I think most MUAs use isopropyl alcohol to disinfect either their brushes or, if they work in a retail setting, testers. Perhaps a spray bottle of alcohol would be a good idea to disinfect brushes or powders. Just an idea!

I hate eyeshadow that's pigmented but impossible to blend! As a newby to makeup it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong! When someone with Robert's experience struggles to use something I'll just end up looking like a child whose found their parents makeup! Learnt so much from this channel!
Remember that with makeup an artist can only be as good as their tools! There's a lot of beginner friendly good quality makeup out there, sometimes you get a dud. I'm sure you already look absolutely stunning!

I'm 46 years old and last year I went through a period of buying LOADS of expensive makeup, brushes and etc when I was Dj'ing but, sadly, I had to quit DJ'ing due to an illness and I completely gave up on make-up. I wear splints on all my fingers for my RA, they just happen to be sterling and fancy. A couple of them just stick up ever so slightly when my fingers bend and I can’t tell you how often I’ve caught the ridge of my nostril. Pain! But they are very pretty at least 🤷♀️

Brush, sponge, with your fingers, lots of different tools you can use to apply lots of different products, and sometimes that's what makes the difference between what works on you and what doesn't. Sir! I think I wholeheartedly agree with your assessment of this eye palette. When it comes to blending those colors, they disappear or they underperform. i use that eyeshadow palette but like as eyeliner, i mix the eyeshadow with contact solution or aloe vera gel. its good in my opinion cause its all i have to work with :')
Overlooked AMAZING product: the balm hot mama blush. 100% adorable shade. Nice color shift to it. Has great dimension. I even use it as an eyeshadow sometimes on a light look in my crease! It's great I love it so much 💚

Robert, let me say I LOVE your rings. One thing I've always wondered though is how you don't hurt yourself on them. I'd be poking my eye out or scratching myself. I love Beauty Pie and your literally the first beauty youtuber I've seen use it! They do a foundation that is exactly the same ingredient list as Armani Luminous Silk and it's amazing and the highlighter is like baked gilato and it's stunning. They basically use high end labs but don't use the lux packaging so pass that saving onto the customer (if your a subscriber),they also do skincare! Amazing company 😍

Next time you do a drugstore tutorial you should try Catrice and Essence, they are affordable sister brands with really nice quality 🥰🖤

I can't stop buying mauve lipsticks, even though I'm pale and they make me look like a zombie.
It's all trial and error! Even with colour theory, some shades just don't work!

Living for the drugstore makeup try ons. Some of us just want high quality and your expert opinion is fantastic. I see you really try to be fair. Also, THANK YOU for not using filters! Such a huge pet peeve of mine when youtubers apply product with a filter on. Defeats the purpose of those watching. We are seeing 2 different things.

Robert, let me say I LOVE your rings. One thing I've always wondered though is how you don't hurt yourself on them. I'd be poking my eye out or scratching myself. Then this happened...Time stamp--> 0:52-0:53 LOL Don't ever stop wearing them though seriously. They are wonderful creations and statement pieces and I never wear my own jewelry enough. So whenever I see one of your videos it not only teaches me about makeup, but reminds me to be grateful for things I have and to wear and use my beloved things more often.

I like 2nd chances, it’s something I believe in very much in life & that includes products. I’m not surprised the Profusion palette gave you trouble - brights can be difficult. I’ve tried a neutral palette from Profusion that I actually enjoyed.

Profusion's spectrum palette isn't their best, but the others are really good taking into account its from the drugstore.
I love Beauty Pie and your literally the first beauty youtuber I've seen use it! They do a foundation that is exactly the same ingredient list as Armani Luminous Silk and it's amazing and the highlighter is like baked gilato and it's stunning. They basically use high end labs but don't use the lux packaging so pass that saving onto the customer (if your a subscriber),they also do skincare! Amazing company 😍
