    I suddenly started getting hives all around my body and it’s so uncomfortable. I’m allergic to seafood but I didn’t even come in contact with any. It has been like this for 4 days. I’m hoping it gets well. I hope it gets well for everyone dealing with the same thing out there!!!❤❤

      Mine started Friday. Emergency room gave me an antibiotic which made it go away immediately. Got prescribed prednisone for a 4 day supply. Imagine that round 2 of hives came back again 24 hrs later. Buying zertec in the morning hoping that helps before I gotta spend money I don't have for an allergist. 😢😢

      Do you have other symptoms, or health conditions , e.g. arthritis, inflammatory or autoimmune disorder? Idk if you're saying that you were admitted to the hospital for an inflammatory disorder, or if you were there for outpatient testing. I'm asking because for years I had multiple doctors who dismissed me over the years because my blood work was negative. I had chronic spontaneous urticaria 15 years ago another time doctor called it chronic idiopathic urticaria for head to toe for almost a month. It finally went away on it's own, now when I get rashes they are limited to one arm, a knee, or my thighs. The rashes were one of the first symptoms that something was wrong. I have psoriatic arthritis and osteoarthritis, and Selective antibody deficiency, but every time I've had rheumatology blood panels they're negative. If it wasn't for my daughter I don't know if anyone would have suspected that I had a primary immunodeficiency disorder, but it explains why I got pneumonia all the time. Just know that it's not uncommon for up to 40% of people with certain autoimmune diseases will be diagnosed as seronegative. If you have symptoms that are getting worse, noticeable changes, do what you can to be your own advocate, and insist that your doctors take your symptoms seriously. If I could go back twenty years to my 30's I'd fire more than one of my doctors.

    I've been getting this for a while now and mines are caused by heat more specifically from sunlight. Every time I went out I started getting rashes and new hives would appear. The way I've been able to deal with it is; Using a good SPF (Sun protector) that has a rating of 50 and applying it to exposed skin usually when I wear short sleeved shirts or shorts. Wearing long sleeved shirts/sweatshirts and pants to protect my skin from direct sunlight, and a medication called Hydroxizine. Not saying it will work for everyone but in regards to hives caused by heat this is how I've been able to deal with it. It's still important to visit your doctor/dermatologist about it!

      Also, some ways to get rid of hives regardless of the cause; Drinking plenty of water, being on a good diet, however, some hives can stem from food allergies; this video went over some of the common ones. Using a good bar of scentless soap designed for sensitive skin, I use Neutro Grisi Neutral, and works great for me. The same goes for detergent make sure it's scentless and for sensitive skin. Shower with cold or lukewarm water never hot! Don't scratch if you really have to just push on the area with your finger instead of scratching and make sure your hands are clean. Keep your surroundings clean and please try not to stress out everything will be okay friend. 😄

    For everyone who developed this out of nowhere and even tested negative for allergy test and are suffering with no idea why, I fortunately i have it diagnosed properly, it maybe an auto immune disease where the immune system is attacking itself. (It's kinda funny cuz we are allergic to our own blood lol)
    Antihistamines work but it won't help in the long term and there are treatments like wbc therapy but even they have less chances of working. Honestly we just have to combat through it with good hope and try to immunise ourselves with Antihistamines. I started with 2 pills per day and now I'm at 1 per 3 days after nearly a year :)
    Although before jumping into conclusions it's better to get it diagnosed by an actual specialist and I hope all of you can get better some day :))

However in the winter when the radiators start coming on, my body can’t handle the change in temperature. During exercise it is the worst. • @MedicalCentric
      @MedicalCentric  19 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @Awaker_Yt That sounds frustrating! Temperature changes, like going from cold to warm quickly, can sometimes trigger hives or itching for people with sensitive skin or certain types of urticaria. This reaction might be due to how your body responds to the sudden shift. Try keeping the fan on a lower setting to avoid drastic temperature swings or wearing light layers to help regulate your body temperature. If it persists, a doctor might have some tips or treatment options to make you more comfortable!

