Today's episode is about Mercy Kitomari who is a Tanzanian entrepreneur who left London in the UK to start a homemade Ice cream business in Tanzania. She tells us about how she was able to build her business in Dar Es Salaam and some of the challenges she has faced on her entrepreneurial journey.

I was watching Channels 24 yesterday and an economist from Nigeria said 90% of our output goes to servicing our debts. I hope he said 19% but I'm pretty sure he said 90%🤦🏿♀️

@@ifehansson2254 35% percent of 2021 budget actually but 90% of internally generated revenue. The entire revenue expected for the year is about N7.5 trillion with N5.3 trillion deficit to be financed with foreign loan mostly. Meaning, we will be spending more on debt servicing next year.

Just be careful . They don’t always tell you what they think. It’s peace-building but also challenging when you are seeking honest opinions or looking for someone to lead your business (which need assertion). Love them though
