Love your videos! Ever thought of creating a video about your progression in mountain biking? Like from the very beginning...I think it would be great to see how you got to be such an amazing rider!
Good Job Heather on the latest Go Pro offering. To really see some dramatic Drone shots go look at some of Ryan Van Duzer's Bike Packing Drone videos...it will blow your mind on the great job he does while riding hundreds or even thousands of miles!
This is the 1st time I have watched your channel. Really enjoyed it. My friend pointed me to you because of this post. I am looking at getting a new GoPro. I currently have a Hero 3 (Don't laugh) I am fairly new to Mountain Bike Riding(Electric). You provided some good info, I appreciate it. Rear Chest mount is a great idea. I plan on trying that. For the Drone shots, was it setup to follow you or was someone operating the Drone. Just subscribed to your channel and look forward to new videos. I'm going to go back and look at your older stuff. Thanks again!
New to your channel , loved your review I just need to clarify how you do the shots front on with the rider behind . Are you wearing chest mount on your back ? Footage looks amazing . Im looking at upgrading but reviews on overheating and after sales service are alittle concerning
Thanks for the chesty footage of max hyperview used in an mtb context. I currently use the gopro max and always use max superview. It's interesting to see the difference in fov and (finally) video quality.
Thank you for watching hopefully it was a little helpful for the next time you use the GoPro. these cameras are so awesome, I love riding with mine and looking back on all the footage.
I always thought you have a gimbal. Your video are so stable. I use a chest gear to but I have to flip my go pro upside down, otherwise I would be filming the sky. Can you list the settings you use?
Just a little clarification, the Hero 12 does NOT come with the Max lens 2.0. This lens must be purchased separately. The Max lens 2.0 will cost an extra $99 or $79 if you have a GoPro subscription.
Wow! the picture is exceptionally clear Heather. I have a Hero 7 White and it is beyond my paygrade so this one would have me scratching my head. I'm old, therefore not very tech savvy. 🙂
Wow a big thank you for sharing that video with me Heather I really enjoyed it. And definitely learned something. But sadly I don’t ever think I will be able to get back on a mountain bike because I had a accident at work and injured my Back been off work for 20 months and my back ain’t getting any better. Always looking forward to seeing you on your next adventure
Thanks for the insight Heather! I’m rocking the HERO10 but might need to upgrade. On a another note, would you recommend Shimano or Crankbrothers for a first time user with clip in pedals?
Hi Heather! Content looks amazing and luv all the info you went through. What software or program are you using to edit your footage from the GoPro? Kind regards José 🇳🇦
In the market for an action cam. I was looking at the Hero 11 and saw some reviews that they tended to overheat a lot. Granted they were probably reviewed by that one dentist that doesn't recommend brushing. Were there any technical issues with the 12?
The best “good morning everybody” intro. Let’s get an espresso machine sponsor for you and add a good pour! 🎉. Because well, good riders need 10/10 espresso.
No!!! Insta360 One RS with Leica lens kicks ass over Gopro. 1. No overheating issues. 2. Much better low-light performance. 3. Batteries last a heck of a lot longer. 4. The Insta 360 app is waaaaaaay better than the GoPro app (for both streaming from the camera to phone, compression, interface).
Heather will enjoy to show u some really steep hidden gems in Laguna and Frazier Park and super sweet fast jumpline In LA when ur in OC. Have a solid group of male and female riders Mix and u should join us for a lap or two. If interested when ur in town let me know.
You Friend Drone Aired Flying Skills are totally amazing to Film you Riding Down the Trail My Nephew got a DJI Drone to Learn How to Fly one we take Turns Flying so I can make a MTB Riding Video on the Trails 🎥😃😘😘😘🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I used GoPro cameras for years, but once you try an insta 360 you will never use a GoPro again. They are so much more versatile and you can get much better footage.
Hypermax view looks horrible, the distortion is crazy. I don't know why a mountain biker would need this type of lens. What we actually need is a no distortion lens. The super wide and Hyper max view are not needed, only for certain type of footage, but for mountain biking it does not make any sense. I hope Gopro did not glue the lens on super well on the 12, as with the previous cameras, cus this made modification, lens replacement impossible. Peau Productions have tried. I still use Go Pro Hero 7 Black with PeauPro87 3.37mm no distortion lens so the trails look how they actually look, not flattened, easy. If I can modify or buy a modified camera like I did with the 7, I will upgrade. If the lens already included is no distortion lens and you just add max lens that makes sense. Is that the case?
It just comes with the option of a max lens. It has the normal ones too. You can change them easily to what ever you desire. That’s cool you still use the hero 7. They last for ever !
@@HeatherMunive But my question is the stock lens a no distortion lens? I will defenitly watch more vid son this camera but am in no rush. But regret not getting a screen protector for my 7. Screen cracked somehow. 🤔 But been solid camera.
Looks like I might need to buy this camera. as it can use the Enduro batteries. I read Hero 7 can't. In the winter with sub zero temps, even at -1C the regular batteries run out of juice in less than a minute or just few seconds. But I do have a Session 4, it works in -11C at least, but that's 1080p and horrible distortion. @@HeatherMunive
Looks like pooh. The road is blurry af and who wants to stare at the bicycle neck? I just got a 12 and the video is so shaky it is unusable. They GoPro forums are no help. They want $$ for the gopro player HEVC codec. I'm returning mine! Woot!
Please improve your content you go to some extraordinary places but a are very vague on you description maybe elaborate a little more instead of screaming 3/4 of the time
Love your videos! Ever thought of creating a video about your progression in mountain biking? Like from the very beginning...I think it would be great to see how you got to be such an amazing rider!
Thank you!! I will consider doing that for a future video.
Good Job Heather on the latest Go Pro offering. To really see some dramatic Drone shots go look at some of Ryan Van Duzer's Bike Packing Drone videos...it will blow your mind on the great job he does while riding hundreds or even thousands of miles!
The video is so smooth on that gnarly rock! Still rocking a 7 black, it's stabilization helps, but the 12 is looking next level.
Im glad your still rocking the seven. They last for ever !!
Heather that drone footage at the end was SSSSIIIIIICCCCKKK!!!!!!
Thanks Mark ☺
That's a nice Go Pro camera, 3xLike..! But, girl.., you have an awesome trail into your "back yard" 😮😉👊
The drone shots are so good, and I love the reverse chesty idea. Solid video, thanks for sharing!
Thank you !! I am happy you enjoyed it ☺

