第一个想到的就是这个，而且美剧中经常见到。
纠结主要表达的当事人的心情 而不是当事人的境地
@@junweihe8229 你說的正確。Dilemma 是事情狀態，與心情無關。fixated 是全心貫注這件事的心情，就為這件事操心。與糾結接近。
解析得真好
其实完全没必要区分中文意思，因为你表达时，in a dilemma , in a quandary , am torn , in two minds , wavering in 等都有表示 undecided 的意思， 没有所谓的纠结或者境遇的区分……

那个应该指的是进退两难的境地 而不是指心境

我觉得最接近纠结本意的词是Confuse,将纠结解释为执着应该算是引伸义，甚至不正确。
纠结意思其实就是因为困惑而犹豫不决或者琢磨不定。

Hi it's kinda a late reply, but I personally feel obsessed has a liking feeling to it and usually used in a very positive tone, like: the book is so good I'm obsessed with it!! However, fixated can mean too much time/energy was spent on something you don't like or not conventionally appreciated by the public, maybe some types of fetish
