Thanks for the Schuyler comparison!! Exactly what I was interested in.
Looks like the main difference is text size/spacing vs thinness/ travel factor. 👍🏼

Beautiful Bible; great review! I have to disagree, though, about the blue art gilding as I personally think it looks better than red would. Thank you for the review!

I wish they would do the purple under gold like Allan does. Blue to me is a mismatch. I have this very Bible myself. I LOVE the feel of the leather but my particular copy has a line in the grain horizontal right in the middle of the front cover. Some may appreciate it, I find it an eye sore though. Thinline Omega is a fabulous size for a bible.

Quick question: Do you think the Omega goatskin is durable enough to be an everyday carry Bible? I have been babying mine, but the size would really be ideal for EDC. I just wonder if it would be foolish to carry a premium Bible like this in a bag all the time. Would love your thoughts.

Thank you so much. I have the Creeds and Confessions ESV. Would you say that the references are clearer on the Omega than on the Creed's. I ask this because I find the references difficult to read

I think that 10.5 point print may prove too small for a number of visually impaired people even with magnification, as always check out the print if visual impairment is a real issue for you because it can be deceptive seeing the print on screen like this.

Interesting that the Purple Legacy from Evangelical Bible does have red under gold art guilting!

I received the blue Omega just before Christmas, biggest downside is the size of the references. I can read them fine under a good reading light but in any other setting they are difficult. Smaller reference bibles such as the PSQ has far more readable references. The font reads more like a bold 10 point font, rather than a 10.5 in my opinion, probably largely because of the leading.

I really appreciate both Bibles; although, I don't know why Schuyler chose to put the notes on the outer margin? I like how the ESV is more uniform in this. My NKJV Quentel has some pages where the notes are at the inner part of the the page. Whereas, the rest of the pages, there at the outer. I still love my Schuyler though.
One thing that I don't understand is with the new batch of RSVs from Schuyler. They told me that it has the same typo errors. And that the next batch will be corrected. Why would they sale Bibles with known typos? Especially when they cost so much? I just don't understand😔

Great review, as always! I'm looking for a nice readable ESV and came across the Crossway Heirloom Legacy edition. It comes in green, my favorite color, with red under gold! I like the look of the single-column layout in the Legacy proportions. According to some in depth blog reviews, the 2017 edition is extremely well-made, have you seen it? I'd love to hear your thoughts! It's available on Evangelical Bible, and I attempted to post a comment earlier including links to the blog review, but maybe links are a no-no? I don't know how it all works, lol.

I purchased a green heirloom legacy for my fiancee last Christmas, beautiful bible with the binding and the layout. Binding quality is the same as the Omega above. It is mass produced so it doesn't have the feel of a handmade bible of an Allan or Schuyler but it is is a little cheaper. There are a few more words per line on the Legacy compared to other single column bibles which may make it a little harder to read. It also has less spacing between the lines than a Heritage.
