Being in a rush - bad idea. Not wearing gloves - bad idea. Not wearing hiking boots - bad idea. Not finishing hike - it doesn't count. This is a serious hike - take it seriously. Over ten people have died on the trail in the last 20 years (estimates vary - some have it higher).
Zion National Park is spectacular and should be on everyone's bucket list. Did the Angels Landing hike a couple of years ago and it is definitely the most intimidating and strenuous hike I have ever done but well worth the effort. Thank God for the chains. Was sore for days after.
I truly can't decide what I thought was more beautiful, you or the scenery 😊 I'm from Jersey, I recently got into mountain biking so I've come to appreciate your channel! Looking forward to the next one Stay Golden ☀️
This is one of those hikes that should not be rushed. Make sure to wear proper shoes and take breaks when needed to pace yourself. My partner and I were lucky enough to gain permits through the lottery last September. Beautiful hike but very busy. Not many reckless hikers, but the ones you encounter create an anxious vibe to everyone around.
Awesome that you hiked angels landing. Great job on catching the shuttle too. I live here in St George and have still never done it. When there's good weather i just want to ride a mountain bike. 🤣🤣
I hear you on that. This was our first none Mtb trip and it felt weird but also nice. This hike was incredible you should defiantly give it a day to do it 😊
I love Zion, it so beautiful! Went there about 5 years ago. Angels Landing was closed so we did the hike to Observation Point. Too bad that you had rush through it, there are some other cool hikes too.
Nice video! I was fortunate enough to hike Angel's Landing in the 80's before the multitudes arrived and the Earth was only half as populated. The last part is the scariest but that shouldn't deter anyone in half decent shape who doesn't have vertigo. It's hardly the scariest hike in North America though
That is so awesome you got to do the hike. For me this was one of the scariest hikes I've done, but I can't wait to explore more of North America and do more hikes.
Great video Heather and Ben something different but it’s all ways better for a bit of a change. That hike looked very scary and hard but it probably would of been fun tho .
I grew up in Southern Utah. Went to Zion almost every year. I hiked the Angels Landing a couple of times as teenager. I have hiked several Backcountry trails and other trails in the canyon.
We did Angels Landing in 2015 on the day they cleaning the pit toilets on Scouts Landing. A total of 5 including us were at the top who hit the trail before it closed for the work. Was awesome with no crowds of people and had a good hour at the top. Great hike. Observation Point and the Narrows are awe inspiring as well.
That's so awesome I can't imagine climbing it when there were sooo many people. The permits are making it less crowded too. I have to check the narrows out Ive seen and heard lots of amazing things about it.
Do The Wave next! I hear that takes a little time (but really, a lot of time) to get permission into but looks like a beaut. Wish I did that and Antelope Canyon when I was living in Flagstaff a couple years back.
@@HeatherMunive If you can get a spot at The Wave take me with you! Hah yeah no worries. Humphreys Peak a little north of Flag is super nice and very free too. Ride safe, be well!
We just did this last Tuesday the 21st in the blizzard. It was covered in ice and snow. Talk about a bit scary. We took our 15 and 11 year old up with us. We did it! A bit harder coming down with ice.
Oh my gosh what an experience that would have been. We were slipping with no ice I can't even imagine. So awesome you all got to do it, I want to take my niece there when she gets a little older, she's seven now. Any tips for bringing the little ones?
@@glandersonbooper9342 It is a shame about the crowds. But what can you do about it? It is a beautiful place but as a local I would probably now want to go there. It would be nice driving down to the park and be able to pull off the road and hike a few trails but that is not a reality. I can see how it would be frustrating..
Angel's Landing is magnificent and not to be taken lightly. Fear of heights? Don't go. Understand the risks and go in non-peak times but other than those factors go forth and enjoy a great experience.
Angels landing is only scary if you really can't handle exposure. I remember being worried about all the hype on how scary it is and then getting there and thinking, "that's it?"
You better stay home and not go to the Alps. Thats a cake walk.Don`t get me wrong I love Zion and Angels Landing Its BEAUTIFUL . You must pay attention but not that hard .
We went to Zion right after the Sedona mtb festival. We did hike up Angel's landing. All the switchbacks snow and ice covered and there on up. Very slick
A little bit of my fear of heights kicks in just watching video much less being in a place like that. I would suggest that y'all wear boots for ankle support.
No offense, but this is a bit ridiculous. I went up there 5 years ago, healthy but untrained. If you are healthy and don't suffer from fear of highs there is nothing terrifying about this hike, thanks to the chains no point where you have to risk anything - maybe apart from crowds if were too impatient to not run around them. Case in point: You went up there despite ice and snow, with sneakers instead of proper hiking boots, and filming. I would recommend against all of the above, but luckily you still made it there and back again safely.
That was so beautiful thank you.
How exciting! Your commentary makes all your videos fun. Nice to see Madison again her smile lights up the videos.
Nice video Heather 👍 It was nice meeting you during the Sea Otter Classic 2023 - Super nice Heather 🚵♀️
I'm comfortable enough at sea level here on the east coast, very impressive though!
Wow I mean wow that is an awesome place mmmm so beautiful great video 😊🤙
Big fan from🇳🇵 i enjoy your all videos, you’re a pro Mtb rider hats of you maam