    Just finished a week course of antibiotics on Weds. Friday I wake up with a mild case of hives. I’m prone to hives when having reactions (even happened with mono). But it has been several years. While I’ve never had an allergic reaction to amoxicillin. I’ve often times have had medication failure with it. Looks like Amoxicillin just doesn’t like me.

I've had a very mild allergy to cats before, but this time I broke out all over my body on my legs, hands, arms, and even some on my face. Really fantastic to know that I may never be able to tolerate a cat, I'm one of the 10% allergic, and of course hives has to be the rarer effect to the protein cats have... my heart is so sad right now because a big dream of mine was to have my own cats... it's times like these I hate my body T_T . Be safe everyone while we are still in the throws of allergy season! Thankfully, my ragweed/golden rod allergy is sinus pressure/sinus related.

    Hi everyone, i got these hives just two day ago. And I'm worried now. Will i have these hives the rest of my whole life? Or can i get rid of it?
    I had my normal breakfast with a cup of tea, toasts and egg. after an hour, i started itching myself. I went to a medical doctor last night. He injected me with some drugs (medicine, i don't remember the name) and the itching stopped immediately and the hives too but it took about 20-30 minutes. The hive didn't appear on my body But after 8 hours, today morning i ate egg again and now my Palms started itching again. From the video i came to know that Egg is one of the causes for the hives.
    I'm sure that I'll definitely not eat EGG rest of my life. I didn't know that EGG would do something like that. I'm also dealing with respiratory problems. I'm allergic to Dust. And now this. I really hope that I'll get rid of it.
    Please I'd really appreciate if someone share some tips in initial stage how can i get rid of all this.. i don't like itching myself at all.

      @MedicalCentric  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @jessieshort5404 Working around grain bins and in dusty environments can definitely be tough, especially if it’s your first time and you're already experiencing hives and irritation. The combination of heat and dust is likely making your symptoms worse. It might be helpful to wear protective gear like a mask and long sleeves to minimize exposure, but if the dust continues to agitate your skin and cause hives, it could be a sign that this environment isn't ideal for you. If possible, take breaks, stay hydrated, and consider consulting a healthcare provider to see if you should continue or find a safer way to work in those conditions.

One time I was rushed to the hospital because I can't even breathe because of hives. So they injected something to me then it goes away. Gettingnhives ended when I turned 18. When I ate all foods that I am allergic to. My teacher once said that if u have allergy u can make ur body immuned to it by eating the food. I just tried doing it and it suddenly stops. Hives, or urticaria, can be a challenging and uncomfortable condition to deal with. It's great to hear that you found a way to manage your hives by gradually introducing allergenic foods into your diet, as some people may build a tolerance over time. However, it's important to remember that allergies and their effects can change over time. If you're experiencing a resurgence of hives, it's essential to consult with an allergist or healthcare provider for a proper evaluation. Taking antihistamines is a common first step to alleviate symptoms, but identifying and avoiding triggers is crucial. Your healthcare provider can offer guidance on managing hives effectively and may conduct allergy tests to determine any new sensitivities. Don't hesitate to seek medical advice to find relief from your current hives outbreak.

      @MedicalCentric  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @WinterFlower-mn3hk That sounds really overwhelming, but I'm glad you figured out it’s hives and not bugs! Hives can definitely feel alarming, especially when they show up in large patches like that. It's common for things like mosquito bites to trigger an allergic reaction, and it sounds like that might have been happening to you. Allergic reactions can vary over time, so it makes sense that your body might have responded more strongly this time. If you haven’t already, an antihistamine could help with the itching and swelling. Hopefully, you'll feel better soon! 😊

      Okay so even this morning I had the rash on my arm but no itching. I took a zyrtec so I didn't look like weirdo with a skin disease. It keeps coming back just when I stop taking the meds because I naively think it's over. Even yesterday I broke out on my legs and arms. The good thing is that it doesn't itch nearly what it did when it started.

      @@EliSoCray is that a prescription? I'm actually okay now. It's not causing me any problems really. As long as it's not itching...🤣
