greeting Matt. welcome to the community. considering subbing. . anything is possible but I would do it the right way. trying to assemble that thing with the radiator hanging down is just asking to bugger up fins and such imho... and get a radiator flush out of it. even run the clr flush and rinse all the dirt from the fins (dont use simple green on the outside!!) only soapy water..
I’m a bit confused. Wouldn’t it accomplish the same thing as the pipe to just back the van up onto those ramps? seems like that would raise the tank opening above the radiator valve. I’ve gotta be missing something because that’s what I did the other day, i closed the radiator screw up top, and now the van is overheating. i didn’t open the T-stat valve though 🤔
hello burrito, you arent confused. that does achieve the same thing. what is easier, a piece of pvc or driving the van on ramps? what is cheaper? pvc wins again... consider subscribing please. we have other vanagon videos. keep on bussin!
bro I already subscribed when I watched the first video. Do you have any idea why my van is still overheating? I do have one of those “Libby bongs“ on hand, but mine doesn’t have a float, rather it uses a clear hose zip tied to the side so one can view the level, but I didn’t wanna have to spill a liter column of antifreeze in my yard with cats and kids around. Another TH-camr has a video where he bleeds it with the front end up on ramps, claiming that this enables all air to be bled out on the first go. i guess i’ll have at it again
what year and how many miles? We know all about overheating vans. 🙂 Why are you going to spill antifreeze? thats why use use the float... put a tray under the van if you are worried.. That what we do.. @@barnacleburrito3728
best advice we have is pop for a radiator... our low speed fan comes on and ACTUALLY TURNS OFF when we are sitting traffic in hot weather@@barnacleburrito3728 thanks for subbing btw.. way appreciated!!

In your opinion Is it possible to swap the radiator fan without fully disconnecting the radiator?

Hello.. Having overheating issue on my vw t25. do you know if they have a radiator resistor for the fan?
Hello clark. They is a low speed resistor. More likely the fan switch. We have a video on the switch too