I absolutely agree this should be on everyone bucket list !!
Great vid. Riding a Harley through that landscape would have been incredible!
It was a literal dream trip
Completed Angels Landing for one of my bucket list items. Not as bad as I thought. Would definitely do it again!
So happy you got to experience it too. It was a good one, I would recommend it and do it again too
Landscapes and overall atmosphere here are simply amazing! Sucha a enjoyable presentation my friend!
Thank you 😊 this place truly is amazing!
New viewer and sub!! I don't think I have ever seen anyone smile the whole time doing this hike lol. I'm going end of this February! Wish me luck!
Incredible! So proud of you Heather
We should plan a trip with the girls here!!
I’m more impressed with the motorcycle going into the back of pickup, that takes skill to walk HD up a ramp👍
Beautiful trip. Great friends
This is amazing. Adding it to my list.
I get goosebumps when I see the beautiful abysses and the size of the rocks.
It was truly incredible
One of your most toughest videos to watch the chain part of the hike really have high anxiety good video thank you for sharing the experience 👍🏼😥
Thank you for watching😊

Que brutal waoooo Dios los bendiga mucho paz
You're inspiration
I'm planning to go there April 5th , what's the place where you stayed overnight?
We weren't able to hit that last year when we visited, but hoping we can do it next time! :)
Awesome epik video
Hahah. I’m so glad we made that shuttle! 😵💫 that was a LONG run!
You guys gonna take the bikes on that trail next time?🚵😳🤪
Ez hike, tourist magnet

I will have to look into these hikes. Thanks for the suggestions!!

I was questioning the choice of footwear, but speed got you to shuttle just in time. Don’t you need a filming permit in NP’s now?

Yeaaaa i turned back that shit was scary lol.
I turned back, and I was only watching😂
I wanted to do that so bad when I was in Utah but we didn’t have time 😢
Just watching this makes my heart sink
A climb straight up the mountain.
Its a nice hike but far from the most terrifying.
As a local, the most terrifying part is the crowds. I avoid Zions like the plague these days. Better off just hiking in the Gorge.

can you upload videos when you fell into a bushes from a bike?😅

This video is so scary 😮
Scariest part is the people not giving each other room
this was one of the easiest hike compared to rim to rim
Wao❤❤❤ super❤❤❤ love ❤from India🇮🇳🇮🇳🚵🚵🚵🚵
Me da gusto mirarte otra ves con Madison cuidsla es muy bonita
Nope. Parts of me are sweating that shouldn't be just from watching.

This is not the scary part of the trail.
Great idea- do Angel in a hurry with improper foot wear. Brilliant.
The park doesn’t need loud motorcycles.
