So hauntingly beautful,You're missed Mr.Clark,The Byrds were never the same without you.not even after Mcguin,Clark and Hilmann: you saw something more i think.
This genius of an artist could've carried The Byrds right through Notorious Byrd Bros and way beyond, to where birds fly the highest. And spared them the appalling part of their legacy when they stooped lowest, succeeding in sounding like a Ten Years After cover band playing suburban hotspots. The single greatest musical tragedy in my rock and roll lifetime.
This song is fantastic, creating mental images like those of the great poets. I played this song for my cousin. His verdict! A horrible voice, but great guitar work! Wotta fool this mortal cousin is. I disconnected from him after that. If he didn't sense the beauty of the lyrics in this song, and considered GC's voice terrible that only proved what a fool he can be. No one is more blind than those who refuse to see. In his case he's both deaf and blind so to speak, if you get my drift. RIP, Gene Clark! ♐

Tipically American: from which movie is this song....You'll never learn from your natives. The Byrds and especially Gene Clark where stars in Holland way before you listened what his songs where about
I would like her far easier than the current age of tatoos and piercing. She just has that femine quality that seems to be missing nowadays. Dude just splurge for a razor if it bothers you.
Gene Clark forever!💖
It was only decades later that I realized how important Gene Clark's contributions were to the Byrds. What a great voice.
This guys been gone for thirty years and I always listened to the byrds and never realized how good Gene Clark was.
I will always love this song.
Possibly Gene's high water mark as a songwriter.....so bloody perfect in every department, quite simply wonderful....
My Marie and Your Fire Burning are two songs that compete

I love this.
Who cares about the video?
A classic Gene Clark track is always good news
His pain became his songs, and eventually, repeating them for years, killed him.... but what a way to go!
Not the first artist too brilliant for his time and place, and sadly as always, not the last.
Fine co-leadsinger in the byrds...he has a fantastic voice...
Maybe i'm biased in my judgements..i have ALL his recordings (with and without the byrds

Woe if we were all to disconnect with people simply because they don't see the greatness of an artist. It's all subjective. Reconnect! Now.
The guitarist is Jesse Ed Davis, and he produced Gene Clark's album, "White Light."

Is the film clip Italian? What movie is it?

A great song which the video unfortunately detracts from.
