Vauxhall/Opel ECU Fault Code P1600 Replace ECU - How to diagnose and fix!

- This ECU fitted to the Vauxhall/Opel Astra, Zafira and Meriva built between 2003 and 2013 with the Z16XEP engine is a very common failure that causes fault code "P1600 Replace ECU" to be stored, however, this does not mean that your ECU has failed. In most cases it actually means that other components have failed, which we explain in detail on this video.

walk into limp mode when it gets hot when I turn off the engine so sometimes I can not start the car

Can you help me understand these code errors? I recently got 3 new errors on my opel H Z16XE. 1515; 1450; 1600? I don't understand the meaning. The car works fine, without any problems. (I can say that since I changed the thermostat the water temperature is 100 degrees Celsius, instead of 90 degrees like usually, but the mecanic said that's ok because this is the temperature for this enegine )
Hi. Zafira b 1.6 Engine cranks but no start. No fault codes generated so, nothing to go on. Could it be ECM? Any ideas! Thanks.

Hi any help would be really appreciated, Zafira b - 05 car with spanner through light coming on and off when car running, only comes on after doing about 6 miles or so, stays on for about 3 to 4 mins then goes off, then comes back on, taken to Garage, EML On/service light resulting in fan relay 3 malfuntioning, TestFan/Tested Fan 3 & wiring from ECU to relay, ALL FINE, Diagnosis result found poor plug connections, but since then the service light is still doing exactly the same as it did before, any suggestions please.
Hi. Did you get the poor plug connections fixed? Was there any sign of water ingress on the connector or plug or even around the ECU itself?
@@Ecutestinglimited Yes Garage fixed plug connections and no signs of water ingress, but light is still coming back on after about 6 miles each journey and has continued to do so since got back, seems as though comes on once car has warmed up, back to local garage t/day for another go at it.
What about a 2005 petrol Vauxhall Agila?