Great video Heather as always very well thought out and loved learning some new trails with you felt like I was in the video lol
Thank you 😊

Yes, you are correct thank you for that clarification. You do have to buy the lens separate.
Thanks for sharing. Crossing the border for your next video?.. Mexico?

What do you set in the main steps? Standard , HDR or LOG , hyper smooth on or Auto boost thank you
Cheers! Watching from Chicago!
The audio (speech) quality is awesome, assuming it's the built-in mic on the GoPro
Need ya back in Colorado again
Yes it’s from the GoPro mic. I don’t have anything additional for audio.
I love Colorado. I can’t wait to be back. Soooo much stuff to ride out there

Hey Jose! I use the GoPro app when editing any videos from my GoPro.
Sorry not on topic your glasses how are they during winter in California not so cold here eye watering when going fast ?
Kinda new to your channel, what state are you shredding for this content?
In the market for an action cam. I was looking at the Hero 11 and saw some reviews that they tended to overheat a lot. Granted they were probably reviewed by that one dentist that doesn't recommend brushing. Were there any technical issues with the 12?
Hey, I personally did not have any issues with any overheating. We used it for hours too
That's good to know. Thanks!@@HeatherMunive

Awesome video. Thanks for the upload
Thank you for watching ☺
The best “good morning everybody” intro. Let’s get an espresso machine sponsor for you and add a good pour! 🎉. Because well, good riders need 10/10 espresso.
You are one hundred percent correct 😊❤️ I love a good brew.
The drone shots are killer

Thank you for the advice I will try that for sure!
I'm going to borrow that Idea on the reverse view.
YESSSSSS, I can't wait, I hope you love it just as much as me. The shots come out amazing.
