My husband and I owned a little cottage in a French village for twenty years. The neighbors were tired of British ex pats buying up properties and they had never met Americans. They were actually excited to learn we were Americans! The Parisians do seem to get tired of American tourists. In the countryside, it's a different story.

First time I see DD and at the beginning I was like “an influencer…”?! but he has a fun and easy and wise by experienced personality . He really has interesting thoughts about what is a home, the influence where you born, attached to nothing but connected to all (Buddhist principle)… Liked his apartment and his way to decor, you can breath in the flat and at the same time you can enjoy many beautiful decor items. I like the book shelf, the window corner the closet with a mirror. I love Nomad’s honesty, please be careful with that ladder. It’s just a bit thin. Do you know, it’s so refreshing to see young people taking a risk to travel. I’ve always love to travel but never dare to do It due to not just the economic inconvenience but the fact that I obeyed to my parents. I took French in High School and the only thing I remembered was Pass me the bread and the butter, if you please in French. I spent a week in Paris for my 50th Birthday and I felt as if I had died and gone to heaven.

Well, he's charming! I'm from KY and joined the Air Force so I could get to Paris to see the Louvre. Went there 5x's ('84-'85). Loved hearing the "y'all" and "grandma", from someone who has exposed himself to such culture. I've raised my 1/2 Moroccan daughter to love traveling too. Inspired to see someone from his generation who really CREATED his life to his desires! The style is fantastic. Thank you for the peak and the exposure!
