These live versions are better than the studio ones because the audience noise actually adds to the effect. It's like a raiding party and everyone is ecstatic and ready to fight.
Real music always sounds better live, that's how you can tell the difference.

I am not usually a fan of live music but I got to see them in concert and it was breathtaking. A small venue made it feel much more like a religious ritual than a concert.
If you don't like live music, you likely only go to some pretty weak shows.

@@gregoriannex8749 Not exactly. The name of the song is Alfadhirhaiti. Alfadhir is "All Father" and haiti does suspiciously sound like "heter" from modern Norwegian. The word heter basically means "is named." You'd use it to say "Jeg heter Magnus - I'm named Magnus" So the name of the song loosely means "The Allfather is called-" in the context of a cutoff sentence, the implication being that the missing words would be a listing of his names. It's a song calling out to him, using all his many names in the hope of drawing his attention, to witness you.
Basically the entire song boils down to "Hey Odin, check this out"
