final production should be as raw as possible with minimal CGI, because if you add CGI it makes us wonder why not just do the whole thing in CGI and be 10x easier
My kids absolutely love this movie because of the stop motion as soon as they seen the ending through the credits that showed the stop motion animation and Crew they couldn't believe it they actually want to get into it because of this movie and some other's and they're only 6 and 7 thank you for your talents because it's inspired 2 young boys to get into animation

I have a undying respect for the makers of stop Motion films
Same. I do stop motion on my channel and I can tell anyone that stop motion is harder then they would think. Just 15 frames per second is hard and this guy is doing 24!!

Stop-motion requires two things: Time and an unholy amount of patience. Not everybody possesses both.
Also space. Space that shall remain untouched and undisturbed until the work is done.
I don’t possess either but I think I do pretty well when I’m animating 😂

The one stop motion scene that impressed me the most is the ATAT offensive in Empire Strikes Back.
There was this whole set covered in (fake) snow, and the animators had to move the walkers without touching the snow.

If I were to have seen this animation without the behind-the-scenes, I would never have believed that it was stop motion as it has been edited so well that I thought it was made 100% digitally! Amazing work, really inspirational :)
