After watching a few videos about changing the lower control arm on our 2008 Town and Country. I came across this video and watched it a few times. This is one of the better videos that explains how to do it and very helpful tops to make the job so much easier. Gabriel thanks for taking time and explaining how to do it . Very good video, clear and close. Even safety glasses and gloves. Lots of debris was falling down onto your face. I got both of the arms changed and put back together with very little problems. What a difference in ride. No more noise and goes over rough roads like a new van. Drivers side was different than passenger side because the transmission is in the way to get bolt out. Took out the two bolts for engine mount and jacked engine up a little and out came the bolt. Sure glad I found this video to help me fix my loud clunking noise in front end.
Excellent job amigo! I’ve seen other guys make a mess out of this repair. Thank you, very helpful.
Thanks for the video!! Good job
So relaxing watching your channel 👍
That ball joint nut is a real pain, I never thought about backing the axle nut off to get a wrench on the dang thing>THANKS
Great video
Nice job.
That control arm bushing went bad because the nut on the axle was loose allowing the wheel to move slightly in and out pushing back and forth on that bushing.
Happy Motoring.
Good job finding that loose axle nut. I cannot believe someone left it like that
Id losen the 2 boldts on the upper transmission mount too and put a block on the jack under the trans pan to be on the safe side when raising it up.
This drives me nuts. I had to replace a wheel bearing on my caravan and I fought for weeks dealing with a seized axle shaft. This guy just tapped it and it went in. I beat the hell out of it with a 10 pound sledgehammer and it wouldn’t budge.

Gracias por compartir, despues sigue el aliniamiento?
No sigues specs con torquimetro?
How did you get that bolt out by the transmission??
Doing this job this weekend and this is a huge help. He explains how to get it out from the 10:25 mark on the video.
Ok I see how you did it
Where did you put the jack on the engine to jack it up?
Yes.
If you don't have a wide floor jack Put a piece of wood, a small 2x4 to not damage the oil pan.
Don't put to much pressure, It needs just a little more Clearance...
