Your review is spot on! The only negative to my Omega is the the tiny corner of the pages tend to fold up. I love my TruTone version. It’s the perfect size, being slightly smaller than the Omega. I have the value version in tan, very leather-like, and I like it much better than I did my genuine leather version.

Hi again Frenchy 😊 You know, when I first watched this video I found that you have the exact same TruTone ESV large print thinline as I have. And today was the day that I also received the same beautiful Omega as you have 😊 My first thought was “now this is a bible..,”. Such a readable, good and nice Bible. Just as you said here in your review.
But since we have the exact same bibles, did you notice that the same as I? The TruTone has actually larger print than the Omega. It’s the same amount of words per line, and the same amount of lines per column. But the text goes closer both to the top and bottom edge of the page in the TuTone. It’s actually about three lines higher in size on each column.
I’m not sure this makes it more readable, and the page layout feels may be a little more harmonic in my eyes in the Omega. A little more air. But I just noticed the difference.
You know something there were two omegas one had a a 9 or 9.5 font ( I think it was the China printed one) and their newest having a 10.5 font (after going back to printing the Netherlands) Mine is the same exact font size, but the spacing and margins are more condensed compared to the True Tone. I have to agree the true-tone feels a lot nicer to read in, the words can breathe lol. I wish they stuck to the true-tone spacing 😔
@@FrenchyInFocus ha, wow… hmmm… really… several variants then. May be that’s why they went down a notch in print size in the latest one I got. Huh yeah breathing letters are so important for good reading experience. I couldn’t get why they should go on reducing the font size in the newest Omega compared to the Thinline. Now we probably figured it out 😊 They absolutely wanted the wider margins in the Omega than the Thinline and no compromise on that, and with the same font size it got too crowdy when they shrunk the text area. So they then reduced the font size to compensate and get the breathing back. This one I got is also from Jongbloed Netherlands.

Thank you so much 😊 Yes the newer Omega is the same 12.5 font as the True Tone, however the True Tone has wider line spacing compared to the Onegas, which is a bit more condense. On Crossway’s website, if you sign up for a free Crossway + membership you can get a nice discount too. When I purchased it was 40% off for BFD, currently it’s 30% which is still fantastic! 🥰

The highest priced one looks the nicest, in design and paper quality. I just wouldn’t be comfortable with the animal skin cover.
Ah I understand, I wish there where a more durable animal free option. I don't like that with bibles it's almost all or nothing and it's really unfair. Thank you so much for watching, even though it's not your cup of tea 🥰
@@FrenchyInFocus I guess there are plenty of higher end options out there that aren’t made from animal skin. I have an older Bible, the Women’s Study Bible, that is pretty nice, love the paper, and it has a hard pressed cardboard cover, like a typical hardback. It’s bigger than the average Bible, and thicker, because it has a lot of extra text and writing about modern day situations that relate to scripture, or explanations in simple terms, etc…..but it isn’t really a “pretty” Bible. I’m looking because my niece just got accepted into a Catholic university, and I want to get her a new one. Just starting checking out the options.
