It’s a song about breaking from slavery, from those at its bottom. Many Slavers were justified by their Christian faith. This song is a vengeful inversion of that faith to liberate them.
I think you're reading too much into it. It's chain gang/spiritual/black metal. Quite niche. It's not sending a message. It's doing its thing, mixing genres.
By the way, it was Christian Abolitionists who fought against slavery and ended it in the West. Kinda like how it could be said that "atheists" killed more people in the 1900s than any century before (Communists and Nazis, opposing religion and killing and torturing more than 200,000,000 religious people, and even into today), but yet most atheists today just want to leave people alone and be left alone.

I'm gonna assume you subscribe to one the Abrahamic faiths. The song is thematic. Not intended for literal interpretation. Say you have a story of a kickass god Slayer this song would thematically fit said story. Like say the game outriders it deals with concepts such as the line between humanity and God and how close man can become a God if not entirely become one through cosmic power ECT ECT stories

I listened to this album on Spotify and when the recording came, I thought - is that Aleister Crowley..? So far this song and Devil is Fine are the greatest songs, fucking love the blend of prison blues and black metal, you guys have a unique concept, also your music should be at least a soundtrack to the serie Lucifer, now and then also great soundtracks, I can't wait for a new album! Stay original guys! Maybe you can add some voodoo elements to it too, maybe a song about the voodoo queen for example, a friend introduced me to your music, since then still love it!
I don't really think they were going for prison blues, but slave spirituals instead. Then again the historical context behind both aren't too far removed from each other.

i heard this for the first time two years ago, i was neck deep into black metal but I didn't listen to a lot of blues music. these days I'm listening to more and more vintage blues, and came back to this. it gets better each time I listen to it.
Whenever I hear this song I think of Spawn and how well it fits his character. Like man I swear I’d love to see him on the big screen whipping demon and angel ass with this song in the background

Fuck I love this. I hear so much Cradle of Filth influence and that is such a good thing. I love the railroad type singing. The sound of metal clanking metal and chains. Paying tribute to their roots in the most awesome way. Let's not forget who built those tracks that trains still use to this day. Probably a lot of ghosts on those tracks.
