainy weather and moving back to Ghana, West Africa and feeling that sun on your skin must be almost life changing/healing. I was born and raised in Washington D.C. in the U.S. and I hate the drab, rainy autumn weather and the cold, dark winters. On the other hand, I love the sunny, hot and humid summers. I know that my Africans genes are strong because it never gets too hot or sunny for me. I can go out in the hottest sunniest part of the day and just be happy and in love with the weather. I wish you much good luck and success with your wine bar. Such a creative idea for Ghanian 's who want to further explore the beauty of wine. Continued blessings to you.
Thanks Ivy, you just added another reason why I'm regretting cancelling my ticket, but I will definitely rebook for next year. Please keep show casing these fantastic women and the businesses in Ghana. The country is calling me so strongly and I'm not Ghanaian or African!
Ivy this was soooo good! Added this to my list of places to go to when I come back to Ghana. Also Nadia's advice on buying land as collateral was spot-on. That's how my family built their businesses in Ghana
This is one of the most brilliant conversations between two classy African Queens. The content was food for the soul. One thing that's missing amongst a lot of youtubers in the African Diaspora is objectivity. Covering all of the dynamics which make up a complex society is necessary. Especially for those coming from abroad who don't fully understand the intricate workings of African culture. The African Diaspora abroad has the seed. However those seeds must be nurtured and developed in order to flourish in the fertile soil of the motherland. Again, Thank you for your brilliance! 🇬🇭 👀 🙌🏿
I watched a video from another TH-camr recently. She was going over the pros and cons of living in Ghana. Of course she returned to the US and is now broadcasting from NY. I thought to myself, I would rather bribe a cop in Africa than be shot by one in the US! BABYLON is BURNING! 🇺🇸🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 It doesn't matter if you have more resources if those resources are being misappropriated. COVID-19 is running rampant in the US. The West is slowly becoming a graveyard filled with violence, plagues and natural disasters. Right now California is on fire and the sky is literally red in color. African Americans are being put into medically induced comas for COVID-19 and never leaving the hospital. There are over two million individuals locked in the prison system. White militias roam the streets with semiautomatic weapons threatening the kill everyone who doesn't agree with their racist agendas. Even before the pandemic there was an opioid epidemic that was taking the lives of tens of thousands of US citizens with no repercussions. Now we are on the verge of a potential civil conflict due to political oppositions. There is a reason why the African Diaspora is looking to move back to the motherland. However if one is looking for some kind of reparation or hand out they will not succeed regardless of the ethnicity of the populous. Your president is a brilliant individual. I believe he is one of the most strategic leaders and the world. The rebranding of Ghana has manifested into the reimagining of Africa to the African Diaspora. Every video and commentary I view warms my heart. My plan is to begin the process of moving myself within the next 12 months. The work you do is righteous. It is definitely God's work. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Thanks a lot for the great conversation and great ideas that can be implemented almost everywhere in Africa. Looking forward to visit Ghana next year ...
Understanding your parents its definitely the best thing that happens when you get to be where they have built their character and mannerisms. That's when the true journey with your parent's starts... Appreciation is word. loved it! really good! thank you Miss Ivy.
Ivy you've done it again. I love the fact that you highlight such classy places..her place is beautiful. I live in NY and this reminds me of an upscale wine bar..but ethnically sublime..thank you as usual.. I look forward to you getting 100k subscribers, your content is always great. You definitely seem like you were a journalist or something similar prior. This sister's place is amazing!!
Great video Ivy, very inspiring. Love the wine idea. She’s going to do well for sure. It’s amazing how some of the negatives are similar in every black colonized country. We have the same issues in the Caribbean. So difficult to do business there, export and import goods. The colonialists system doesn’t want us to make it and our leaders are so for themselves, they keep the useless system in place that keeps the country and their people down. Hope that mindset will change soon.
Thank you for your comment and sharing the similarities about the Caribbean. I'm really hoping that things gradually change over time. It's true that the colonialists system had made it difficult and sometimes leadership contributes to the problems. That's why I love meeting people who are finding ways to make it and also make a difference in other people's lives at the same time.
Her space is beautiful. I wish she would do a weekly show, choosing a food and wine pairing and then discussing a book. The book of the month should be a four week series. Demon interactive allowing viewers to post questions about the book. The last session can be live to greet the author. I am saving money to syndicate shows like this to connect the diaspora and those who live Africa
Your production quality and content is superb. Although I’m repatriating from the US to The Gambia, I’m obsessed with your channel b/c the stories and journeys you uncover are universal. This episode is one of my favorites, watching two stunningly beautiful black women living lives they have designed for themselves (via divine inspiration) is everything. Kudos to you both and all the people that support you.
The topics you cover are by far educational and so eloquent that they leave me open and receptive for more. Your positive aura and spirit shows through and it’s such a breath of fresh air. Dja da’nh ghana di bai pa terra mãe specialmenti di vivi na Ghana 🇬🇭🙌🏽😊. BTW, the word “ghana” means “desire” or “want” in my CV dialect/language.
PhArAoH KhAfrA PyRaMiD yes I am aware of what my ascension name Amunet mean dear. That’s the reason why I picked it ☺️ it means SPIRIT (the feminine “invisible/the unseen side of Amun-Ra)
PhArAoH KhAfrA PyRaMiD in my creole language, the word gana, means wanting something. The word “desire” seemed more appropriate to use. The word Ghana has a different meaning in the land where it is used hence the country Ghana. I am also aware of that too my dear. Thanks for the adding knowledge you’ve offered as well. I appreciated it.

What a great interview. Nadia’s perspective is refreshing, her experience in Ghana and the people is heartfelt and complex. Definitely would like to visit and try one of her wine.
Always such quality content on this channel. Loving it all the time. The sister rightly said, we should always try & make friends with the locals than just people from diaspora, very important. We do not want this capitalistic mindset to ruin it for all of us when we go to the continent ourselves. Also, very fine, high quality wines, even i though, i do not drink alcohol. I am impressed. Do you mind if i make mention of the outfit? As for this interview what you & the sister wore, were quite elegant, if i say so myself Sister Ivy. Even juice toast match the outfits, class.Peace & blessings.
Thank you so much for watching and for your feedback on the content. I really appreciate it. Also thanks for the comments about what we were both wearing.
@@IvyProsper You are welcome. When I say the best yet I mean I have watched ALL youtubers on this journey (all day every day 8 am to 1 am during the pandemic ) in preparation for my move to Ghana in a couple of weeks. Love her great job❤️💯.. can I add a little suggestions ?Wine goes well with chocolate,I live in New Jersey Atlantic City there is a similar set up here, they use Ghana and Ivory coast cocoa beans to make in house chocolate and is always sold out .
Ghana and Ivory Coast are the world's two biggest suppliers of cocoa in the world, so it's not surprising. Together they supply over 50% of cocoa in the world. Most American companies buy the cocoa and want to process it themselves because American customers want chocolate with the taste of American milk added. It's a shame that African countries have been ripped off for so long because they are not paid well for their many of their resources which supply the world.
Great interview very credible information from someone with on field knowledge and success also very professional presentation and interview keep it up! 👋🏿👍🏿I’ve just subscribed looking forward to more exiting videos. God Bless
