@@moon4.that’s not true, the other shells contain diff amounts, 2nd shell is 8, 3rd is 18 and fourth is 32

This is the Only video I have seen that explains shells, subshells and orbitals in a way I can understand. I suffered through two high school chemistry courses where the teachers made this topic completely muddy and incomprehensible. This would have saved me so much pain. Thanks god for people like Gumball degree who are willing to take the time to create videos like this to explain chemistry. When my professor explained this in class he did it very quickly and I don't think he went into this much detail in laying it out. I had no idea what he was talking about.

Wow amazing description! The textbook does such a poor job of laying all of these things out without explaining how each shell has subshells and how the electrons per subshell actually add up to the amount of overall electrons in each collection of orbitals. Thanks a lot this really helped!
