Remember how big this was with reviewers, hardly hear much these days. I really enjoyed it but found it tough to wear out. Had a small decabt and just wore around the house, loved it though.

I just bought it because of you! :) Still classic and one of the best tobacco fragrance for me. I have TF tobacco oud, Herod, Roja Enigma. Chergui is my new ( old) favorite! Thanks for the review! What do you think? Still live up for you?

Can we get an update the old vs current formulation, please? Some say less powdery and a lot smoother?
Which ‘old’ version are you referring to (there are at least 4 old versions)? In my opinion, any version prior to 2010 is going to be more interesting / less sharp / thicker ‘cloud’ / denser than the recent offerings. I wear Chergui all year long and I don’t smell like baby powder.

@@akakimtvralashvili3538 I haven’t tried the newest 100 ml bottle but, in general, for strength/projection, I would recommend that you purchase a bottle directly in / from France.
I can’t help it I have fallen in love with this house. And Chergui is also my favorite but I love everything I’ve smelt from this house so far . But I’m new to this house. I’ve only found them about 2 months ago. I’m buying my 4th bottle from this house . No not all Chergui...lol
All different scents . Every time I try a sample of one of the perfumes, I end up buying it. I tried I hoped I would hate Serge Luteins. But no I love the house. I own over 140 Niche perfumes, I don’t need any more Niche.....ughhh I’ve become a die hard Niche collector . Oh I got it for $88. I think I did pretty good, right?

I do love it. Shame on its performance 😕 very timid and soft silage , and yes . I tried the earlier bottle (not the one with the black sticker ) . Wish it had more presence and scent trail, at least if I were to spend $100+ for a bottle . 😞
