Not much of a How-To video. Just showing what I did for my install. Took about 2 hrs total. Started off slow with trying to cut perfect strips of sound deadening material and then eventually just started slapping the largest pieces i could fit and placing 'scrap' pieces into gaps. The foam cover was an afterthought. Already had made the Amp rack a while back so holes were already drilled in and ready to install.
It's hard to say. I didn't think the road noise was bad to begin with. My sound system performs very well though. Tight bass with the subwoofer with no rattling from the truck. Wish i took sound level measurements before and after. I'll update if i can find someone to let me use their Mav for testing.
Hi!! How much clearence is over the back seat? I want to do the same but with a sub+amp, probably a KICKER 46HS10 or a Rockford Fosgate PS-8, bouth around 3.5” of height

did you ever make the video how to get to the plugs behind the air conditioning? Not sure how to get to those?
I have not. I know there’s a video somewhere of someone pulling out the air conditioning panel. There’s several clips holding it in place

Did you used a T harness from the radio or did you cut the wires ? If you did use a t harness can you post the link please
I cut the wires and soldered them together and then used heat shrink tubing.
Which wires did you cut
No sliding window

Sound deadening missed 50% of the area. Do the entire back wall including behind pillar trim and it makes a big difference.
Thanks for the tip. When i can find the motivation to sound deadening the headliner, I'll get behind the pillar trim too.
