This was such a wholesome interview. Damons journey has been so impactful to all of us living this life in real life. Also the comment made about can you judge a country without speaking the language was powerful! I agree you can judge a country to an extent, but once you do learn the language and have a connection with the culture you'll know the full story (or close enough). For someone who has learned different languages and traveled a ton when people comment about certain countries I defend them in a sense, or give a broader perspective because of the connection with the language and culture I've built. I've been following Damon's journey for years and really like his whole thing, but I wanted to point out I really enjoyed the interviewer's vibe! She/you is/are so chill and playful in the interview, yet still asking all the important questions, I love it!
I love Damon so much. Travel social media people nowadays are so overrated and cliche, as privilege would make you enjoyable just because you travel. But that’s not Damon, he’s unique and underrated ❤ And he’s love for 🇧🇷, yes I’m Brazilian
Haha I love Damon, this is great 🥰 a little tip though: some questions were really good but I wish you went into more depth with them, usually you stop right after Damon responds and switch to another topic, but it’s nice to go through for a bit with one question. I would also recommend to ask more open questions because I felt like some were really obvious and kind of already giving the answer e.g.: “Is techno the best music?”, Damon can’t really respond to that with something else than “yeah”. It’s funny to do it maybe once or twice but try to keep questions generally more open and ask through to get to interesting parts!

Not saying bonjour before addressing to people especially to ask for a favour is considered extremely rude in France. Bus drivers and any worker deserve the minimum of respect and not tolerating rude customers and demanding that they respect workers isn't being sassy and is definitely necessary to avoid ending up with too many Karens and entitled rude customers.
