Gold per map is not a bad metric because another person can time how long it takes them to run the map and do the math on their expected gold per hour. Gold per hour is also a good metric but usually differs for each person based on build, gear and play style, both have value.
I personally like getting more gold per map and don't really care about map/hour, because It just feels better to get 80-100k per map than 20-30k per map but faster and I couldn't be bothered to run many maps when I was only playing to sustain farmers lately.
I have been running tier 17 maps 0_ZERO rarity on my gear no gold flask , 4 chisels, ambush map device imbuement, 2 ambush scarabs 1 ambush of discernment 1 domination scarab 1 scarab of monstrous lineage 2 skittering delirium orbs, averaging 86k gold /map.i can only do about 4-5 maps/hour so the 360k/hour sounds about right also DON'T UNDERESTIMATE the caster mastery passive node that opens nearby chests with spells,,,sounds like a waste of a skill point but i could not live without it now, such a massive QOL upgrade and all the chests drop more GOLD!! !Expensive but still profitable plenty of scarabs and currency. Great content bro keep grinding.
I do at least 300k/h with just alch and go... It is just go in clear kill the boss go out it takes less than 2 min per map and each map gives 10K gold.
Stay tuned on that as i was thinking of making a late league flipping video since someone actually asked about this in a previous comment asking what to flip as a league starts to die off (which this will be the first time happening since this is the first league where you can do currency exchange flipping w gold).
Isnt the point of gold per map is to remove the build variance? So heres this strat and heres how much gold per map, run it yourself and see how many you can do per hour. Gonna vary for each persons build.
The problem is, even if you got 100k gold per map, if it takes an hour to run the map then what does it matter? This is something I wanna go into more detail on in the future but for example lets say you have two maps and one gives 10k gold per map and the other gives 20k gold per map, but the second takes *three times* as long as the first map. all else being equal, the second is a strictly worse gold farming strategy
Good call thanks for letting me know, just found it. I also found one from someone called bawloch claiming 1mil/hr so after i do some various testing on a few more things ill check em out and prolly do a vid on the folks that have found the most high end strats. Cheers
both metrics x per Hour and X per map alone are both worthless.I think best and the only one which is really calculateable for the viewer himself is If someone sais i got X gold or Chaos Per map And average map Time was X minutes. giant rogue exiles in T17 are by far the best gold shitters BUT i could farm them comportable only when my build only passed the 1.5 mirror mark lol . i am pretty sure ziz doesnt use any IIR gear, maybe a gold flask, i have the best results with gold flask + IIR support ( But only with a real strong build else you lose big damage = big time increase =big bad and because i am a attack base build i use my prefixes for flat damage for faster clear example dont forget those Alltogether i had 186% Player Rarity

Personally the one I've been using is Lazy Exile's strategy with shrine of apparations + titanic exiles. At least 30k gold per map
