I feel really dumb but I didn’t notice what direction the needle needed to be put back. Should the pointy part be sticking out or in when I put it back??😕
Yes the ethanol content at pretty much every pump near me is 10%. I have had success so far with draining it but I know it will need to be cleaned again. Probably make a good video of just being aware of that and how to maintain equipment.
Have you tried to unbolt the pull cord from the engine to see if that is stuck? I would try that first before tearing into the engine. It should just be the 3 bolts on top I believe.
I'm having the same problem. At first it would run after pull starting but stall when I put the choke in. I took the carb out and cleaned it, now it stays running after choke is in but stalls when triggered. I guess I'm taking the carb out again. Maybe the 4th time I used it. Lol
If it is a Honda then the pilot jet on the top of the carb is pretty infamous for being difficult to clean. Most Hondas I used to wrench on I would have to do the carb a few times until I just started doing deep cleans on them no matter the condition. Hope that leads to the right direction!
Very true. I had a mower that would have a hard time running where the spark plug needed to be cleaned. Very good to check spark if carb cleaning doesn’t help.
So simply clean the carb out , to much chitter chatter man good context but to much of this and that, it's a carb to sit and watch someone pull one off is just as bad as watching folks open a box , folks just don't have time for that stuff.
Some of us have pulled apart many different carbs and it's boring to watch, but some newbies that have never done anything mechanical and experience an issue with their first pressure washer might like the extra video of cleaning of the carb. It can also help someone later if they pulled apart that specific carb and are looking for parts or trying to figure out how to re-assemble, or looking to see something else for this particular pressure washer. I've looked at videos many times where the fix in the video had nothing to do with my issue, I was just looking at something else on the machine they were working on to fix mine. This dude said he fixed it so it's pretty easy to skip past the carb cleaning process. Nothing pisses me off more than trying to fix a machine with broken or missing parts and all the videos I find are edited or don't show the part of the machine I'm trying to fix, so to me I'd rather have extra video than too little.
Put sea foam in your gas can it will help to keep the carb working longer you get a carb cleaning everytime you refuel an it helps for storage
I did this and it starts and runs amazing. The problem now is it doesn’t seem like i have as much water pressure as i use to.
Rebuilt my carb and works great thank you
Glad it helped!

Hey not a problem! Pointy part goes in. The flat circle part slides into the plastic float. Hope that helps and thanks for commenting!
Only leave a pressure washer with no load no more that 1 minute or 2. That hiccup was the pressure washer getting hot. It can over heat your unit.
Interesting. I'm having issues with 2 identical pressure washers. Even after cleaning the carb, the first is still having issues. Driving me crazy...
Thanks for comment. Yeah something about pressure washers just seem to love having troubles. Hope you get it figured out!
Amazon 20 bucks put a new one on.😁
Being in CA, Ethanol is most likely the culprit even if you drain the bowl.

@@modest_wrenching Maybe run some tru fuel or seafoam in it before storing it?
Krusteaz? How the heck would pancake mix get in there?!
My pull cord wont pull. Lloks like same model. Any help?

Good
Work
You could've just ran True Fuel through that and it would've cleaned that out.
how many times has the wand got away from ya and bit that flip flop foot? lol
Pro tip: you never have to trim your toenails if you don’t have any.

Lol then don't watch it, not everyone sits and watches every video on TH-cam like you. Some people actually use TH-cam for useful information.
